Villain Alias : Sekhmet

Summary:

The USJ attack was the day the League of Villains made their name. A small army of villains broke in and attacked students and staff alike.

On that day, one particular villain made her name known to the people of Japan. One who would go on to become the most dangerous villain in the world.

The left hand of All For One, Sekhmet.
Her real name? Midoriya Izumi.

First year student of UA's Gen Ed department. Graduate of Orudera middle school, loving daughter of Midoriya Inko and a dangerous teenage villain.

Notes:

Hi there! Thank you for giving this work a chance.

After reading as many villain!deku works as I have, you start to see patterns and repetition. The struggle is usually to resolve the fact that deku would never be a willing villain so most stories are either OOC, forced villain or a slow burn into villainy.

I had my own ideas about why deku would become a villain that I decided to delve into. Bear in mind that it involves some OFA headcanon ideas but I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Chapter 1: A Shigaraki to remember.

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

"If I could give a quirk, would you take it?"

Nothing could have prepared an 6 year old Midoriya Izumi for that question. The man been kind to her, had complimented her drive to be a hero despite being quirkless. He applauded her analytical skills when he read her hero journal. He told her she was gifted, had talents worth nurturing.

And now she was in his office, his domain. Her mother was above corporal punishment but Izumi felt she deserved a smack for walking into this situation.

But this man didn't want to harm her, he hadn't threatened her. He explained his powers then offered her a quirk. The man had treated her seriously and spoken to her like an adult.

She didn't lie to him, "Yes, I would."

The man smiled, It was soft and caring

*

Me: I'm not feeling well so I won't be coming in. I've told the school so don't worry.

Hitoshi: Got it, hope you feel better soon, I'll make sure you get the homework.

Me: Ty <3

Hitoshi: Np <3

Aizawa could feel the malice before he could see it.

Having spent so many hours in the ire of murderers and villains, he has developed an intuitive sense for danger. It was never a surefire ability but it paid to be paranoid.

Of all the times and places he didn't want it to be right was this morning in the USJ.

He looked from the entrance down onto the central plaza and caught sight of the portal as it opened.

"Everyone get back!" he shouted.

He didn't check for their reaction, he never took his eyes off the portal as it opened. A man covered in hands stepped out. He was followed by a lumbering bird headed monster, a short woman in a green lioness mask and a growing swarm of villains.

*

As she stepped through the portal she quickly aligned herself with her mental map of the facility. She soon saw the hero Eraserhead who was putting himself between them and his students.

"I don't see All-Might" said Izumi.

Tomura groaned in complaint and took to lightly scratching his neck.

"He was supposed to be here. So where is he?" Tomura exclaimed.

She wondered the same thing as she saw Eraserhead make his way down the steps to the plaza.

"Oh well, I bet he'll show up if we threaten his students." said Tomura.

She balked at the thought of any of them ending up dead. She was thankful sensei had her on this mission, no one was getting murdered if she had any say in it.

She began her task immediately. She retrieved the folding chair she had given the Nomu to carry and deployed it before in front of the fountain. She switched on her radio.

"Everybody, check-in."

One by one, her teams called in, each was assigned to one of the six testing zones. Fire zone, flood zone, landslide, ruins, conflag zone, mountain zone.

She never got tired of being a leader. She had made examples of those who had challenged her and now she was firmly at the helm. Though, Tomura was in charge of this operation. An annoying fact.

Speaking of whom. Tomura watched as his personal team made a fool of themselves. They outnumbered the lone hero at least 30 to. But they attacked piecemeal, in groups of three or less.

It might not have occurred to him to give orders.

"Kurogiri, the teams are ready. Tomura, where are your orders?"

Not what, but where. She loved teasing him because he was technically her underling despite age and gender differences, facts that annoyed Tomura to no end.

He made another loud groan but didn't grace her with even a glance.

"They're wearing him down, once he's tired I'll put him down myself."

She rolled her eyes to heaven. "Okay fine but how about I make a suggestion?"

He turned his head and looked at her over his left shoulder. "What?"

