Work Text:

Seokjin is in a restaurant, and there are endless plates of food in front of him that he can eat to his heart’s content. He doesn't hesitate to dig in and enjoy the food. But no matter how much he eats, he's still hungry.

Not that he thinks it's a bad thing; it just means he can eat more. But the hunger is beginning to become unbearable and he can start to hear a faint ringing in his ears.

A waiter comes to his table with a smile and offers him some wine that Seokjin politely refuses, an empty feeling deep in his stomach. The waiter, who looks scarily familiar, continues to smile and instead pulls out what looks like Seokjin's alarm clock and places it on the table. Seokjin looks to the waiter in question but he's still smiling even as he leaves. The alarm clock is singing some pop song from a random radio station and announces that the set alarm is a whole hour later than for when Seokjin set it the night before...

Dread fills Seokjin's body as the song becomes louder and louder.

Seokjin wakes with a start, his body in a cold sweat as if he'd just had a nightmare and his alarm clock screeching music at him. He lies there, staring at the ceiling and counting to 30 before smacking the alarm clock so hard it turns off completely and practically jumping out of bed. "Ah, shit," he mumbles to himself as his stomach grumbles.

After the quickest shower of his life, Seokjin throws on the black slacks and blue button up shirt he'd picked out for his first day of work. He doesn’t bother with trying to style his hair when the kitchen clock tells him he should be leaving the house by now. He starts at 9 today; luckily, it will only take him 15 minutes to walk to work, and 10 if he speed walks. Not so luckily, the clock says it’s 20 to 9 when Seokjin's stomach lets out the most unruly growl.

He can't not eat. Seokjin sighs and resigns himself to being late on his first day. After quickly whipping himself up some toast and eating it as he packs the lunch he thankfully made the night before into his bag, he pours his morning coffee into a carry cup and rushes to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Seokjin wraps his own hand-knitted scarf around his neck and shrugs his jacket on in a way he hopes doesn't crinkle his shirt too much in his haste.

The clock is dangerously close to 9 as Seokjin quickly gives himself a once over in the hallway mirror. Glad he actually looks decent despite the rush, Seokjin grabs his coffee and bag before leaving his apartment.

Seokjin doesn't speed walk as fast as he could on the way to work. He's already late according to his phone and he doesn't want to be flustered when he finally does arrive.

Seokjin's new job is in the city museum. When he saw the ad for the job opening online, he couldn't not apply; the position matched up with his degree and experience perfectly. The pay was even significantly higher than his crappy old job that didn’t let him use his skills to the fullest. He was so happy when he got called for an interview and turned up nearly half an hour early to it. Sitting in the interview was his new boss, Namjoon, a nice older lady he can't remember the name of, and a young boy who looked nearly right out of high school and who said nothing but took notes the whole time.

The three looked tired when it was finally Seokjin's turn. He was their last interview of the day and he was very nervous until he and Namjoon started talking about Seokjin's degree in fossils and got carried away on a tangent about differences in the preservations of rock fossils and amber fossils.

Seokjin left the interview with a smile on his face and a promise to let him know as soon as possible if he got the job.

Seokjin enters the building a little confused. He is surprised to see so many people in the museum at ten past nine on a Monday. In his slightly frazzled state he can't remember where exactly Namjoon agreed to meet him, and Seokjin is late. Did he go through the staff entrance and explain to the other staff members there it's his first day? Is Namjoon waiting for him somewhere?

Seokjin sips his coffee and scans the crowd in the museum lobby who were all waiting to get in to see the displays. "Are you right there?" a deep voice sounds from behind Seokjin, and he spins around to see a shorter man with slightly messy black hair. The bottom half of his face is almost completely hidden by his scarf and he is holding a coffee cup from the cafe down the road in his hand.

Seokjin almost sighs in relief at the sight of someone who may be able to help him. The other man has really nice eyes and a cute nose, but Seokjin pushes thoughts of how attractive he is away. "Actually, I have no idea where I'm meant to be." Seokjin smiles a little awkwardly. "It's my first day here and Namjoon didn't tell me where to meet him and I know I'm late but I really could use some help finding him."

The man in front of him raises an eyebrow. "Kim Namjoon?" he asks, pulling down his scarf to sip his own coffee.

"Yes!" Seokjin exclaims in relief. "My name is Kim Seokjin and I'm starting in his team today," he explains.

Both of the stranger’s eyebrows raise under his fringe in understanding. "You're Namjoon's new senior fossil specialist and research developer," he says in understanding as Seokjin nods happily at the recognition of his new title. "I'm Min Yoongi," the man introduces himself. If Seokjin didn't know any better he'd thought he'd seen a spark of excitement in Yoongi's eyes when he realised who Seokjin was.

"Nice to meet you," Seokjin greets with a small bow, but he doesn't get a chance to ask Yoongi what his job is before he's being led to the employee entrance.

"I'm meeting with Namjoon this morning so I'll take you," Yoongi says through his scarf which he tugged back up. "I heard you and Namjoon had quite the conversation at your interview."

"Ah yes," Seokjin laughs. "I can't help it; once I get started talking about my research, I just can't stop."

Yoongi takes him to the reception desk in the staff entrance and once Seokjin introduces himself, the lady there gives him a bright smile and hands him his security pass. The shorter of the two men then lead them to the museum elevators that in Seokjin's opinion are quite huge.

"So," Yoongi drawls as they wait for an elevator to come down. "What can you tell me of plant fossils?"

-

Seokjin was ridiculously happy as Yoongi, like Namjoon, understood all his points about his work and knowledge, and the two ended up in a rather in-depth discussion. Seokjin only vaguely noticed Yoongi guide him out of the elevator on the third floor.

"You should definitely read the report we did about a year ago on that," Yoongi notes as they head down a hall. "I think you'd find it very interesting given the points of work you will be doing with us." Seokjin nods enthusiastically.

"I would love to! Is it in hard copy or soft copy?" he asks as they enter another area of the floor. There are large floor to ceiling windows, office desk cubicles and offices, and the whole space wrapped around a corner Seokjin assumed to carry on further.

"Both, but I'll send you a soft copy when I get a chance," Yoongi says. "This is the third floor office area," he continues, leading Seokjin past some desks to one of the offices in a corner.

