Every time I think that I have read every imaginable love story possible for this fandom, I come across something brilliant, and touching, and heart-rending like this. This is a work that made me cry, and laugh, and then cry, and then smile poignantly into darkness during a 35 minute commute home. Then I had to listen to it again, and was shocked to realize that the indomitable Consulting_smartass had left a podficcer's note at the end. Then I had to cry all over again because she said that she had, and then so on. Basically, bring a lot of tissue when you read or listen, or do both. Bravo.

I haven't cried so much for years. A beautiful story, yes, and one that I will be also saving the actual written version of, but this was beautifully read and brought even more emotion and depth to it than mere written words could convey. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