*

Todoroki Shoto watched the battle intently, not paying attention to the outbursts of Bakugo or the worried murmurs of Uraraka.

He looked at the villain's back row and squinted. The guy covered in hands was a foreboding sight but the villain next to him was a curiosity.

They were quite short, wore a crop top and jean shorts over a large red coat with gold fur lining. Covering their whole head was a green lioness mask.

Avl villain casually reclining in the heat of battle was a bizarre sight.

It was then he noticed that the mist villain was missing.

He heard the tell tale whoosh behind him and saw the villain's body was totally blocking the entrance.

"Greetings, I am Kurogiri. We are the League Of Villains and we have come to kill the Symbol Of Peace." announced Kurogiri.

Thirteen readied themselves for battle but Kirishima and Bakugo jumped in at the worst moment to attack him. Thirteen and the others called them back but it was too late.

Darkness descended upon him. Shoto felt the world disappear from under his feet.

He fell into darkness before landing hard on the ground.

He quickly forced himself up only to see he was surrounded by villains in the ruins zone.

He heard a grunt of pain behind him and realised that Hagakure and Koda had been sent here with him.

"How about you kids come quietly so no one gets hurt?"

He couldn't tell which villain had called out to him. He estimated that he was surrounded by at least 20 villains.

"You can't ice the whole field with your friends in the way." shouted one of the villains.

The mob laughed softly at them.

"What do we do Todoroki?! We're surrounded." exclaimed a flighty Hagakure.

The villain's must have suspected he would cover the whole field in ice like he had done in the battle trial, could they have known? Was there a spy in UA?

In any case, putting his allies in the way made sense. His quirk worked best at range and with lots of clearance.

But when your back is to the wall...

"Hagakure, Koda, forgive me."

The villains look at him confused and we're caught off guard when he did actually cover the whole field on ice. Trapped, they let out a collective cry of shock.

"Todoroki you meany you got us to!" complained Hagakure.

He turned to see both Koda and Hagakure up to their necks in ice. He curtly apologised and released them. Then he turned back to the villains.

"You said you were planning on killing All-Might, how did you plan on doing that?" he asked one villain.

"I ain't telling you shit kid!" he whine.

"Ruins team, check in" said a voice muffled by static.

The voice interrupted his train of thought. He inspected the man and noticed he had an earpiece which was plugged into a radio on his chest.

With minimal effort, he pried off just enough ice from the villain to steal the radio. He slipped on the ear piece and familiarized himself with the device.

Tooru and Koda came over to him and asked what he had found.

"Ruins team I told you to sound off

The voice was distinctly feminine, he suspected the green masked villain might be the one talk to him.

He looked to Koda and to the general location of Hagakure's head before he answered.

"This is.. Class 1-A speaking."

There was a beat of silence before they got a response.

"Would that be Todoroki Shoto on the line?" asked the villain.

"Maybe."

"I'm surprised you escaped the net so easily, I can only imagine how that worked."

"How do you know our weaknesses?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." she sassed

He clenched his fist in frustration. As annoyed as he was he was wary that she could shut off their talk before he got anything out of it.

"How do you plan to kill All-Might?"

"Now that's a better question. The answer, Todoroki, is that we have a big fuck off monster and it's gonna do wonders on dear All-Might, you can count on that."

He looked to his classmates, they were scared but he was filled with determination. He wasn't going to let them kill his father's rival.

"You won't stand a chance. I'll make sure of it." he warned.

The villain paused and then replied, "It's a date." she answered in a mockingly flirtatious manner.

He huffed and threw away the radio.

*

Izumi sighed, Tomura took the news of losing the ruins team badly, not helping was the landslide team had lost sight of Sero Hanta and Jirou Kyoka. The whole area was rough terrain and Jirou was an ideal tracker. No doubt they weren't getting caught.

Kirishima Eijiro was in the downpour zone, where he wasn't meant to be, being a nuisance which let Ashido and Kaachan escape into the buildings. Without the downpour there was nothing nullifying their quirks.

The mountain team was struggling against Yaoyurozu and Ojiro. And Kaminari, who was absolutely not supposed to be there.

