   Summary

   A Soulmate AU wherein you can feel your soulmate's pain.

   Jimin's convinced that his soulmate is dead.
   He hasn't felt the faintest trace of pain from the other in over
   a year that he's so sure that whoever beat him up last finished him off. But when he wakes up to his hand searing and red from getting burnt, he's filled with new hope for the future.

   Jimin is a careful soul.
   He's a little too careful that Taehyung convinces Jimin to get a tattoo with him in the hopes that in the process of Jimin getting his tattoo, his soulmate will know that he's alive, too.

   Jimin is a martyr.
   Even if his tattoo artist is his soulmate, even if his soulmate seems to love someone else, and even if his soulmate despises him, Jimin is okay. It hurts, but he's okay. Knowing that he's alive is enough for him.
