Jeon Jungkook was having the Worst Day Ever™ and nothing could make it better, not even Big Bang screaming at the top of their lungs or his freshly washed leather jacket. That's what he thinks.
Until someone starts sending him memes in the middle of class.

Jeon Jungkook was having a bad day.

A really, really bad day.

His alarm had rung at the usual time but he had slept straight through the whole song, considering he had only gotten 3 hours of sleep from pulling an all nighter. When his alarm rang for the second time that day to G-Dragon rapping, he realized his class was starting in ten minutes. He considered sleeping in; the only reason he bothered to get up was because it was Big Bang playing and he absolutely could not disrespect the best people to ever exist.™

Also, Kim Taehyung may or may not be in this class.

When he finally hauled himself from bed, he looked around and found that his roommate, Yoongi was nowhere to be found ('probably making out with Jimin', Jungkook thought in disgust.) Cursing the gods, he threw on the first clothes he saw; a plain white tshirt with a questionable stain near the neckline, black jeans, and his leather jacket.

He sniffed his jacket approximately ten times because he had just washed it, before he began to brush his teeth and spray his cologne at the same time. Not really a pretty sight. Already being 30 minutes late for class, Jungkook began looking for the keys of his motorbike.

(“You want a motorbike…for getting honors?”

“Yes dad, please… My reputation is on the line.”

“Why are you like this?”)

After five minutes of desperate searching, he realized why they weren’t there. “Min Yoongi.” He hissed. His stupid roommate/hyung had to borrow his bike to impress his dumbass best friend. Hyung thought Jimin was some God but Jungkook knew Jimin listens to Taylor Swift on a daily basis. And it wasn’t even ironically. He sighed in defeat; there was only one other option.

He had to sprint.

Roughly ten minutes later, Jungkook slammed the door open to his class and immediately all eyes fell on him. His professor gave him the most unimpressed look he had ever seen on a man, and he was friends with Yoongi hyung. He was too busy trying not to fall on the floor, gasping for breath as his professor said something. “-first time Jeon. That’s the only reason I’m letting you go.” Jungkook nodded, bowing to show his gratitude. Running up the steps, he sat down at a relatively bad seat with something looking suspiciously like gum stuck under his table, but he couldn’t complain.

Just as he was getting his books out, his phone vibrated. Glancing up to make sure that the professor wasn’t looking, he switched on his phone and frowned as he saw an AirDrop request from PandasAreCool. Furrowing his eyebrows in confusion, he accepted it and was greeted with the picture of a dog in sunglasses. He immediately began laughing, and stopped himself before he could get too loud. He couldn’t get in any more trouble. The next second, another one was sent, this time of Taeyang’s derp face.

Looking around, he found quite a few people with phones and he couldn’t pinpoint who it was sending him these pictures. A few seconds later, another one was sent and he couldn’t stop the smile that took over his face, bad day forgotten.

This continued on, as PandasAreCool kept on sending him memes. He hadn’t even noticed time passing until his professor dismissed them all. He began packing his (two) books when he heard a cough. Looking up, he saw Kim Taehyung, his biggest crush of the last two years, grinning at him. “Hi! Did you like what I sent?” Taehyung grinned his boxy smile that always made Jungkook want to throw himself off a bridge. His mind registered the words and he froze.

“You-you’re PandasAreCool?” Jungkook asked in disbelief. “Yup! You looked a bit sad and I thought you could cheer up.” ‘That’s it’, Jungkook thought. ‘I’m in love. I’m going to marry this boy and give him the world.’ “Thank you, that’s really sweet.” Jungkook gave him a lazy smile.

No matter how much he wanted to giggle and coo at the boy in front of him, he was Jeon Jungkook, Motorbike driving-leather jacket wearing-no giggling man. Taehyung giggled. “No problem friend. I am meme share supreme.”

A moment passed.

Jungkook was slow, not understanding whether Taehyung was joking. But he looked dead serious.

It didn't matter anyway. No one in the entire world could say that and not make Jungkook want to punch them, but when Taehyung said it, Jungkook wanted to give him his soul.

He was whipped.

“So, do you want to get coffee or something? My next class doesn’t start in half an hour,” Taehyung asked, a slight blush on his cheeks. Jungkook really wanted to say yes and maybe spend the whole day with the boy in front of him, but he had his Visual Communications in ten minutes. “I’d love to, but I have class in ten minutes.” Taehyung’s face falls at his words and Jungkook quickly scrambles his brain to think of anything, anything that would make the boy happy again.

“But I’m free after? If you want?” Jungkook said, praying in his head that Taehyung would accept. And Hallelujah, his smile came back at its proper place. Jungkook swore to himself he would always try and make that smile remain there forever.

“I have class til six today! Text me your number and you can come over and play Outlast?” Taehyung said, jumping up and down excitedly. “It’s a one player game though?” Jungkook asked, confused. Taehyung stopped jumping. “Oh. I really wanted to try it out with someone,” Taehyung said with a small pout. Jungkook quickly replied, “don’t worry! We’ll take chances.” Taehyung grinned again and held his palm open for Jungkook’s phone.

He placed it on Taehyung’s hand and he quickly began entering his number and sent a message to himself. A quack came out of nowhere and Jungkook literally jumped, making Tae giggle apologetically. “Sorry! Hobi hyung must have changed my text tone. I’ll text you!” Taehyung waved and left the room, leaving Jungkook alone. A few seconds later, his phone chimed. Looking down, he couldn’t help the large grin on his face.

Tae-Tae ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆

Hii!! My room number is 630. Come with something to eat and you’ll be my new best friend hehe

Jungkook usually had everyone by their names (and maybe a funny nickname here and there), but he figured Taehyung could be an exception to this.
