    He's a little too careful that Taehyung convinces Jimin to get a tattoo with him in the hopes that in the process of Jimin getting his tattoo, his soulmate will know that he's alive, too.

    Jimin is a martyr.
    Even if his tattoo artist is his soulmate, even if his soulmate seems to love someone else, and even if his soulmate despises him, Jimin is okay. It hurts, but he's okay. Knowing that he's alive is enough for him.
