Work Text:
Tayo na namang dalawa
(It’s just the two of us again)
Walang sali-salita
(Not exchanging words)
Pinagtagpo ng tadhana
(Brought together by fate)
Magkasamang nag-iisa
(Alone with each other)
Sa bawat sulyap lang ba tayo pwedeng magkita?
(Are we only seeing each other through stolen glances?)
Day 1
Izuku never thought he would be thankful his car broke. Distress consumed him yesterday when his car just decided out of the blue to not work at all, no warnings given, just died, in the middle of the road.
But if you’re wondering why he is thankful. He’d tell you this: Heaven is real. That’s if angels looked like a blonde tall handsome ripped hot model wearing black tank tops and matching black sweatpants and black jordans. Then being alone at the bus stop with this angel means heaven, right?
Izuku never seen him before. Heck if he did, he already just abandoned his car in the garage a long time ago if it means he’s going to see this angel every time he’s at the bus stop on his way to work.
Izuku didn’t notice he was staring creepily until the blonde faced him and gave him a scowl. And Izuku, the nervous wreck he is, just shrunk on the opposite side of the shed hoping the ground will swallow him whole out of embarrassment.
Good job Izuku, it’s just the first meeting and he already has an impression of you. Sure, he will recall you as the creepy perv at the bus stop, but he will still remember you, right?
The blonde just clicked his tongue and brought his attention back to his phone. Luckily, a bus came to dissolve the awkward silence between the two. But much for Izuku’s hopes and dreams, it was the blonde’s bus.
The bus left Izuku alone and rueful.
Will he ever see that blonde again?

Day 2
Izuku wished his car will never be fixed, ever.
He’s at the bus stop again alone with the stunning blonde angel he saw yesterday. The blonde was already there before Izuku came just like yesterday, but unlike yesterday, the blonde was not in gym clothes. He was wearing a black V-neck shirt underneath a black and red flannel and ripped jeans. Izuku missed looking at the biceps (though he only saw it one time, and it was only yesterday), but the blonde is still stunning. Izuku wonders if he ever modeled before, because the world is clearly missing out.
Learning his lesson yesterday, Izuku became creative in stealing glances at the blonde. Being interested at the billboard near the side of the blonde, fake attempts on spotting a bus, etc. Izuku swears he will bring sunglasses tomorrow, if he’s lucky enough to be alone with this blonde again.
So much for izuku’s pleasure, his bus to work came in. And hell, Izuku was torn between not missing out work or reveling the presence of the blonde. But praying he’ll see him again tomorrow, Izuku boarded the bus and settled on daydreaming about the blonde, he’s got like thirty minutes to spare so it’s enough.

Day 3
Calling: Plus Ultra Shop
Oh, please no.
The shop where he left his car to be fixed is calling him. He already knew why. He remembered clearly what the smiling mechanic said, “Leave it to us, we will call you when your car is ready to roll.”
His car is fixed. But Izuku would rather leave it there. Even though it cost him a year of installment payments to acquire. No thank you, but he would rather spend his mornings with a stunning blonde angel even if it will take him time to go to work.
“If you’re not going to answer it, cancel it already. It’s noisy” said by someone at his side.
Looking at the direction of the voice, Izuku saw heaven. The blonde who Izuku thought of not seeing today was wearing a plain white shirt underneath a light gray edge cardigan with matching dirty white skinny jeans and white slip-on. Oh boy, this image is going to make Izuku completely sleepless tonight.
The blonde was still scowling at him when Izuku realized he was creepily staring again. He hastily cancelled the call and tucked his phone in pocket. I’m sorry Mr. Cheerful mechanic, please take care of my car forever.
The blonde’s bus suddenly came and took away Izuku’s hopes and dreams again.