Seokjin looks around and waves to a couple of younger men who are staring at him from behind a desk partition. Yoongi knocks on the door of the office twice with one knuckle before opening the office door. "Hey Namjoon," he says, entering the office and gesturing Seokjin to join him. He goes in after Yoongi and spots Namjoon walking around behind his desk.

"Oh, good morning!" Namjoon greets once he spots Seokjin.

"Good morning!" Seokjin smiles, taking Namjoon's outstretched hand and bowing slightly as they shake hands. "I'm so sorry I'm late," he starts before Yoongi cuts him off.

"Yeah, I commandeered him a bit when we bumped into each other in the lobby." Yoongi smiles, glancing at Seokjin as if to say he'd cover for him. "He really knows his stuff Joon, you picked well" he continues almost cheekily and Namjoon rolls his eyes.

"I told you he was amazing," Namjoon says like Seokjin's not even in the room. "I'm not surprised you commandeered his time and made him late." Namjoon puts his hands on his waist as Yoongi puts his coffee on the small round table in Namjoon's office and shrugs off his jacket and scarf, revealing a white button up shirt whose sleeves he rolls up to his elbows.

Seokjin is momentarily distracted by how different Yoongi suddenly looks now that he's not swamped in a scarf and jacket. Namjoon sighs and faces the new starter with a dimpled smile. "Anyway, Welcome to our team," he says

"Happy to be here," Seokjin smiles brightly.

"I've got a meeting with this grump over here," Namjoon says and Yoongi merely shrugs and continues to drink his coffee, sitting on the table. "But I'll get Jungkook to show you your desk and settle you in before we meet to talk about your workload and working arrangements." As if on cue, the same boy from Seokjin’s interview pops his head into the office.

"Hey," he smiles cutely at Seokjin, two front teeth surprisingly prominent and making the older man want to coo and call him a bunny.

Namjoon gestures to the boy. "In case you don't remember, this is Jungkook; he's a trainee in my team who's also studying historic social relations while he works with us," the Director says proudly and Jungkook beams from the praise.

"Nice to see you again Jungkook," Seokjin greets and Jungkook bows in greeting.

"I'll show you around and stuff," he says and Seokjin waves goodbye to Yoongi and Namjoon before leaving the office and closing the door.

Jungkook leads Seokjin to a window desk beside Namjoon's office and informs Seokjin it's his new home.

Seokjin plops his stuff down on the desk and notes a folder with his name on it. "This is your induction pack," Jungkook says, opening the folder as Seokjin takes a seat. "It has your computer log on and all you need to know about what we have here and the basics of what you’ll be working on," he smiles. Seokjin thinks that Jungkook must be quite young with how he looks, but he's definitely got a sense of maturity about him.

"Thanks heaps," Seokjin says and starts to flick through the pages in the folder.

The younger man just smiles again and taps his pen mindlessly on the desk. "I'll let you get settled and do some reading before Jimin and I take you for a museum tour. I'm sure you've visited the museum before but this will be much more than the visitors get to see." Jungkook smirks before spinning around and pointing to a desk across the way near the door to Namjoon's office. "I'm over there if you need me," he says before leaving Seokjin to read and log onto his computer.

It's while Seokjin's reading one of the many emails from Namjoon filled with research points and items he wants Seokjin to work on that Yoongi finally emerges from Namjoon's office and gives the newbie a small wave as he passes by.

Five minutes later he receives an email with an attachment from Yoongi. It's reading said email that Seokjin reads the signature black and discovers Yoongi is actually a director like Namjoon.

It’s lunch time by the time Seokjin finally gets through all the reading material and sets up his emails and computer preferences. Seokjin thinks he'll forward the report Yoongi sent him to his personal email so he can read it at home that night. Suddenly two figures appear in Seokjin's vision and he greets Jungkook and another boy who looks older but is shorter than Jungkook.

"Seokjin, this is Jimin," Jungkook starts to introduce him. "He works in Yoongi's team and will be taking us for the museum tour," he says as he gestures to Jimin.

Jimin smiles one of the cutest smiles Seokjin has ever seen and it makes the older want to pinch his cheeks. But Seokjin's a professional and holds back the urge. "Nice to meet you Seokjin." Jimin bows. "As Jungkook said, I work in Yoongi's team. My job is maintaining and noting the butterfly and bug displays. We do have more staff that actually look after the bugs themselves but I make sure our information is always current and that when we get new pieces they are displayed appropriately and in the right spot." He explains happily. Seokjin can tell just by looking at Jimin that he loves what he does and is passionate about his work like everyone else Seokjin has met so far.

"Nice to meet you Jimin. I specialise in fossils and research report writing and am looking forward to working with you." Seokjin bows back with a smile of his own.

Jungkook shifts on his feet and gestures towards the exit. "Shall we go then?" He says. "We're obviously not going to get through everything today but we can at least show you a few things and introduce you to Tae before your meeting with Namjoon this arvo." Jimin and Seokjin nod in agreement and the three of them head out a door to the hall that leads to the elevators.

On the way, Jimin mentions that Namjoon promised the teams that he would introduce Seokjin to everyone on the floor after he was settled. Seokjin appreciates that. There's a lot to take in at the museum.

Since Seokjin is already very familiar with the museum’s layout, he suggests they keep the tour brief, and Jungkook and Jimin are happy to oblige and focus mainly on showing him the break room with the fridges and tea and coffee making facilities, and the secret staff-only access areas of the museum.

They're walking down one of the many long staff only hallways listening to Jungkook tell them about the current unit of his course when Jimin stops them at a set of double doors. The doors have 'storage room 2' written on one of them and Jimin opens one of the doors and ushers them inside.

The room is very large, filled with shelves and shelves of organised museum specimens. As they walk down one of the isles Seokjin can recognise some of the fossils ordered alphabetically by name; he assumes it's because the people who maintain the storage room wouldn't be able to group them by type or areas found. When they reach the back of the room Seokjin sees someone on a step stool peering into a tub on a shelf and mumbling to himself.

"Taetae!" Jimin calls into the room and the person on the step stool look over at them with a large almost boxy smile.

"Hey Chim and Kook! How are you?" he asks as they approach, pushing the tub back in and stepping down to greet them.

"Good, good!" Jimin says and Jungkook smiles brightly. "Seokjin, meet Taehyung." The shortest of the four gestures to Seokjin, and Taehyung only continues to smile. "Tae manages this storage room. There are others than work in here too but Tae is here most of the day; he's rarely up in the offices with us," Jimin explains and turns to Taehyung. "This is Seokjin, he's the new senior fossil specialist and research developer in Namjoon’s team."

