Adorable post-canon (hand-wavy about what diverged from what really happened but honestly I think it works and like, same if I ever write TG fic) domestic with Kaneki still being very mentally ill about fictionalizing his own life but maybe starting to improve on it. Kind of silly but it works. Also shoutout to Hide being mildly obnoxious to live with wrt the drinking milk straight from the carton but having the defense that he's the only one that drinks it anyways hdgjdjk. Kaneki's personality reverts a bit more than I personally would HC but I always thought he should become a writer-slash-house husband for Hide in my own ideal post-canon so this is extremely close
