Ch. 1: Origin (part 1)
Pain.
It was the first feeling Izumi could remember. It was always there. While playing with other kids and Kacchan, she always got hurt. Helping her mother cooking for the first time, she burn her hand.
It was small pain, at first, but no pain was like the one, from the time she got her quirk.
For days in the row, her back and head hurt, no matter what her mother do, the pain didn't go away. They did go to the doctor, he said that this kind of pain was normal from when people get they quirk. Izumi did wonder, did her mommy and daddy felt pain too when they got they quirks? Her mom told her that she did felt pain in her hand when her quirk first apper.
It was to bad she couldn't ask her dad about it...he died a few months before she was born in a villan attack.
But that didn't matter at now, all that Izumi wanted was that the pain to go away, she wished that it would just dissapper! So, that night, while sleeping, the pain dissapper.
It was the sweetness sleep that Izumi had in almost 2 weeks!
To bad, it was the last one...

Izumi wake up in the morning, like normal, but with no pain.
'Huh? No pain?' Izumi thought, she quickly made her way to the bathroom to check herself. Maybe she finally got her quirk!
What she saw in the mirror, was a big surprise! Two small, white and fluffy wings appear on back and they move! Izumi had wings! She couldn't contain her happyness! She couldn't wait to tell Kacchan about it! She couldn't wait to tell-
"MOM!!"
Izumi ran from the bathroom to the kichen to see her mom preparing breakfeast.
"Mom! Mom! I got my quirk!!" Screamed Izumi from the top of her lungs. There were 3 emotions that her mother was going true at that moment: Shock, happyness and ...terror as she burned her hand.
"OW"
"MOMMY!"
Izumi ran to her mom and took her burned hand in her small ones.
"It's ok dear! Its just a small burn! I will take the first aid and-" she didn't get to finish as her burned hand was covered in a green light.
Izumi couldn't belived! Her shouting scared her mom and now her hand was hurt because of her! She just wanted the burn on her mother hand to heal!
And her wish come true...
Inko was shocked! Her daughter just heal her wound! This was incredibel!
"Izumi! Your quirk! It's amazing! I'm so prou-"
"M-mommy?" Izumi cut her off.
"Izumi? Whats wrong?" Asked Inko looking at her kid. Izumi showed her mother her tiny hand, no wound on it.
"My hand hurt...like I just burn it!"

They were at the doctor in less then a hour to check on Izumi and her quirk. Some test were done, some of which include Izumi useing her healing, while wearing some crown like device on her head.
Two hours later, the doctor came with the results.
"Thats quiet the quirk you got there kiddo! Some may say its perfect for a hero!" Said the doctor, while look true some files.
Izumi face light up! Perfect for a hero!? Does that mean that she could be a hero like All Might?!
"I checked the history of your parents quirks and came to a conclusion on what your quirk can do. You said that you could 'felt' that your mother was scared, right?" She nods. "Well, you see, from your mother part, it seems like her mother had an empath quirk, which explain the that moment. And from your father part, that was a little harder to find, his grandfather had a healing quirk! Much like yours! You can heal other and yourself!" Explane the doctor, still looking at his files.
"What about the wings? I don't remember someone with a wing type of quirk in our family, neither Hisashi! What about them?" Asked Inko, pointing to Izumi wings.
"I was getting to it! The wings are actually a mutation from Izumi herself! They are an extension for her healing part of the quirk! Izumi is useing her own energy to heal other, that enegy stays contain in her wings. They still develop, but in time, she might be able to change her they form. She would also be able to fly with them!" Continued the doctor.
Izumi through for a moment. She could feel when others are scared aka in danger, she could heal and fly!
"Thats a perfect quirk for rescue! Wait... thats it! I will call it "Rescue"! Because that what I will use it for! Yay!" Izumi jumped off her chair. That was perfect! Kacchan would be a combat hero and she would be a rescue one! It would be so great!
"No so fast tho..." said the doctor, his face become serios.
"Huh?"
"I said in the begging that 'Some may say its perfect for hero', but only until they found about the drawbacks..."
"The drawbacks?" said both Inko and Izumi at the same time.
"Miss Midoriya, when you first came here, you said that Izumi felt pain in her hand, like she was the one who got burned in the first place, right?" Asks the doctor. Inko nods, Izumi could feel her mother fear, but she didn't know for what.
"While testing Izumi healing abilites, the device on her head was analyzing her brain reactions and we found a major drawback to it..." he explain. Izumi could feel the doctor sadness and her mother pure fear.
"While she heals, the pain from the wound its transmited in Izumi nerve sistem. No wound on her body, but her brain would reproduce the pain from the victim in her body. That for one is bad for her develop, the would go away in the amont of time the wound would heal normaly, but if its a scar or a permanent wound, the pain would be constant on her body, but not on the victim. Also, when she heals major wounds, some of the feather turn black and fell off, but the grow back, don't worry. Its the empath part that is more worrying..."
Izumi was scared of what the doctor might say next.
"She could only feel the 'negative' emotions. No positive ones. That would affect her more than enoght later on....I'm sorry, but with a quirk like that...I don't think you should be a hero or work in a similar region." The doctor finished the explication of her quirk.
Izumi could feel the sadness in both her mother and doctor, the words keep repeting in her head.
'I don't think you should be a hero...'
"No..."
Inko and the doctor looked at Izumi, fearing of what she would say.
"I WILL be a hero!! A hero is giveing they all out there! No matter of they drawbacks! With what I am different from them all?! I will just have to work ten times harder to achive my goal!" Said Izumi staying on her feets, with her wings spread.
"But Izumi-"
"No buts! I will be a hero! I don't care about fame and money! All I want is to be out there and help people with a smile on my face, just like All Might!"
Her mother was crying at this point, watching her daughter stooding up for her dreams.
"I will do my best!"

Later that night, Izumi was staring at a video on the computer, it was All Might debute, her favorite video. Inko was watching her from the doorway, worrying for her daughter.
"I know that you are scared mommy..." said Izumi not looking at Inko, she was shocked for a moment, then she rememberd the empath part of he quirk.
"He always fight with a smile on his face, no matter of the danger he is in. And that smiles brings hope to all people around him... "
Izumi turns towards her mom, with tears in her eyes.
"Do you think...I will be able to push away the pain....and bring hope to others....just like him?"
Inko launch herself towards Izumi and hugs her from behind.
"I'm sorry Izumi....I'm sorry..." her mom keeps repeating.
This...is not what she wanted to hear...

"Rescue? It's that what you call it?"
The next day, Izumi got back to kindergarden and the first person to tell about her quirk is, of course, Kacchan.
"Yeah! Because I can do things that work best in rescue operations! I can feel when poeple are scared and in danger, I can fly and also I can heal! Isn't it awsome!" Izumi was jumping up and down, explaning her childhood friend about her quirk!
"And the drawbacks?" Asked Katsuki, looking down at Izumi.
"Oh! When I heal big wounds, some of my featers turn black and fell off, but they grow back!" Said Izumi showing him her wings.
"Hm! Atleast you manage to get a somewhat decent quirk Deku! But I will still be Nr. 1 Hero! Not even All Might will stay in my way!" Said Bakugo, makeing explosions out his hands.
She can never tell Kacchan about the pain, she will never tell anyone about it. Its not lying if you don't tell the whole true! That was her secret. She will be like All Might and smile in front of the danger and pain! No matter what, she will always smile...
"You will be the greatest hero ever Kacchan!!"
"You better think so Deku!"