"Ah," Taehyung nods in understanding. "Enjoying it so far?" he asks and Seokjin smiles.

"Definitely," he says. "It's only my first day here but everyone is really friendly. I'm really looking forward to working here." Seokjin admits, Jimin looks pleased and Jungkook nods in agreement.

After some brief small talk, Jungkook mentions that Seokjin’s meeting with Namjoon is soon and that they need to head back upstairs.

-

The three youngest — Seokjin assumes, since they all seem younger than him — are talking about the displays and how Yoongi has helped design most of them before he was even a director when they get back to the offices. A girl Seokjin vaguely recognises as the one who sits next to Jungkook outside Namjoon's office stands when she sees them.

"You're back!" She exclaims, mainly to Jungkook and Seokjin. "Namjoon is ready to meet with Seokjin now," she says politely.

"Thanks Nayeon." Jungkook quickly leads Seokjin back to Namjoon's office. Nayeon opens the door and gives Seokjin a smile not unlike Jungkook's.

The next thing Seokjin knows is he's in Namjoon's office with the door closed and Namjoon sitting at the small round table with a dimpled smile.

"Yeah," The Director starts. "Those two are ridiculously efficient at keeping me and my staff on time for meetings," he says, seemingly in response to Seokjin's confused expression.

"It's probably a good thing." Seokjin smiles and takes a seat across from Namjoon. There's already a jug of cold water and a couple of clean glasses on the table.

"Definitely," Namjoon says as he pours himself and Seokjin some water. "I'm not the most organised person in the world, I'd be lost without them." He smiles fondly.

Seokjin giggles and takes a sip of the offered drink as Namjoon opens his notebook to a blank page. "Now, let’s go over what I'd like you to work on."

Nayeon pops her head in at some point to tell Namjoon that he's got some briefings to have a look at before he goes home, and that it's nearly five and he shouldn't keep Seokjin late on his first day.

Seokjin tries not to think about how he was late this morning anyway, but Yoongi covered for him so he says nothing. Seokjin's filled at least two pages of his notebook with notes from Namjoon and action items when he finally leaves his office. Nayeon has left for the day and Jungkook pops into Namjoon's office as Seokjin returns to his desk to check his emails before packing up for the day.

Almost everyone has left by the time Seokjin finally slings his bag over his shoulder, ready to head home. He's surprised to see Yoongi all wrapped up in his coat leaning against the wall of Namjoon's office, phone in hand scrolling through his work emails. "Hey," the other man says, pocketing his phone and pushing himself off the wall.

"Hey," Seokjin says back with a smile, and the two walk to the elevator foyer together.

"How was your first day?" Yoongi asks as he presses the elevator button to go down.

"Tiring," Seokjin admits. "There's a lot to take in, but I'm excited," he continues as they wait.

"That's good." Yoongi says. "Namjoon can be a bit much at times and forgets what he's already given you so don't be afraid to push back a bit if it's too much." The elevator dings and one of the two open.

"Thanks," Seokjin says as they get in. "I'll keep that in mind."

He watches as Yoongi pulls his pass and lanyard out of his pocket to scan and select the ground floor. "I like your lanyard." Seokjin says. He didn't get a chance to tell Yoongi earlier that day with his nerves on high, but after seeing other staff members have the same rainbow ribbon like lanyard, he finally feels confident enough to say it. "Where did you get it? Mine’s not as cool." Seokjin stares at his own plain staff lanyard around his neck as the elevator starts going down.

Yoongi looks a little surprised as he stares at Seokjin for a moment and stuffs the lanyard into his pocket. "They were for a LGBTIQ thing we did a while ago. I can see if I can find you one?" the black haired man says.

Seokjin visibly lights up. "Could you?" he asks. "That would be amazing!" Yoongi just nods and the elevator arrives at the ground floor. The two walk in a comfortable silence to the museum main lobby exit and the two immediately have to go in opposite directions. "See you tomorrow Yoongi." Seokjin smiles.

"See you." Yoongi mumbles back, pulling his scarf up from a gust of cold wind.

Seokjin gets home in a good mood and cooks himself dinner before sitting down in his couch to watch a new series on Netflix that he's just started.

He sleeps really well that night, and finds a rainbow lanyard on his work desk the next morning.

-

Seokjin's been working quite well at the museum for a month when he gets an odd delegated meeting invite from Namjoon.

It's from Namjoon's email but the actual meeting chair is Yoongi. There's a note in the invite:

"Hi Seokjin

Namjoon will be unable to attend this meeting due to a big stakeholder meeting with the CEO. He wants you to go in his place.

Kind Regards,

Nayeon"

Seokjin accepts the invite and sends Nayeon a separate email asking if he needs to meet with Namjoon beforehand. Nayeon responds almost immediately and tells him not to worry and that he'll be fine. Hoseok, Yoongi’s bubbly EA that he met on his second day, will send the papers around and she will print a copy for him to take when they come through.

Jungkook is the one that delivers the papers to Seokjin the day before the meeting. "Knock knock," he says, pulling Seokjin's attention from his computer screen and handing the stack of papers over. "These are the papers for your meeting tomorrow with Yoongi and all that," he explains with a wave of his hand.

Seokjin takes the papers all neatly hole punched tabbed and in a slim black folder. "Thanks," he says, happy to have them in hard copy form. He's already read them from the email Hoseok sent him, but opening up the folder, he can see little sticky notes in Jungkook's neat handwriting.

Jungkook smiles his cute little bunny smile. "I just rewrote what Namjoon did so you could actually read it," he explains when Seokjin looks at him questioningly.

"Thanks heaps." Seokjin smiles back.

Seokjin reads everything again and takes in all the little notes that make everything make so much more sense. The papers indicate that a large portion of fossils have been donated to the museum and they are hoping to display them in an appealing but informative way. Seokjin rereads the list of fossils three times. Most are sea creatures and plants, but Seokjin feels like some of them don't fit together. Like the collection had acquired random fossils along the way that looked like they matched but are actually found in entirely different areas.

Maybe once the fossils arrive, Taehyung will let Seokjin help him tag and file them.

The next day starts fairly normally. The meeting isn't until 11 AM and Seokjin has enough time to eat an early lunch beforehand since the meeting will go for two hours and he's not sure he can go that long since breakfast.