Then Kurogiri had returned with the news that thirteen was down but Iida Tenya had escaped the building.

The Iida family, you know, the Engine Leg Dynasty. One of the oldest hero families in Japan. Yeah that guy was meant to be in the flood zone, but low and behold, he was now escaping.

That put them on a ridiculously restrictive timer.

She had planned for this of course but the chance of victory was now slim.

She switched her frequency, "Flood Zone, check in"

*

She had frozen up in the heat of the battle and Kurogiri had caught her. Ochako fell through his portal. She spent a second in free fall before crashing into the cold water.

For a second she didn't know which way was up. She panicked, fearing that she would drown and eventually floundered her way to air. She was well able to swim and was quite good at it too.

However, she could hear the sound of panicked treading and spotted Mineta Minoru. As much as she didn't like him she didn't plan on letting him drown.

She put her arm into the splashing ball of fear that was Mineta and grabbed him by the back of his tiny neck. She spotted a boat and made her way towards it.

It was then she saw the moving shadows beneath the water. She didn't think, she just swam as fast she could one handed.

She reached the boat but as she pulled Mineta out of the water, a scaly webbed hand grabbed onto one of his legs. Mineta started screaming.

Villains.

The water was full of them. The scaled villain yanked hard, trying to pull them both into the water.

She didn't think as she brought up her boot and kicked hard into the villain's neck.

The shock and pain forced the villain to release Mineta and the two fell backwards onto the deck.

The two soon sprung up and ran up the stairs and into the ship's cabin. They locked and barricaded the entry door.

They retreated into the downstairs hallway. They closed the door to the upper cabin and locked it, then hid out of sight of the windows.

"We are so screwed." moaned Mineta as he began to cry.

She had nothing to say to that. Nothing had prepared her for today. Not even her near miss during the entrance exam.

Outside were villains who were going to kill them and they didn't have a hope in hell of escaping.

She started crying herself. Nothing Aizawa had ever said or done had ever been as cruel as this and he had expelled a kid on his first day in the hero course. He kept that seat empty as a reminder and no one except Bakugo was willing the risk being next.

The battle was hopeless.

The sound of footsteps interrupted their misery. They silenced themselves and curled up away from the windows in the hallway's adjoining rooms.

The villains feet pounded heavily overhead. She could hear them talking but it was muffled through the hull of the ship.

The villains moved again, heading towards the cabin door they had locked and barricaded with chairs.

They pounded on the door, whichever villain it was hit the door hard enough she could hear it shatter. She wanted puke. Her life was coming to an end before her eyes. If the first door didn't hold the second wouldn't either.

A sudden crash and a cheer rang out. She barred her teeth and clenched tightly as the footsteps came to a stop by the the final door.

"Kids, we know you're in there. The boss says if you come quietly the then you won't get hurt. Either way, your not escaping."

She wanted to say no, she thought it was wrong that she was powerless and cowering from a villain. How could she be a hero if she was willing to give up?

But she had no fire in her, she was in over her head and this was the only out that showed its face.

She looked to Mineta, who didn't object. She slowly got up to unlock the door.

*

"This is flood team, we got two in the bag, no one else in sight."

"copy that, get ready for the portal, should be opening on the deck."

*

Tokoyami was exhausted. He had been running ragged with Tsuyu on his back. Whatever power his dark shadow had before was now whittled to nothing. The conflagration zone was viciously hot and he had been forced to ditch his cape. It did not help that all his feathers were an inky black.

Tsuyu was showing signs of heat exhaustion and the best he could do was race blind through the burning city wreck to get her to safety.

His dark shadow was now pitifully weak and whining like a kicked puppy as it hugged his body tight.

He could feel the heat exhaustion coming on to him as well. He legs and arms cramped, his throat was dry and his head stung.

He tried to run but all he could do was trudge slowly as if he were walking through sludge.

He didn't notice the rubble that tripped him. As his head hit the searingly hot concrete, he slipped into unconsciousness.

*

"- we got the frog and the crow, looks like they both passed out from the heat."

"Got it, get ready to move them, Kurogiri will open his portal soon"

*

His muscles, his head, his eyes, they all stung like hell.

