Summary
“You had no right.” Yoongi jabs a finger in his direction. Those four words reminds Jimin of heartbreak and he braces himself for the rest of Yoongi’s words, knowing he wouldn’t get out of it unscathed.
“Yoongi—”
Yoongi doesn’t even give him the time to explain. “I can’t deal with you right now.”
He told himself to let it go, to understand that Yoongi was hurting and just needed to let it off somewhere, to understand that both their emotions were running high but it doesn’t lessen the squeezing in his chest.
Like an idiot, he blinks again, long lashes brushing against his cheek for a moment longer than usual.
The silence gets overwhelming when Yoongi doesn’t add anything afterwards.
There’s so many things he wants to say to that but he doesn’t and the only words that come out of his mouth is not what he really wants. “If that’s what you want.”
Yoongi gives him a nod without even looking at him.
“I love you, Yoongi.” Again. Another 4 words but a different heartbreak. He lets the silence hang between them before he speaks up again.
Yoongi doesn’t say them back because at that moment, he can’t breath. He doesn’t know how to.
