"Hyung?" There were four rapid knocks on the door and Seokjin frowned as he had just gotten under the warm spray of water.
He just wanted a nice, long shower after a long day of dancing and sweating and strained muscles at the harsh choreography that just wasn't meant for his body, so why was someone trying to interrupt his paradise?
"Seokjin-hyung?" More intense knocking but the voice became recognizable and Jin visibly relaxed now that he knew his peaceful shower was certain to be. "It's me, Taehyung! Can you let me in?"
Seokjin silently stepped out the tub and onto the rug, not bothering to cover up as he opened the door because it's not like they haven't seen each other naked. What was there to be shy of?
"Yes Tae?" the eldest asked once coming face to face with his dongsaeng who stood on the other side of the door.
He wasn't all that surprised when seeing the younger male with a towel and clothes in hand, a huge smile planted on his handsome face as he stared at Seokjin with his huge puppy eyes.
"Can I shower with you?" And there it was, the question Seokjin already suspected.
The eldest stepped aside and gave way for his younger group member to enter. Seokjin made sure to lock the door once again and carefully made his way back into the tub. Not too long after, there was another body behind him that casually started rubbing body wash all over Seokjin's back, the culprit making small conversation about his pets back at home and their well-being.

Yoongi and Namjoon had left as soon as they had showered; they went back to the studio to 'finish' a track for their comeback (although Seokjin knew what was going on. Yoongi was his roommate, he knew the true intentions tied to his dongsaeng's studio date as soon as Namjoon mentioned it was Yoongi's request to perfect their title song, but he didn't say anything because Yoongi was blushing and glaring and Seokjin wasn't gonna watch him die of embarrassment,) so Seokjin, using years of experience, calculated when they would be back. A little after midnight seemed about right.
That meant he was alone, but it wasn't as bad as people would expect. It was dark and cozy, no light hurting his eyesight. His new mattress was comfortable as hell and his sheets were fresh out of the drier (thanks to Jungkook who owed him after he lost to their eating contest) and it wasn't all that hard to sink into the bed.
There was white noise coming from the living room where the maknaes and Hoseok had taken to having a Smash Bros competition, but the walls separating the rooms were thick enough as to not let too much noise trespass. It was a soothing sound that Seokjin loved hearing at night. Made him happy and content that he wasn't completely alone.
Just as he was slipping into dreamland, he heard the doorknob jiggling, then the door opened, letting a small sliver of light enter the darkened room, then more light slipped in as the door creaked open even wider, just enough for a person to walk in. It didn't take long for the door to shut again, and Seokjin didn't even have to think about it. He knew who it was. The almost soundless footsteps crossing the tiled floor was eerily recognizable after hearing the same pattern for years.
"Seokjin-hyung?" he whispered.
He smiled, opening his eyes and coming face to face with Taehyung. "Yeah, I'm awake," Seokjin confirmed the silent question hanging in the air.
The eldest waited patiently, listened to the shifting of Taehyung's slippers against the tiles, could faintly make out his dongsaeng's silhouette in the dark using the dim moonlight slipping in through the dark blue (but somewhat transparent) curtains that Yoongi practically begged to be hung up.
He didn't have to wait much longer because soon came the question Seokjin's been hearing since pre-debut.
"Can I sleep with you tonight?"
"You've been asking me this for nearly five years." Sleep laced Seokjin's words but Taehyung could make out the fond tone in between the tiredness. "I'm surprised you're not coming in here and making yourself comfortable yet," he rambled sleepily.
He heard Taehyung scoff faintly as he removed his house slippers. "My grandparents raised me right," he mumbled, already slipping under the duvets and wrapping his arms around Seokjin's endearingly small waist. "They always told me to ask for mutual content. I can't go against their orders now, can I? I don't want to disappoint them."
Seokjin chuckled lightly. "Aren't you a sweetheart," he said grabbing onto Tae's hands and shifting so that he was now a comfortable little spoon.
He felt Taehyung's breath against the back of his neck, warm and familiar and comforting and it made him even happier. His dongsaeng's presence mixed in with the background noise relaxed Seokjin all that more than he already was.
"Night hyung," Taehyung whispered, placing a small kiss between his hyung's shoulder blades.
"Night Tae."

Seven a.m greets Taehyung with Seokjin trying to slip out of his embrace as quietly as he could, but it wasn't enough to keep the younger from waking up.