Aizawa had been fighting non-stop. The villains had wised up at some point and were attacking in waves to save their strength.

Every second strained him more and more.

Every second proved that he had more fighting ability than the small army of villains assembled in front of him.

The problem was that he had no where close to their combined stamina.

He wasn't planning further ahead than 'thirteen will protect the students long enough for the heroes to arrive'.

That thought allowed him to sell himself, his mind was a fugue amidst the carnage. He pushed his aching body beyond its limits in the belief he was keeping every safe.

Then the villains pulled back, they were looking back as an row occurred in their back row.

The villains then parted in the centre and the hand covered villain stepped up to the plate. His monster was standing behind him, eerily quiet.

"I've had enough of waiting, I plan to finish you myself." he threatened before charging at him.

Aizawa charged towards him and launched his capture weapon. As it enclosed itself around the villain, he grabbed onto it and it severed in his hand.

He closed the distance and punched him in the stomach. He hadn't realised it was a mistake until the villain laid his hand on his wrist and disintegrated the skin. Aizawa activated his quirk, stopping the villain from destroying his arm.

He kicked himself free of the villain only to get punched into the ground. He tried to escape but the bird beaked monster grabbed onto the back of his head and slammed it into the ground.

He was knocked out by the force. His mind became blurry. His vision was dark and his ears rang. Slowly but surely they began to recover.

".. Sekhmet! What was that for?! I had him where I wanted him."

'Sekhmet?'

"Wasting your strengths is unbecoming of a Shigaraki, Tomura. We don't need pointless battles when the important one is going to be here any minute."

'A Shigaraki?'

"Your an idiot if you expect me to believe that. What are you too soft to let a hero die? Some leader you are."

"Tomura, I don't need you undermining me. I'm already.. Oh he's awake."

His two arms were suddenly grabbed and held up high. He only realised that he was blindfolded when it was pushed up. His eyes quickly searched around.

He saw the teary eyes faces of his students, Uraraka, Asui, Tokoyami and Mineta. All were captured just like him.

He looked directly at the villain, Sekhmet. Bright green eyes peered out of the eye holes in her mask. He looked down her form. A folded bow staff was tied to her leg and two pistols were holstered at her waist. He had seen many short women in his life but..

"Your just a kid" the words slipped out before he could catch them.

"Rude." was her reply before she reapplied the blindfold.

*

She stepped away from Aizawa and sat back into her recliner. The grunts assigned to each student took the cue to sit down as well. Tokoyami and Asui would be fine, she had healed their heat damage and given them water, though they weren't fully lucid yet.

Mineta and Uraraka were both covered in water though it seemed they both had water proofed costumes. They looked frightened and dejected.

She sat forward in her seat and turned to them. "You two gonna be alright?"

Uraraka and Mineta didn't respond, only staring intently like a prey to a predator.

"I don't need you two feeling bad. You're not heroes yet and no one here is gonna hurt you now. If for no other reason than because I demand as much."

They each gave her odd looks then looked away. Mineta turned back a moment later.

"Uhh, excuse me sir-"

"Sekhmet is fine." she interjected.

"Uhm, miss Sekhmet, sir! Are you.. Whats gonna happen to us when All-Might shows up?"

Uraraka looked to her intently after hearing his question. Sekhmet glanced at Asui and Tokoyami who were listening in with droop eyelids.

"It depends on All-Might but I'm sure he will want you out of harms way too. We'll have our monster fight him and when that's over we all go home."

"Except All-Might, he'll be dead."

They all looked to Tomura who's hand was ghosting over Asui's head. She heard a gasp of surprise but not from her prisoners.

"Tomura. Leave that girl alone." she chided.

Tomura stared at her, his hand/mask hiding the filthy scowl he always gave her when she scolded him.

"Isn't this my mission, Sekhmet?"

"Tomura, it pays to be honourable. Plus, these are MY hostages. You just put your money where your mouth is and fight All-Might."

He continued staring for a few seconds before he groaned and brought his hand away.

He heard an exhale, but it came from over her shoulder and not her captives. She looked behind her. No one, only the fountain. She took stock.

