Ryuunosuke Naruhodo blinked weakly at the sunlight shining through the gap between the bedroom curtains and straight into his face. Irritated, he grunted, and put his head back down under the duvet carefully – making sure not to wake his sleeping partner, who was still quietly snoozing.
He managed to look over the edge of the duvet at the clock. It was still, thankfully, quite a while before they needed to get up for their classes, and there was at least another forty-five minutes or so before the alarm was due to go off. He may as well stay under the duvet, Naruhodo reasoned, so he could enjoy the mutual warmth between the two of them a little while longer.
His partner, Kazuma Asougi, seemed to have the same idea. Asougi turned over in the bed to face Naruhodo as he snuggled himself down again.
“What time is it, Ryuu?” he yawned. His mop-like hair was a mess and his eyes were as bleary as anything.
“Six fifteen,” Naruhodo replied with a tired smile as Asougi took the chance to stretch his long arms.
“Plenty of time to rest yet, I guess,” said Asougi with another yawn. He fixed himself in the bed before wrapping his arm around Naruhodo, who snuggled closer to him and rested his head on his partner’s chest.
“And plenty of time for cuddles,” added Naruhodo, smiling as Asougi carefully placed a gentle kiss on the side of his cheek before beginning to gently play with his spiky hair, all messed up from the pillow.
The best way to spend forty-five minutes before having to get up? This was it. Enjoying each-other’s warmth.