He groaned and whined at the morning that ruined his cuddle time with his hyung. Just once, he wanted to wake up and laze around in bed with Seokjin in his arms. Just once. Was that too much to ask for?
It was a routine by now, Seokjin unintentionally waking up Taehyung as he leaves to make a quick breakfast before they headed to their schedule of the day.
Taehyung didn't even hesitate on following Seokjin into the kitchen, taking a seat at the table and resting his face sideways on the pillow he took from Jin's bed.
"Wake up the guys for me, won't you?" Seokjin ordered softly.
Taehyung groaned but hummed in agreement making the eldest nodded in approval. Seokjin busied himself trying to get all the ingredients for their breakfast.
Taehyung stood, chair scraping against the tiled floor but before even doing what Seokjin asked, Taehyung walked towards him and gave his hyung a bear hug.
"I want sausage with my breakfast," Taehyung said into the side of Jin's neck.
"We don't have enough for everyone," the eldest reminded.
"They can eat something else," Taehyung grumbled. "Chim Chim and Kookie ate my yogurt yesterday and didn't even think to share it with me. Can you believe that? They didn't share my own yogurt with me!"
Seokjin couldn't help but laugh at how childish Taehyung sounded. "I'll take you to the store today and buy you whatever you want, yeah? How does that sound?" Seokjin bargained and he felt the younger grin against his skin as he buried his face deeper into Jin's neck.
"Can't wait," he mumbled before placing a kiss right under Seokjin's jaw.
"Great. Go wake up the others now."
"M'kay."

Seokjin was in his room getting ready to head out to their schedule when Taehyung ran in wearing only boxers with his shoes and a pair of Pokemon socks in hand.
"I need to borrow some clothes. I forgot to do laundry yesterday," Tae explained as he rummaged through Seokjin's side of the closet without permission.
"Why don't you borrow something from Jungkook or Jimin?" asked Yoongi from his bed where he was mindlessly scrolling through his phone. "I mean you're already wearing Jungkook's socks so where's the damage in wearing his clothes?"
"Socks are different than clothes," Taehyung said with a disbelieving scoff. "Besides, why would I wear the maknae's clothes when I can just wear hyung's?"
Yoongi's answer was an eye roll which Seokjin laughed at. Once they were fully dressed, Taehyung ran out the room with his shoes and socks still in hand as he called for Jungkook.
"His crush on you is so fucking obvious. Why not just ask you out already," Yoongi grumbled from his slumped position against the headboard.
Seokjin sat on his own bed and pulled his phone out. "Don't be jealous just because he's comfortable chasing after me in public. Unlike some people who don't have the guts."
Yoongi scoffed. "Are you calling me out hyung?"
Seokjin grinned innocently. "I'm just saying that you shouldn't be annoyed he has his feelings in plain sight. It's your own fault for hiding your feelings from Namjoon. Seriously, grow a pair and tell him how you feel. The guy's oblivious when it comes to feelings."
Yoongi looked ready to argue but gave up when he had nothing to say and instead shifted until he was laying down flat on the mattress. He turned his back to Seokjin who smiled in amusement at his roommate's childlike silent treatment.
"Why can't Namjoonie be like Tae?" the latter whined at nothing.
"Why can't you be like Tae?" Seokjin asked in response even though he knew the question wasn't for him.
Just like he assumed, Yoongi didn't answer. Minutes later Namjoon peeked his head into the room. "Manager Sejin-hyung is waiting for us downstairs so we better get going."
Yoongi stood up and walked out, following Namjoon as he went to round up Hoseok and Taehyung who were holding Jungkook hostage in the maknae's room. Seokjin could hear Taehyung and Hoseok's laughs mixing with Jungkook's defensive shouts and pleas for help.
"What happened?" Seokjin asked Jimin who was in the living room tying his shoelaces.
For a moment, Jimin was confused until Seokjin pointed towards the direction in which they could hear the leader shouting as an attempt to calm down his group members.
Jimin's expression changed from confusion to realization. "Jungkook ate Taehyung's hidden yogurt and also used Hobi's last face mask so they're trying to make him agree to take them out to eat as payback," Jimin informed and Seokjin let out a fond chuckle.
Just then Namjoon's scolding got louder until he was full on yelling and then, finally, things settled down.
A few minutes later, the rest of the group walked into the living room, dressed decently even though they'll have to change once they get to the studio.