Seokjin's flicking through the list of donated items once more when someone arrives at his desk. "Hey," Yoongi’s deep voice rumbles and Seokjin looks up with a slightly nervous smile.

"Morning," he says.

"You ready?" Yoongi asks, his own black folder in one hand and a pen spinning in the other. Seokjin finds his gaze unintentionally lingering on the director’s hand as his ringed fingers continue to spin the pen.

"Yeah." He breathes before standing up to follow Yoongi to the boardroom upstairs. Namjoon's meeting is off site so the room would be free for Yoongi's meeting.

"How do you feel about the list of fossils we've received?" Yoongi asks as they enter the hallway and head for the elevators.

Seokjin hums. "It's hard to say unless we get a good look at them, but they seem really out of order," he admits.

Yoongi's eyebrow raises and Seokjin can see a hint of a smile on his face. "Do you think that will impact the way we exhibit the pieces?" he pries. Seokjin feels like Yoongi may have already come to the same conclusion as himself and is just testing the waters to see if their opinions align.

"Yes and no," Seokjin says as they get in the elevator. "Based on the list we can organise them fine, we'll just have to assess the space we're planning to put them in to see how the best way to lay them out. Some are grouped while others are listed in what appears to be a random order."

"Because most people couldn't know they don’t actually match up since they don't know what they're looking for," Yoongi adds.

"Exactly." Seokjin smiles brightly. "These kinds of fossils often look like they match up but can be an entirely different species." The two share a smile between them as the elevator doors open. "Often people assume what they read on the internet and try to name and identify the specimens themselves."

"I'm glad Namjoon delegated this meeting to you," Yoongi says before they enter the boardroom.

Seokjin's nervous in the meeting, which discusses the space, the items to exhibit, the budget, and so on, but Yoongi, who's sitting next to him, gives most of the questions Seokjin wants to ask himself and gives him plenty of opportunities to express his opinions and his point of view.

The meeting goes well and a small team including Seokjin and Yoongi agree to meet again to collate ideas and distribute workloads. Seokjin and Yoongi decide they need to talk to Taehyung about seeing the fossils in person tomorrow to help with some solid ideas.

"You did well," Yoongi says before they part ways near Namjoon's office.

"I'm glad." Seokjin lets out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding. "I was worried I was too out of my depth."

"Not at all," Yoongi assures him. "Those meetings are hard in general and you did really well despite the scrutiny."

Seokjin remembers how well Yoongi chaired the meeting and how firm he was with his responses. It was amazing, seeing the director in action like that, as opposed to Hoseok’s lunch stories about Yoongi never opening his office curtains, and catching Yoongi asleep at his desk after lunch when he brings the black haired director some coffee.

"Thank you Yoongi," Seokjin smiles gratefully at Yoongi who adverts his eyes with a nod and heads to his office.

When Seokjin gets home he finally looks at his phone to see at least 50 messages in the group chat between Seokjin and his two closest friends.

Group: The 92 Bumbkins

Ken doll:

I had a weird dream.

Sandy:

what happened?

Ken doll:

Jin and I were taken on vacation at some beach by Snape. He spent most of his time in his huge black robes fishing with sunnies on.

While me and jin were just like, hanging out at the back, chillin in the water.

And Snape's just. Fishing.

NEXT MINUTE WE'RE ALL HAVING A FANCY DINNER IN SOME RESTAURANT AND WE'RE ALL REALLY CONFUSED BECAUSE HEY WHERE'S THE SAUCE FOR THIS DISH MY FOODS NAKED

AND SUDDENLY SOME LADY IS LADLING OUT SAUCE INTO BOWLS FOR EVERYONE

AND THERE WAS A SIGN SOMEWHERE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ATTEND THE ACADEMY NEXT DOOR MAKING A MESS EVERY TIME THEY USE THE SPACE

AND SUDDENLY WE'RE BACK AT THE BEACH AND SNAPES ON A JET SKI WHILE ME AND JIN ARE SWIMMING THROUGH SEA SLUGS

and for some reason the world freezes over and we're running through a massive shopping centre and Jin's like JAEHWAN HERE ARE SOME SOCKS.

Sandy:

lmao sounds fun.

Jin's actually here??:

Why am I always in your dreams? Is there something you're not telling me?

Sandy:

Jin!

Ken doll:

JIN!!!

YOU'RE HERE! MY LOVE!

Oh yes I'm actually gay for you.

Jin's actually here??:

I thought it was the ice cream you were gay for.

Ken doll:

Yeah, sorry, can't break up with the ice cream.

Sandy:

How was work Jin?

Jin's actually here??:

Good. Was in a big meeting today about a new exhibit we're doing. I can already tell it's gonna be a lot of work. But I'm excited.

Seokjin puts his phone on the kitchen bench as he starts preparing dinner for himself. His phone vibrates against the table as Jaehwan and Sandeul continue to send messages to the group chat.

He's looking forward to the project.

-

"This is labelled wrong." Seokjin muses as he looks at the fossil Taehyung has gotten out for them.

Seokjin and Yoongi had gone downstairs to the storage area to find Taehyung and ask to see the new set of sea fossils. When they'd gotten there Taehyung was rearranging butterfly species according to a piece of paper in his hand with looked a lot like Jimin's hand writing, an empty tall Starbucks frozen drink cup on his little bench where his notebook lies open and where the remaining butterfly cases are stacked. Seokjin heard Yoongi mumble something about drinks in the storage room as Taehyung put his list down to pull out some of the fossils they'd requested to see.

"Wrong?" Taehyung questions with a tilt of his head. "It came in like that. I didn't touch any of the labels." He puts his hands up in mock surrender.

"It's an easy mistake though," Seokjin explains. "See this here?" He points to the ripples in the rock around the actual fossil. "The groves are spaced too close together for this to be from the deep sea. They've labelled it as a purely deep sea species. Common mistake given this looks similar to the deep sea one."

Yoongi grins at Seokjin. "Nice pick up," he says.

Seokjin feels his cheeks heat. "Well I do have a degree in this stuff," he dismisses, taking the sticky note pad and pen from Taehyung’s outstretched hand and noting down the actual fossil name.

"True." Yoongi says as he looks to Taehyung and asks him to pull out the next set.

After scrutinising the rest of the collection, with Yoongi fixing any wrong dates and Seokjin labeling correct areas of the sea, the two finally leave Taehyung in peace around lunch time.

