   Summary

   Asher Baumann is an inventor, though not a particularly talented one. Through an abundance of hard work and a bit of luck, he has managed to build Ezra, a seven-foot-tall, fully self-driven, silver automaton. Ezra is curious, not entirely content with his lot in life, and as a result requests Asher help him to become what he so longs to be: human.