"Let's get going now, shall we?" asked the leader, a dimpled smile on his face that showed no signs of his earlier struggle, well except for his heavy breathing.

"What do you want to watch," Yoongi asked as he and Seokjin pushed their beds together.
They were getting ready for roommate movie night, their snacks and drinks thrown lazily on Seokjin's bed, Yoongi's laptop already connected to the television a few feet away from the beds, and they were fresh out the shower and already snuggled into their comfortable matching pajamas (Seokjin had on Mario themed bottoms on with a white shirt while Yoongi had Luigi themed bottoms and a gray shirt.) They were ready to start, all they needed was a movie.
"Let's have a Harry Potter marathon!" Seokjin suggested excitedly as he straightened out from the slumped position he was in while pushing his bed. "I haven't seen those movies since we were trainees!"
"One movie. Choose it carefully," Yoongi said strictly.
Seokjin made a face and crawled into his bed, pushing away the snacks and bottled drinks towards the crease the two beds created. The eldest got comfortable against the wall while Yoongi walked over to the small desk under the tv that hung on the wall.
"Let's start with the first movie. I'll watch the rest some other day," Seokjin said and Yoongi agreed.
The movie started playing on the tv and Yoongi walked towards his side of the bed, slipping under the covers and snatching a bag of skittles from the mountain of junk food they weren't allowed to eat considering they were so close to a comeback. But the roommate contract they signed after getting paired up together stated that they'd burn off the extra calories they gained as roommates.
Right when they were at the part where the variety of owls surrounded the Dursley's house, Taehyung ran in, hair wet, a towel wrapped around his waist and a pout of sadness that made him look like a toddler.
"Why didn't you wait for me?" His question was directed at Seokjin, completely ignoring Yoongi's existence. Said man stuffed his cheeks full of Skittles in an attempt to stop the scolding resting at the tip of his tongue. It worked, thankfully.
"Sorry Taehyungie, we need to go to sleep soon and I wanted to watch a movie before that," Seokjin explained sheepishly. The excuse made sense to Taehyung so he nodded.
"Make space for me hyungs, please," he said as he shuffled towards Seokjin's side of the closet. He ended up with one some sweats and a Mario shirt that Yoongi remembers Seokjin strictly telling the other members to never touch or they were goners.
Yoongi looked over to his roommate but the eldest was too distracted, smiling adoringly at Taehyung who was drying his hair with the towel, heart eyes in their full glory exposed to the world.
"Aren't you gonna do something?" Yoongi hissed in a whisper.
Seokjin frowned. "What do you want me to do?"
"I don't know, something?"
Seokjin wasn't able to respond because Taehyung crawled onto the bed, shoving the snacks that were in between the two eldest until they were pressed against Yoongi's thighs. The youngest comfortably settled against the oldest's side, a content smile on his face.
Yoongi glared at the movie the whole time, not because he hated Harry Potter but because he hated being the third wheel. He should have asked Namjoon to go to the studio again, at least then he wouldn't be ignored.

Practice ended after eight gruesome hours of tiring choreography. Everyone had taken to leaving at the same time so that they could get some dinner before going back to the dorm. Given that they wasted close to all their energy on dancing, it was surprising Jimin and Jungkook were able to play tag like the toddlers they were.
Taehyung was first down the stairs, ahead of them all because he was desperate to get to the dorms and eat something that wasn't protein bars. Namjoon and Yoongi were walking side by side with a little space between them and Hoseok was to Namjoon's left, a couple of steps behind them. Seokjin was walking alone in the middle of the staircase, distractedly wiping sweat from his neck with a towel he had brought with him. Jimin and Jungkook were last, having been running up and down the stairs in a sort of race and everything was good but Jimin, wanting to escape Jungkook's hold, ran farther down that he intended and rushed past Seokjin, just barely avoiding him but shoving him with enough force to make him lose balance.
"What the-" Seokjin asked dazedly. Hoseok was holding onto him since he was close enough to save his hyung from falling. As soon as Seokjin was steady enough to stand on his own, Jungkook pushed past Seokjin making the eldest miss a step on the stairs and down he went stumbling, the others moving out of the way unconsciously once they realized something was rolling down the stairs.
"Hyung!" chorused the hyung line.
Jungkook and Jimin looked up from their spot on the flat surface that leads to another set of stairs and their eyes widened at the sight of their hyung rolling towards them. Instead of stopping Seokjin's doom like Taehyung hoped, they stepped aside. It was a natural instinct, Taehyung knew because he did the same thing but it still angered him a little.