"Thanks heaps Taehyung," Seokjin says and Yoongi nods in agreement. They open the door to the store room only to find Jimin about to open the door himself, brown paper bag in his hand that he promptly hides behind his back upon seeing his director.

"Heeeyyyy," Jimin says trying to slide past them inconspicuously.

"Hi Jimin." Seokjin just smiles, playing ignorant.

Yoongi glares at the hand behind Jimin's back. "Don't spend too long in here Jimin." He says. "I'm sure you have plenty of work to be doing."

Jimin just grins at the two as he closes the door to the storeroom. "It's lunch time Yoongi! Don't worry about me!"

Seokjin giggles as the door closes and Yoongi shakes his head. "Let's get some brainstorming done now that we have a better idea of what we're working with," the director says as he starts to head down the hall.

Seokjin walks next to Yoongi. "I'll get started on how we can group the fossils and some basic explanations," he says.

Yoongi nods and looks at his work phone. "I have a couple of meetings this afternoon but I'll try get some basic indicators of the space and the entrances and exits."

"We'll also probably have to brief Namjoon and the CEO," Seokjin muses.

"Remember to use my team to help out if you need," Yoongi says. "You kinda got roped into this."

"I don't mind." Seokjin smiles. "But I also know not to push myself," he continues. "I'll ask for help where I need it."

The two walk in a comfortable silence back to the offices, passing through the museum’s main hall and seeing the museum visitors mill around.

They say goodbye only when they pass Seokjin's desk, where Seokjin gets his lunch and heads to the break room. There, he finds Hoseok talking animatedly to Jungkook and Momo, who both look very entranced by whatever story the EA is telling. Seokjin sits with them and they chat about things completely unrelated to work.

Once back at his desk, Seokjin writes a quick note to brief Namjoon and sends it to Yoongi for proofreading. Yoongi sends it back the next day with only a couple of amendments.

Once the brief is given to Nayeon to pass on to Namjoon, Seokjin starts his work with fossil grouping and explanations. He talks with members of Yoongi's team about the project and is exhausted by the end of the week.

Seokjin orders take out on Friday night and gets it delivered right to his apartment door. He joins a group call between Sandeul and Jaehwan over dinner and lazily scrolls through social media before retiring to bed.

-

Seokjin’s on the floor above his own late on a Friday afternoon, looking at the meeting rooms available. He needs to book a room for a meeting but didn't know how many people the rooms on the museums booking system can hold, so he figured he'd come have a look himself.

He's passing the second room when the door opens and a few people come out followed by Yoongi.

"Hey," Seokjin says a little awkwardly when they make eye contact. He tries not to stare at the director who somehow still looks good on a Friday at 3pm.

"Hi," Yoongi returns with a faint smile. "What are you doing up here?" he asks.

Seokjin snaps himself back to reality, away from thoughts about how the top two buttons of Yoongi’s shirt are undone. He can’t deny he’s always thought of Yoongi as attractive. "Ah, just looking for a good meeting room for Monday. Nayeon’s gone home and the booking system doesn't really give a good indication of how many people you can fit in a room," he admits.

Yoongi nods in understanding. "How many people?" he asks. "I can show you the ones on this floor you can book. There one that's not on the system and you have to book it with a little diary out the front."

Seokjin’s eyes widen. "Really? That would be amazing," he says. "We're looking at 7 people."

Yoongi leads Seokjin around a corner and the two bump into Sana and Hoseok on their way. "Oh, hello!" Hoseok says cheerfully. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Hey," Seokjin greets.

"What are you guys doing up here?" Sana asks, looking between them. "We're searching the kitchen for newspapers. Momo and Dahyun are making collages for some project they're doing," she explains and Hoseok nods.

Yoongi is the one who answers. "We’re just looking for a room," he says flatly. Seokjin nods but Sana and Hoseok exchange glances before Hoseok giggles and Sana covers her mouth to try to stop herself from laughing.

"Looking for a room, eh?" Hoseok giggles.

"I don't think you'll find one here." Sana says looking between them and Hoseok breaks into outright cackles.

Yoongi rolls his eyes at the two. "That's not what I meant."

Suddenly Seokjin gets the implication the two got from Yoongi’s choice of words and feels his whole face flush up to his ears. "Oh my god." He laughs more out of embarrassment than anything.

"Sorry Yoongi." Hoseok apologies half-heartedly when he finally stops laughing. "It was just the way you said it."

"Yeah, yeah, hurry up and get your newspaper," Yoongi grumbles before leading Seokjin away. They reach decent sized meeting room with the diary out front like Yoongi described. Seokjin flicks to Monday's date and is happy to find it not booked for the time he needs.

Once booked the two silently return downstairs, not mentioning the misunderstanding with Sana and Hoseok.

They're only two months into the six-month project when Seokjin starts to work with Yoongi more closely. He's in the director’s office every other day and they've even started to take lunch breaks together. Seokjin doesn't mind. He likes Yoongi's company. They've got three base plans down and are running it by Jihyo's area for notes on the finance side of things to make sure they keep within the budget. Jihyo is the remaining director on their floor who manages the museum finances and costing of repairs and expenditures.

Seokjin's sitting at his desk typing up a brief separate to the exhibit project when he sees an email from Yoongi come through. Seokjin's heart suddenly skips a beat when he notices he's the only recipient and it's the director asking about another research report he'd sent him to read. Despite feeling a little confused about his heart’s sudden skip, Seokjin responds immediately, leaving the sentence on his brief unfinished as he explains how he really enjoyed the report and, yes, he did notice that Yoongi was the one who wrote it a year back. He rereads his email and presses Send before returning to his brief.

An hour later, Hoseok and Jimin turn up at Seokjin's desk. "Hey Seokjin," Jimin says, and the older man looks over to see both of them smiling at him.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Seokjin asks, saving his work before turning fully to the two.

Jimin practically sits on Seokjin's desk. "Wanna help us exchange some of the butterflies out?"

Seokjin looks at the clock; it's quarter to 5 already. "When the museum closes?" Seokjin asks.

"Yeah," Hoseok says. "We know you go home at 5 but we could really use the extra hand," he explains.

"Please, Seokjin!" Jimin pleads. "We usually ask Kookie but he needs to leave early today."

The two give Seokjin two sets of puppy eyes that makes him sigh in defeat. "Okay, okay. I'll help you guys out."