Five prisoners and one downed hero all by the fifteen minute mark. All good.

One team down was a big loss. She realised then that her prisoners had distracted her from her duties.

"Mountain team, check in."

"..."

Radio silence, not a promising sign.

"My God.." she groaned angrily. Aizawa chuckled quietly but she just pretended not to notice.

*

Hagakure shivered as adrenaline ran through her veins, she was also stark naked which did and did not help.

Sekhmet had noticed her but (of course) hadn't seen her, leaving her free to run as fast as she could back to the others.

Todoroki, Momo, Ojiro and herself were hiding behind trees on the edge of the plaza. Thanks to Kaminari, the villains in the mountain zone were dealt with promptly.

She had run as fast as she could between the entrance and the fountain to get the lay of the land.

"Todoroki I'm back, pass me my gloves!" she announced, though they all kept hush. Todoroki returned her gloves and she slipped her boots back on.

"Anything major?" asked Todoroki.

"Yeah, Iida got out so helps coming. But thirteen is injured and Aizawa got captured. Also they got Tsu, Ochako, Tokoyami and Mineta. Also Sero, Kyoka, Bakugo, Kirishima and Mina are missing"

The three nodded in understanding. "What do you think Momo?" asked Ojiro.

"I think Bakugo being unaccounted for is a problem. He hasn't been caught but we don't know how to find him."

"I doubt he will be caught, if we wait then he'll arrive and we can attack with him. Trying to locate him would take longer than it would take him to win his fight and head our way." Todoroki added.

"We could just wait for All-Might." said Hagakure.

"That too."

"Right so, we run in when either All-Might or Bakugo shows up?" Ojiro summarised.

"Agreed." they answered in unison.

*

"Downpour team, check in" ordered Sekhmet.

"...

She let out a long sigh which became a loud groan. The grunts were uncomfortable. The captives eyed each other knowingly.

"Downpour team, sound the fuck off!" she spat, feeling frustrated. She could see Tomura sneering at her in her minds eye.

"Sekhmet! Can you hear me sir!

Life! Someone was responding!

And they were in trouble.

Fuck.

"Downpour team, what is the matter?" she asked.

"It's bad boss, I only got away coz I hid, that Bakugo kid is crazy! The whole team is critical, we need help."

"Spare me the details, I'm on my way." she didn't need an explanation. The words critical and Bakugo painted a thousand pictures, forget words.

"Kurogiri! Open a portal to the downpour team, Flood team, anyone idle is coming with me!"

Each radio had a tracking signal Kurogiri could use to open portals for each team. As soon as his portal was open she hurried through.

She reached the other side and spotted the radioman who had spoken to her, he was soaking wet.

The location was open but concrete dividing walls surrounded it.

She moved to him and was about to ask where the injured were, when a shout drew their attention.

They froze and a human blur flew from the wall into the crowded villains. The bunched up grunts were engulfed in a cloud of flames and were blown away.

Kaachan,

Ashido and Kirishima charged in from the opposite side. The crowded villains were suddenly in pandemonium. Giving orders would be impossible.

She drew her Bo staff and folded it out to full length.

She launched herself at Ashido, catching her unaware and almost hitting her when Kirishima's arm blocked the staff.

The staff was left bent out of shape as Kirishima clutched his arm. Her steel staff obviously hurt him.

Bakugo cried out, trying to attack her from behind.

She knew how much he favoured his right.

His arm swung in. She grabbed him by the wrist and threw him over her shoulder and struck Kirishima in the process as he attempted to double team her, a hammer and anvil strike in both cases.

They yelled out as they collided. Kaachan having hit a hardened kirishima with all his momentum was left painfully sprawled across him.

She searched around, her team had been downed by kaachan or were running in different directions.

Her eyes met Mina's and for a second they stared at each other blankly.

And then she was running. She ran as fast as she could, the sound of Kaachan shouting bloody murder slowly fading away.

She switched to Kurogiris frequency and stopped dead. "Kurogiri, it was a trap, open a portal on my location right now!"