"Hyung!" Taehyung ran down the stairs, the other members right behind him. "Are you okay?"
"I think I twisted my ankle," Seokjin breathed out. He groaned, whined and even looked like he was close to crying as he held onto his leg, careful not to touch his swollen ankle.
"We need to get you some medical treatment," Namjoon said. He reached out to Seokjin to try and pick him up but Taehyung stopped him.
"I can carry him, hyung," he offered. Namjoon nodded, reminding him to be careful when standing up. Taehyung was glad we decided to go to the gym because all that weight training paid off; Seokjin was heavy.
"Don't worry hyung, it's just a small injury," Taehyung muttered as he carried Seokjin to the van, letting the injured sit shotgun. Taehyung sat down behind Seokjin.
"I'll call another driver, in the meanwhile wait here. Make sure to rest when you get to the dorms," Sejin said from the driver's seat. "I'm gonna take Seokjin to the hospital. We'll be back later."
The other members, who had been standing outside the van, nodded. All except Taehyung who stubbornly sat in his seat.
"Aren't you gonna to get off?" Namjoon asked. The dongsaeng shook his head.
"I'm going with hyung," he said. "Please let me."
Namjoon stared at their manager who was on the phone. Sejin just shrugged before going back to talking to their second driver. "Alright then." Namjoon nodded. "Okay. Behave though."
"Thanks hyung!" Taehyung said, a huge grin puffing his cheeks and crinkling his eyes.
Namjoon pat his arm and stepped away, closing the van door.

"Taehyung." Seokjin hissed as he tried getting comfortable and accidentally hurt his injured foot with his healthy foot. "I'm fine," the eldest tried assuring, his tone of voice stern but light as he talked to Taehyung who hadn't left his side since they got to the hospital hours beforehand. "You can go sleep in your room now."
"But who's gonna take care of you while I'm not here," Taehyung asked from his kneeled position on the floor next to Seokjin's bed. He refused to get on the bed while Seokjin was still injured, he was afraid of accidentally hurting him.
"Did you forget I exist?" Yoongi asked from his bed.
He was peeking out from under the covers, half awake as he stared at the interaction between his too pretty hyung and his too bold dongsaeng. It was two in the morning, Taehyung had woken him, and Yoongi was tired. He wanted to sleep, not to witness a gooey love scene from a drama.
"Oh yeah," Taehyung said in realization. "Yoongi, can you go sleep in my bed? I wanna sleep in yours."
Yoongi didn't hesitate to reject the offer.
"Please hyung?" Taehyung begged.
"I'm not changing my mind," Yoongi said.
"Yoongi-hyung." Taehyung crawled his way towards Yoongi's bed where he was right in front of Yoongi's narrowed eyes. "Please let me sleep in your bed."
Yoongi scoffed and rolled his eyes. "I'm ignoring you."
"Why not ask to sleep with Namjoonie?" Seokjin asked.
Yoongi sat up. "Don't eat on my bed," he said right before walking out the room and heading towards Namjoon's.
°•°•°•°•°
Jin awoke to Taehyung massaging his now bandage free ankle and he smiled.
"Morning hyung," Jin heard his dongsaeng greet. Seokjin opened his eyes, his gaze focusing on the beauty that is Kim Taehyung sitting at the edge of the bed.
"Morning," Seokjin greeted back, sitting up and leaning against the wall. He looked over to the bed and noticed his roommate wasn't in his bed. "Is Yoongi still sleeping in Namjoonie's bed?"
"Nah, him, Namjoon-hyung and Hoseok-hyung went out to record a new Cypher or something. Didn't let me come."
Seokjin chuckled. "I'm guessing Yoongi's writing about you since you practically kicked him out of his bed for a whole week."
Taehyung rolled his eyes. "It wasn't bad; he slept on the same bed as his crush didn't he? I helped him out a bit."
Seokjin nodded , then Taehyung stood up. "Let's go get breakfast, hyung."
They walked to the kitchen, keeping a slow pace since Taehyung was being overprotective and didn't want Seokjin to trip over air and hurt his foot again. They got to the kitchen but before the eldest even took a step towards the fridge, Taehyung gently pushed him towards a stool under the kitchen island.
"What are you-"
"I'm looking for you," Taehyung interrupted. "I practiced just for you."