The two cheer loudly and quickly drag Seokjin down to one of the storerooms. Inside, Taehyung is sifting through the files in one of the draws of the large filing cabinets that line most of one wall apart from his small desk with a light and desk phone.

"Tae!" Jimin calls as they enter, moving to slump on the younger man’s back.

"Hey Chim," Taehyung replies, not looking away from where he's flicking through files. "Sorry I can't help. Someone's messed with the files and things are out of order. I need to fix this tonight or I won't be able to find anything for the scientist we have coming in tomorrow morning," he explains.

Seokjin watches the two as Hoseok looks around the room.

"It's okay, I get it," Jimin says fondly and slides off Taehyung’s back. The other man holds one finger on the file he's looking at before turning his gaze to his best friend.

"Thanks." He smiles. "It also means I'll probably be home late tonight so don't wait up," he says before moving a hand to Jimin's cheek and giving him a quick kiss.

Oh. More than best friends then.

Jimin giggles and Seokjin makes himself look away towards Hoseok, who's watching him and smiles when they make eye contact.

Only a couple of seconds later, Jimin is with them again, helping pull out a couple of the display cases and giving two each to Seokjin and Hoseok and one for himself. Seokjin can see why they needed the extra person. The cases are heavy and filled with fragile butterfly species that they need to carry all the way to the bug displays, since Jimin has mentioned that he doesn’t trust the trolleys.

On the way there they pass by the large anaconda skin and bones display that makes Hoseok shift behind Seokjin and whisper curses at Jimin for leading them past it. Jimin merely smiles cheekily at Hoseok who can't do anything since he's holding butterflies. "It's the quickest way," he shrugs knowingly.

They get to the display in one piece and Jimin places his own case down to unlock a door that leads them behind the display to access the butterflies.

"So," Hoseok starts as Jimin unlocks one of the cases they've laid out on the floor. "How’s the new fossil exhibit project going?" he asks. "You and Yoongi have been in a lot of meetings together lately."

Seokjin watches Jimin delicately take out one of the display butterflies and replace it with an almost identical one. "I think it's going well." Seokjin says. "It's all with Jihyo's team so we've got a bit of time to work on other things while we wait for it to come back."

"Enough time to send each other reports to read for fun?" Hoseok smirks and even Jimin looks up from what he's doing to smile at them.

"Yoongi's sending his reports to you?" he asks Seokjin.

Seokjin feels his cheeks heat and he frowns half-heartedly at the two. "Yeah, I've also sent him reports I've written too," he says suspiciously. "I forget you see all his emails," he turns to Hoseok.

"Yeah, I do." Hoseok smiles.

"But that's pretty cool how he sends you his reports." Jimin says. "He's never sent anyone other than Namjoon his reports. And that's because they’re both directors," he explains.

Seokjin looks at them in confusion. "Really?" He asks.

"Yeah," Hoseok says. "You're special."

Seokjin shrugs off the quickened pace of his heart and watches Jimin replace more butterflies, vaguely thinking that he can almost feel them flutter in his own stomach.

-

With the sudden realisation that okay, maybe Seokjin does have a bit of a crush on Yoongi, he feels almost watched at work. Even though he hasn’t told anyone but his two best friends.

Hoseok has been winking at him every time he goes into Yoongi's office for a meeting either on his own or with others. Namjoon has even been not so subtly looking between the two when Yoongi stops by Seokjin's desk personally to give him something after meeting with the other director. And Jimin has been outright telling him random facts about Yoongi just to see Seokjin’s reaction.

Seokjin ignores it as their plans come back from Jihyo and they can get back to work on it.

By the end of the third month working on the project, Seokjin has mastered acting indifferent in front of his newly acquired work crush.

-

"Where are you going, Jimin?" Yoongi asks as Jimin walks past where he and Seokjin are pouring over a flow chart Namjoon drew over in his messy-genius scrawl.

Seokjin sees the boy in question jump slightly. "Me? Nowhere. Just came back from the cafe. That's all," he says, not looking at Yoongi who's still looking at the plans while Seokjin eyes the two vastly different-looking drinks in Jimin's hands. One was a mixture of pink and blue with whipped cream and sprinkles on top while the other looked just like a typical iced coffee.

"With two drinks?" Yoongi questions.

Jimin shifts a little. "I'm really thirsty," he says, taking a step in the direction opposite to his desk. Seokjin silently raises an eyebrow and looks to Yoongi, who finally faces Jimin.

"Just," he sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Don't go spilling them, please."

Jimin smiles brightly, his eyes turning into crescents. "We're always careful, Boss!" he says before turning and leaving quickly down the hall towards the elevator, obviously heading for the storage room. Neither of the two who return to the plans bother to mention that he said "we're" instead of "I'm".

-

"Hey Hoseok." Seokjin leans against Hoseok’s desk partition as he addresses the EA.

"What up? You going out?" Hoseok asks, probably in reference to Seokjin’s jacket and scarf.

Seokjin smiles, trying to seem casual as he toys with his scarf. "I'm going to get some coffee before Yoongi and I go to the exhibit space and run though plans," he starts, and Hoseok’s face lights up in realisation, but he grins and waits for Seokjin to continue. "And I was wondering if you could tell me Yoongi's coffee order so I can get him one too?" the fossil specialist asks.

"It's been a few hours since his morning coffee so he'll be holding out for one once he comes out of this meeting." Hoseok hums, grin not leaving his face as Seokjin tries not to blush under his gaze. "Americano," the EA finally says and Seokjin files the information away in his brain and hopes to never forget it.

"Thanks heaps Hobi!" Seokjin sings as he stands up straight, ready to head off. "Do you want anything?" he adds almost like an afterthought.

Hoseok waves his hand and holds up his personal mug with a picture of Jimin and Taehyung on it. Seokjin doesn't know the story behind the mug but he's assuming from what he knows that it would have been the two on the mug who got it for him. "Nah, I have my tea!"

Seokjin spins on his heels and gives Hoseok a wave as he heads out the offices and to the elevators.

After getting the coffees, Seokjin tries his best not to skip back to the office, his own coffee and Yoongi’s Americano in his hands. Hoseok is humming what Seokjin vaguely recognises as a popular girl group song under his breath when Seokjin gets back, and there are voices near the door of Yoongi’s office. Soon enough, the door opens and three people come out still trying to talk to Yoongi, who is ever so subtly encouraging them to leave.

