    Chuuya's in the middle of the ritual that's supposed to end with him crowned as King when he bumps into Dazai, the King-to-be from the kingdom they're at war with. That's already bad in itself - it turns out that meeting each other caused a soulmate bond to form between them.

    Which means that Chuuya can't stay alive without having constant physical contact with his enemy. Which means that Chuuya has to be disowned and exiled from his kingdom. Which means that he has to bear working with Dazai, at least until they're able to find a way to break the bond.

    ...Only until then, because he's not interested in spending more time with this stupid soulmate of his, okay?!