So Jin watched from the island, a stupid grin on his face as he watched Taehyung concentrate on making Seokjin's favorite breakfast.
"That's not fair," someone whined from the kitchen door. They turned and saw Jimin pouting, walking in and sitting on the stool next to Seokjin. "Why don't you ever cook for me? I'm, like, your soulmate."
Taehyung huffed out a chuckle. "You're older than me, if anything, you should be cooking for me."
"This is favoritism!" Jimin slammed his palm flat on the wooden surface, hissing in pain afterward and cradling his hand as if it would help ease the pain.
"You're not wrong." Taehyung shrugged and Jimin gasped.
"Don't admit to it so fast!" he said. "You're supposed to reject the statement the first time before guilt at your conscience and then you'd admit to your wrongdoings."
"I'm not lying though," Taehyung admitted casually. "I rather make things easier for us."
Jimin pursed his lips, looking as if he wanted to protest some more but he ended up just huffing and walking out the kitchen with a light stomp to his steps.
Seokjin grinned bemusedly at the tantrum. Despite his attention being on Jimin and his childish behavior (he had sat down on the living room sofa and watched morning cartoons; that was fucking adorable,) Seokjin didn't fail to notice Taehyung's gaze burning into his soul, and when they made eye contact, Seokjin felt the swarm of butterflies fluttering around in his stomach.
°•°•°•°•°
Bedtime came around faster than Seokjin expected, but Yoongi was still at his 'Genius Lab' working on a project, at least that's the excuse he used on Seokjin after the elder questioned him on where he and Namjoon were after Hoseok had come back to the dorm alone.
Seokjin knew Yoongi lied because after asking Namjoon what they were up to a few minutes ago, he responded by sending a picture of Shameless playing on Netflix on the flat screen television Yoongi hung up in his studio after they moved locations. Jin only hoped Yoongi finally made a move; the amount of sex in the American show is bound to raise some sort of tension between them.
Seokjin promised himself that if Yoongi came back without even initiating as much as a kiss with their leader then he will personally shove him onto Namjoon's dick, or the other way around, it was Yoongi's decision.
Seokjin's 'Get Yoongi Laid One Way Or Another' plan playing in his head was interrupted when the door opened. Just like he expected, in walked Taehyung with wet hair and a clean pair of pajamas, fresh out of the shower and bringing a nice scent that relaxed Seokjin.
"How are you doing?" his caring dongsaeng asked with a concerned frown on his handsome face. He sat down at the edge of Seokjin's bed, much like he had been doing for the past week.
"I'm alright now Tae," Seokjin murmured. He reached his hand out and held onto Taehyung's soft fingers. They were the only thing he reached, and after noticing the slight pout on his hyung's face, Taehyung shifted until he was sitting next to Seokjin's waist, fingers interlaced and resting in between them. "You don't have to take care of me anymore. My foot is okay now," Seokjin reminded.
"I just wanna make sure you're okay hyung, you can't blame me," Tae responded, the corner of his lips lifting a bit to form a small but genuine smile and Seokjin couldn't help but copy the facial expression.
Taehyung stood up silently, walked towards the door and flipped the light switch that was next to the entrance. Seokjin got comfortable under the covers as he waited for Taehyung to take his spot next to him, his smile not wavering when the bed dipped and a big hand gripped at his waist.
Seokjin didn't go to sleep as easily as he usually did. While Taehyung was dozing off, the oldest of the two shifted gently until he was facing Taehyung. Seokjin decided on observing him instead of counting sheep. Taehyung's lips were only slightly open as he breathed in through his mouth, his eyes shut and his expression smoothed out making his facial features look soft and innocent.
Without even thinking twice, Seokjin leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on Taehyung's lips. It startled him, and his expression went from relaxed to shocked, wide eyes staring at Seokjin as if the older had just told him to abandon Soonshim at a dog park or something. His reaction concerned Seokjin a little, but he knew how his dongsaeng felt about him so he was at ease for the most part.
"Hyung-"
"Thank you for taking care of me," Seokjin whispered, leaning in and kissing Taehyung for the second time. It was still a soft and gentle kiss, although it lasted longer than the first. Seokjin pulled away and let his head fall limp on his pillow. "Goodnight Taehyungie."
His eyes were closed when Taehyung kissed his hyung's forehead, but it still made the oldest smile and cuddle closer to his dongsaeng's warmth. "Sleep well hyung."