Yoongi doesn’t spot Seokjin at first and heaves a sigh once the people who came from his office are out of sight. Seokjin can't help but giggle at the director’s obvious sign of relief. Yoongi almost jumps when he hears the other man, his eyes wide when he looks at Seokjin. "You're here already?"

Seokjin nods and holds out Yoongi’s coffee while he takes a quick sip of his own. "You look like you need this," he says. A faint pink dusts the director’s cheeks as he takes the offered coffee.

"I do , thank you." Yoongi gives Seokjin a small smile that makes the taller man’s heart skip a beat. Seokjin tells his heart to stop. He needs to work with Yoongi on the project, not be distracted by how much he's growing fond of the director.

Yoongi heads black into the office to get his copy of all the papers they have for the project, and Hoseok merely smiles at Seokjin who is trying not to heave a sigh himself. Seokjin isn't sure how Hoseok and Jimin have seemed to realise he likes Yoongi. Seokjin is sure he hasn't been obvious at all, but he must be easier to read than he thought…

Let's go snowboarding this weekend.

Sandy:

I'm in.

Jin's actually here??:

I'll find my board.

-

Seokjin comes into work positively glowing; he's had a great weekend with his friends. Even Jimin mentions it when Seokjin comes by his desk covered in spare butterfly specimens.

-

“Why are you still here?”

Seokjin's gaze snaps up from where he’s been studying his work laptops screen, to see none other than Yoongi standing at the kitchen areas entrance with an empty coffee cup in hand. “Namjoon gave me some feedback on my final set of descriptions for the fossils and I wanted to get the edits done while is still fresh in my mind.” he admits. “Apparently I’m still being too technical and kids won’t understand.” Seokjin squints at his screen again and he hears Yoongi let out a chuckle as he enters the room to make himself more coffee.

The time in the corner of Seokjin's computer screen says it's a little past 7 in the evening and he really should be eating dinner by now. “Coffee?” Yoongi's voice sounds from near the coffee machine.

Seokjin lifts the mug next to him. “Nah I've got-” he stops with the realisation the remainder of his coffee is now cold. “Actually yeah, I could go for a refill.” Seokjin gets up from his spot, tipping the rest of his cold drink down the sink and rinsing the cup before putting it in Yoongi’s outstretched palm. He rubs his sore eyes and watches the director make their coffee.

“Wait one moment.” Yoongi puts Seokjin’s now full cup in his hands and leaves the kitchen only to come back with his own laptop as his cup fills with hot caffeine.

The two sit next to each other at the table Seokjin is set up at and work on their task together until Seokjin's stomach can’t handle it any longer. Seokjin’s stomach lets out an unruly growl indicating he needs to go home and eat.

They seperate at the museum entrance with warm smiles and soft goodnights.

-

Yoongi and Seokjin end up having a few late nights together in the third floor kitchen and eating area as their work comes to an end and the send all the new exhibit plans to the CEO. The CEO luckily has no further changes as they had send him plenty of updates over the four months and work on actually building the exhibit can finally begin.

-

During the two months the exhibit is actually being built, Seokjin and Yoongi don't see each other as often. But they sometimes check out how that builders are going and still have lunch together if time allows.

It’s during moments like this when they're suddenly together that make Seokjin a bit more nervous than usual…

It takes two months for the exhibit to finally be finished. Seokjin and Yoongi are overjoyed that it managed to get completed within their 6 month timeframe. The exhibit looks amazing, Seokjin and Yoongi are right there thanking the builders the moment everything is finished and inspecting the area to make sure everything is perfect. They’re positively beaming when everything is as planned. All Seokjin’s fossil descriptions are right, all Yoongi’s interactive displays are working, the colours Jimin has helped pick fit well together and even Jungkook's idea for lighting is well done.

“It’s all perfect,” Seokjin breathes in awe as he looks around the area for the millionth time.

“It’s a good feeling isn’t it?” Yoongi gives Seokjin a gummy smile and the other man cant stop himself from suddenly hugging the director.

Yoongi Stiffens for a moment before hugging Seokjin back tightly. They seperate quickly, Seokjin’s ears are red and Yoongi adverts his gaze. “Sorry,” the fossil specialist mumbles quickly. “I got a bit excited.”

“It’s okay,” Yoongi's voice is rough and his cheeks are growing red, the two stand in silence for a moment just smiling shyly at each other.

“Wooooooooow!” Hoseok’s voice interrupts, making Seokjin and Yoongi snap their gazes over to the areas entrance to see Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and even Namjoon enter.

“This looks amazing!” Taehyung exclaims and Jimin and Jungkook hum in agreement as they look around.

Namjoon pats both Seokjin and Yoongi on the back in praise. “You two did well coordinating all thing.”

Seokjin feels his heart swell, he’s so happy to have this job.

-

A few days later a calendar invite from the CEO pops up in Seokjin's emails. Its an all staff event to celebrate the new exhibits official opening to the public next week. Seokjin accepts the invite immediately, hels been feeling giddy ever since its been finished.

Seokjin watches as the CEO addresses all of the museum employees in the large hall filled with white table clothed tables and flowers all set beautifully in the centre of each table. Seokjin is sitting with Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook. Yoongi and Namjoon are at another table with other directors including Jihyo and the CEO himself before he left for his speech.

The CEO speaks about the museum receiving the large donation of fossils now in their new exhibit, and all the hard work put in by the museum staff. According to the CEO, this has been their biggest development in the last five years and he was very proud of everyone involved. "Yoongi," the CEO says suddenly, looking to the black haired director at the table two away from Seokjin. "Can you please tell us a bit about the project?" It’s more of a demand than a question and Yoongi doesn’t look the slightest bit nervous as he gets out of his seat to head to the microphone.

Seokjin's eyes unintentionally linger on Yoongi's suit-clad form and Hoseok nudges him playfully. "Stop it, Hobi!" Seokjin whispers.

"He looks good in a proper suit and tie though, right?" Hoseok wriggles his eyebrows suggestively. The older man splutters and smacks the assistant’s arm, making the other three at the table suppress their giggles.

The sound of shuffling from the microphone fills the room and brings all attention to the Director at the podium.

Yoongi starts a speech that while was most likely scripted sounded genuine and well-thought-out. He mentions all the work and late nights the team put in, along with a small amount of their troubles. Yoongi lists the people who helped the most with the project and Seokjin's heart may have fluttered when his name was first on the list and the director made eye contact with him.

