We Got So Familiar by PrinceOfOneSingleDomain
A wonderful 'missing scene' for the backstory on Princess Carolyn's father's funeral. The author does a good job of keeping the balance between the sincere moments and the humor of Bojack, and for showing what it would be like to have all that regret with a parental figure that tried but it wasn't enough. Princess Carolyn is my favorite character so all those feelings hit extra hard, but there is some sweet in the bitter as well.