Lagi-lagi namang walang paki-alam
(You always seemed not to care)
Oh, ako ba sa iyo’y walang pag-asa
(Don’t I really have a chance?)
Puso ay laging nasasaktan
(My heart always hurt)
Hanggang kunwari nlng ba ako aasa?
(Am I just going to live off on my make-believe?)
Day 10
Today is the tenth day he’s commuting and the tenth time Izuku will see the blonde (yes, he’s counting, thank you for noticing). And on those times, the blonde never bothers him a glance, except for the first day and the call incident. It hurts, but Izuku was more than satisfied on seeing the blonde every week days.
But it’s going to be different this time. Izuku is going to take all the courage he could gather within his being. He’s going to talk to the blonde and ask his name. There’s a huge chance for rejection. And if it’s going to be the case, then he will just go to the shop to pick up his car he was stalling for a week and never show his face in front of the blonde ever again.
Though upon reaching the shed, Izuku’s courage along with his soul left him.
Standing under the shed was the subject of his daydreams together with someone who’s standing way to close to the blonde. Too close for Izuku’s comfort. Please do not turn out to be his boyfriend. He prayed.
Izuku willed himself not to cry. If the blonde saw him, he will not only remember him as the annoying creep perv at the bus stop, he will recall him as the annoying pathetic creep perv at the bus stop. Yeah, the adjectives just got worse.
Steeling himself, Izuku approached the shed, now instead of going to work, he planned on going to the shop to pick his car, and probably cry inside it.
Izuku’s MO is just to look ahead and not to glance at the other occupants of the shed. He was doing a good job when someone spoke.
“Hey! I know you!” said a jolly familiar voice.
Izuku glanced where the voice came from to make sure it was really directed at him. And oh boy, it came from the smiling mechanic from the shop. The red-head mechanic has one of his elbows resting on the scowling but still stunning blonde’s shoulder.
Their position did wonders to Izuku’s feelings, anxiety, jealousy and frustration mixed in together. The dam containing Izuku’s tears threatening to break.
“Baku bro, he’s the guy I’m telling you about.” The red head said to his companion. “The guy who was requesting his car to be fixed ASAP, and now that it’s fixed has been avoiding our calls.” The red head said bewildered.
Baku bro? That’s some weird endearment there. If Izuku will have it, he will call this blonde ‘Angel’.
…
Wait.
Baku Bro? as in bro bro? Does that mean..
“Dude it’s been a week, are you really not planning on picking your car? You already paid more than half for it.” The red head asked while approaching Izuku then pointed his thumb at the blonde who now has an amused smile on his face. “I even called my best friend to help me with your car. You were pretty disappointed that it broke so I figured the fast job will cheer you up.”
Izuku’s previous turmoil of negative feelings turned a complete 180 degrees. Not just because the red head turned out to be just a clingy best friend but also because of the most stunning smile Izuku saw in his entire life. He wants to take a picture of it and put it his wallet. To remind himself that he was blessed with a rare beautiful smile (with a mix of smug grin, but a smile nonetheless) and will never take his life for granted ever again.
A snap in front of his face cut Izuku out of his musings. He faced the red head who owned the offending fingers. A knowing and teasing smile forming on his face while his eyes were pointing at his best friend.
This is embarrassing as hell.
Izuku closed his eyes as he prayed intently to all the gods he knew just to make the ground swallow him. He didn’t even noticed the gorgeous blonde as he approached him. He didn’t until he felt the blonde was just mere meter away from him.
Izuku looked up at the taller man and was allured by those beautiful ruby eyes. For ten days of seeing the blonde, Izuku never had a chance to linger on those piercing eyes, and now that he has, he swears the Grim Reaper is now welcome to collect his soul because he just completed his purpose in life.
The blonde still holding Izuku’s gaze elbowed his still grinning friend.
“Kirishima, our bus is here.” He said.
The red head shifted his gaze on the road and true to the blonde’s words a bus came and halted.
“See you later dude,” the red head addressed Izuku. “Call me if you finally muster the courage to ask Katsuki out, I mean if you finally want to pick up your car.”
The red head was still laughing as he boarded the bus even after the blonde smacked him forcefully on the head.
As the bus left, the silence of the shed did not help Izuku to clear his mind.
He’s been outed, by the best friend of his crush, in front of his crush.
“Someone please kill me now”, he pleaded loudly to no one at particular.
A text message interrupted Izuku while he was planning on how to move to another country, change identity and restart his life there.
Hey annoying creepy perv at the bus stop, if you just wanted to see me, you could have just asked.
- Stunning Blonde Angel
Izuku’s soul left his body after reading the message.
