    There was a large space in between them, but Bucky could deal with being so much closer. He had forgotten what actual human interaction was supposed to feel like. His brain wanted him to slip his knife out and stab the man in the gut, but he couldn’t bring himself to comply. Kill, kill, kill circled in his mind, taunting and torturing him.