It was open without anything else being said. She ran through and fell to her knees on the plaza floor.

Kurogiri knelt down and put and hand on her. Other villains leaned in and asked was she alright.

"Sekhmet, what happened to you?"

She spat and left a dollop of bloody spit on the tiles. She remembered her cheek and quickly healed it.

"They fucking set us up. Downpour and Flood teams are gone. They could be all fucking dead for all I know." her vemon stung in her throat, she wasn't just angry, she was rattled.

"You will be alright Sekhmet, what happened was not your fault. Do not forget that, simply adjust. You haven't failed your mission." Kurogiri assured.

She looked around, expectant faces of many villains looked to her. It was laughable, so many hard faced villain and all at her beck and call. Her, a fifteen year old.

She had proven herself and thus they were relying on her.

God what a story that would be if she ever told Mom.

Kurogiri gave her his hand and pulled her onto her feet. She turned to expectant grunts.

"We haven't lost yet, we all knew the stakes but we came anyway. Today is our day whether All-Might's gonna like it or not. Now back to work! watch all the approaches, expect students to attack from different sides of the plaza."

The entrance doors blew off, a gust of smoke of dust erupted from the top of the stairs.

"That'll be All-Might." said Kurogiri.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

The familiar words "I am Here" echoed through the building. Thus all their doubts were rested.

She turned to the grunts, "everyone stay sharp, the symbol of peace will be on us soon."

She took position between the students and drew one of her pistols. "Keep the hostages secure, then he'll think twice abou-"

A blur of white and gold.

Her feet left the ground.

The wind whipped her eyes shut.

She hit the fountain after spending a second airborn.

Her body screamed in pain before she fainted.

*

For only a moment her feet had left the ground and she went flying.

Then it was dark

When her senses returned she was cold and wet, lying on her side in the water of the fountain. Her ears rang and she could smell blood.

She gave each limb a twitch, no broken bones.

She brought her hand to her head. She felt her mask, it was still there and it hadn't broken.

As her ears stopped ringing she heard their voices.

"Don't move villains, the pros are on their way, there's no escape. "

Sounds like Ojiro.

Tomura howled in pain, "Kurogiri! Where the hell is Sekhmet?!"

"I don't know Tomura." said Kurogiri, his voice strained by pain.

"Sekhmet? Like the Egyptian god?" asked a girl, her voice was distant.

No better time for an introduction.

She brought her hand up to the seat of the fountain. She pulled herself onto one knee and then stood up slowly. Her head swam for a moment.

Her heavy coat was soaked with cold water. She checked her surroundings, all the grunts were knocked out by All-Might. Kurogiri and Tomura were caught, they were pinned by Todoroki and Ojiro respectively.

The hostages were missing including Aizawa, she wondered if he was injured and she hadn't noticed.

The Nomu was gone, All-Might looked worse for wear but was standing tall. Standing still. Was he not able to attack?

Perhaps the Nomu had pushed him to his limit.

The students and All-Might formed a crescent in front of her. They followed the sound of water splashing to her as she stood up from the fountain.

She saw Yaoyurozu, Todoroki, Ojiro, Hagakure (had to be with the floating gloves) in front of her with All-Might. She looked around and saw Kirishima, Ashido and Bakugo on the far side of the fountain.

They were wary, most hadn't seen her do anything besides sit down and make orders.

She took a deep breath and climbed out of the fountain. The students braced themselves, but she made sure not to do the same. Control and confidence, put the enemy in doubt.

"You must be Sekhmet." stated All-Might. His voice was piercing, it's echoes ricocheted off her bones and inside her body. If it hadn't been for her training, she would have succumbed to his aura alone.

"I am" she replied. Cool and collected, denying her fear.

"It would be wise to back down villain. You can not defeat us alone." All-Might's announced.

She stripped off her heavy coat and tied it around her waist. The heroes got a good look at her chest. Her bra was visible through her soaked crop top. It did not distract them from the single pistol she still had bolstered.

"Kurogiri.. Any suggestions?"

"Forgive me Sekhmet, I'm powerless to resist."

Every card had been dealt, they had lost the gambit while she was left sprawled out in the water. She had to win on an empty hand.

