   Summary

   Maybe the cold was how they were doing it. Hypothermia.

   They never properly warmed him up, and they were keeping him here- hibernating. Trying to keep him on the precipice, just warm enough so that his body didn’t shut down. But still, keeping everything cold and unnavigable, keeping him just cold enough so that his thoughts were too scrambled to find a way to fight back sooner. Ogata might have laughed at how painfully obvious it was if he didn’t get the sinking feeling that he’d gone through this cycle of remembrance before.

   Okay. New first objective. Find a place to warm the hell up- then find his gun when he could think clearly again.
