Summary
College student Magnus Bane is in the middle of writing an English paper when he has an epiphany concerning his best friend since childhood, Alec Lightwood.
"That English paper kicking your ass so hard you forgot how to word irl?" Alec teased from the other end, cheerful and amused and still very much so himself.
"No, I just… I had to call to tell you you were right," Magnus said.
"I usually am," Alec quipped, though Magnus could tell that he had his attention anyway. "You'll have to be more specific, Mags. What am I right about this time?"
"I'm writing this paper," Magnus said, as if Alec didn't already know that. "And… I just. I needed to tell you that your theory about love is right, Alexander."