The only thing she had now was a pistol and her body. But she hadn't given up, sensei had once given a piece of advice.

She quickly drew the pistol. As everyone one prepared to dodge a few gasps escaped them.

"Hey, hey hey! Slow down! You don't need to do this!" cried Yaoyurozu.

"Listen up" she began, pistol pointed down. "All-Might, the world's greatest hero, you're powerless now aren't you?"

"Tsk" her replied, subtly affirming her statement.

"Sensei told us that you were on a timer but it seems we were unlucky and couldn't make good on it."

The name Sensei made him shudder, he knew exactly who she was talking about.

"One question All-Might, besides my Sensei how many people have you tried to kill? I know the answer, it's zero. You make sure villains survive to see justice."

"What of it?" he barked. The students and villains looked between them, stock still as they observed this tense affair.

"Kurogiri, follow my lead please."

They held their breath, clueless to what was about to happen.

She clicked off the safety switch. She then pushed the muzzle of the pistol into her right palm and pulled the trigger.

The shot was head splitting thunder. Her vision swam, colour curdling. She screamed and as did some of the students. She fell to her knees but made sure not to drop the gun.

Nothing prepared her for it, it was the worst pain she had felt in her entire life.

She raised the profusely bleeding wrist over her head.

"In the palms is where the radial and ulnar arteries meet. In a minute I will fall unconscious. In five I will be dead. But the league has doctors who can save me. Unless you let those two and me escape I will die."

"Are you crazy!?" shouted Yaoyurozu.

She didn't answer her, she set down her pistol and put pressure on the wound. It stung and blood was jetting out over the tiles.

She had put her life in All-Might's hands. If he was too slow she was going to die.

"All-Might, she has medical training, she knows what she is talking about, the league can help her." Kurogiri informed them.

All-Might was furious. At who? only the villains could have known. His own morals and guidelines were being twisted against him.

Every second counted but he was hesitant. Yaoyurozu quickly made an emergency aid case. Izumi took one look at her and Momo froze.

Her body was shaking now, sweat beaded on the inside of her mask but she was shivering. She would be in shock soon.

Time was slowing down for her, at least half a minute was gone. The blood formed a bright red puddle in front of her.

All-Might might actually watch her die. The colour was running from her skin. Her consciousness was fading.

"She's younger than me All-Might."

Shigaraki drew everyone's attention to him. "She goes to high school and lives with her family. They're going to wonder why you didn't save her All-Might."

She wanted to scold him for undermining her identity but she didn't care. Her vision was fading. Blood was running violently out of her wound, every twitched sent more blood squirting out.

All-Might sighed and bowed his head.

"Let them go students, I'll take responsibility." ordered All-Might.

They hesitated for a moment before releasing the two villains. Now released, they sprang up and ran to her side. Kurogiri opened up a portal beside her. Tomura carefully slipped his arms under hers to pull her into the portal.

She caught All-Might's gaze one last time. They locked eye on each other. His eyes betrayed his frustration but with a hint of relief.

"Thank you" she said wordlessly, as she struggled to stay conscious.

The symbol of piece balked. It was the last thing she saw before she was pulled through the portal.

Notes:

I spent the better part of nine days on this work. I ended changing my mind about it several times and started wondering if I should upload at all but after so much planning I went ahead with it.

This idea partly inspired by my headcanon that Sensei would use his quirk to empower the people who supported him. In the back story scenes all-might is seen dismantling afo's empire in chunks, possibly because he was willing to negotiate but also perhaps because afo's subordinates had been given super quirks or had their quirks modified to be more powerful.

I combined that with a second theory that Tenko Shimuru took the name Shigaraki from Sensei because it was his original name. Its a cool idea even if it's not true.

Thus we have the Shigarakis as pet project for Sensei where each person had their power improved and they were all put under the umbrella name Shigaraki (like some horta mafia).

The title "a Shigaraki to remember" is a reference to Izumi, not Tomura as in this au she secretly goes by the name Shigaraki Izumi. The backstory was originally in this but I cut it over pacing concerns.