Yoongi thanks everyone for their hard work and support, adding that he is glad people are enjoying the new exhibit.

After his speech, Seokjin feels Yoongi's eyes on him a lot during the dinner. He can't help but glance at the black haired man from time to time. Even though dinner and desert are amazing, Seokjin can't get past the heat from Yoongi's gaze.

The tables are being cleared and severals employees are leaving when Yoongi and Namjoon can finally join the rest of them at their table. "Your speech was great," Seokjin says as Yoongi comes up beside him.

The director has a small smile on his face, giving Seokjin a slight once over. "And you're looking really nice in your suit." Yoongi said.

Seokjin feels his face flush slightly but doesn't shy away. "You look nice too." Seokjin smiles back. The tension between them is thick as they stare at one another. They'd been delicately stepping around something so obvious between them for so long, and they both knew it.

"Hey guys!" Hoseok’s voice pulls them away from one another. "We're gonna go to a nearby bar and have a couple celebratory drinks. You two coming?" The small group are looking at them expectantly.

Seokjin smiles and Yoongi shakes his head but can’t hide his own smile. "Sounds fun," the taller man agrees.

The seven of them end up ordering the strangest looking and named drinks at the bar. Seokjin ends up with something frozen and pink with a flower in a large wine glass. Yoongi's drink is in a tall glass and is layered in different shades of red with ice on top.

Most of the others are more than tipsy. Hoseok is dancing on the dance floor, loose armed and surprisingly coordinated for how drunk he is. Jimin and Taehyung are in the corner speaking lowly to each other, a half-empty piña colada between them. Jungkook looks to be reciting notes off his phone to a very entranced looking Namjoon, whose own drink sits forgotten to the side of the table the seven of them were squished at together earlier when they were sharing four massive pizzas between them.

"Can I eat this?" Seokjin asks Yoongi, who's sitting next to him on the other side of the table to Namjoon and Jungkook. Seokjin is looking into his glass at the flower he's toying with with his straw.

Yoongi has actually been watching Seokjin for a while and they've been subtly complimenting each other over the new exhibit. "I think so." The black haired man says. "Why would they put it in there otherwise?" He takes a sip of what remains of his own drink.

"You have a point," Seokjin says, before using the straw to scoop the flower out and pop it into his mouth. Yoongi laughs as Seokjin’s expression sours and he quickly drinks the remnants of his pink frozen drink. "Nope. Not doing that again." He places the glass down with a clunk and shakes his head, scrunching up his face.

Yoongi chuckles and glances around the bar before returning his gaze to Seokjin's.

Seokjin is a little startled. He'd admittedly been staring at the director. Yoongi's lips are red from his drink and he kind of wants to kiss him. He doesn't, of course, but Yoongi smirks and stands from his seat. "I’m going outside for some fresh air. Care to join me?" he says.

Seokjin nods quickly and stands up himself. The other two at the table barely notice them leave and head out the back door.

Seokjin breathes in the fresh cold air as soon as they step outside. It's so much nicer than the stuffy bar. "I don't often go to bars." Seokjin sighs as the door closes behind them, and he looks for a free seat in the outside seating area. Their breaths are fogging up ever so slightly as they pick a seat and sit side by side. There are only a couple of drunk people on the other side of the area.

"Me neither," Yoongi admits. "I often end up bringing some stuff home and sleeping," he says and Seokjin giggles.

"You know, I'm not surprised," Seokjin says. "I have some close friends I go out with. But we're not bar kinds of people." Seokjin leans back on the bench and looks up at the sky. It’s clear, but you can never see many stars from the city.

They fall into a comfortable silence and it’s times like these when Seokjin thinks he and the director are quite compatible. He knows there's something between them. There has been for a while. They both knew. But neither has taken the step to actually do anything.

Yoongi lets out a sigh, breaking the silence, and while Seokjin doesn't move he's paying attention. "Seokjin," the black haired man breathes. Seokjin hums in acknowledgment and moves his gaze to the director. The glint in Yoongi's eyes is undeniable and Seokjin wants nothing more than to kiss him. He licks his lips and Yoongi's gaze follows the motion.

Seokjin's not sure who moves first (something tells him it was himself being impatient), but soon there's a brief kiss shared between them. Nothing more than a peck of lips that makes them both sigh in almost-relief before connecting their lips again. This time it’s harder, and they move to press against each other on the bench. Yoongi's fingers come up to Seokjin’s hair as Seokjin grips the director’s shirt, creating wrinkles in the fabric.

Nothing in the kiss is fast. It's slow and languid and has Yoongi's tongue massaging and melding with Seokjin's own. Eventually, when breathing through their noses isn't enough, they separate. Both are breathing heavily and Seokjin can feel Yoongi's heart beat as quickly as his own. They rest their foreheads together as they catch their breath. "I think it's time we stopped dancing around this," Seokjin whispers between them. "We're not working as closely anymore."

Yoongi gives a breathless laugh. "I'd like that. Wanna go for coffee tomorrow?" he asks and Seokjin laughs himself.

"I'd love to."

-

Bonus:

"We really shouldn't be doing this." Seokjin sighs as Yoongi trails kisses down his neck. They're in the director’s office, Seokjin backed up against one of the walls with Yoongi's thigh between both of his own. "What if Hobi catches us?" Seokjin's breath hitches as Yoongi bites down on a sensitive spot on his neck.

The only thing separating them from said EA is the frosted glass of Yoongi's office windows. But both of them know that Hoseok would walk right in if he thought something was going on. They've been keeping their new relationship hushed up for nearly two months. Yoongi detaches from Seokjin's neck to kiss him on the mouth, making the taller man melt into him. "At least then he'd stop leaving notes in my calendar every time we 'catch up' to just ask you out," Yoongi mumbles against Seokjin’s lips, making the brunette giggle.

"And Jimin would stop bugging me too," Seokin says, wrapping his arms around the director’s neck and tilting his head to kiss him better. Yoongi's hands tightly grip Seokjin's small waist over his shirt  as he presses more of himself against the other man, making them both sigh into each other's mouths.

They're too wrapped up in each other to hear Hoseok talking to someone just outside the door. Suddenly the door opens and the two separate their lips and turn their heads enough to see Hoseok, Namjoon and Jungkook all standing in the doorway.

It only takes a few seconds for Hoseok to break out into a full on scream of excitement.
