We each write every chapter together in roleplay like fashion, and then I edit it to make it flow like a story; so if it ever sounds a little off I apologize. If you notice any mistakes, don't hesitate to point it out and I'll fix it!

Chapter 1:
"Thank you for joining us today as we assign all of our prospective applicants to their mentors! When you walked in through the door you were assigned a paper with a number, please find the mentor with the same number as you!" The principal said as she gestured towards the row of mentors who were standing to one side waiting to meet their mentee. Altogether there were only about 15 mentors and 15 mentees; so it wouldn't be too hard for one to find the other.
Jungkook was excited, he had been looking forward to starting this program since forever ago. As soon as they were told to find their mentor, he hopped out of his seat and started looking. He looked down at the paper in his hand to see a 7 written on it and so he began to ask around to see who else had a seven.
Jimin waited off to the side for the high schoolers to come closer, trying to figure out which one he was going to be paired with. He called out his number to see if any of the passing students were assigned to him. Some shook their head and moved on but finally, a somewhat tall, black-haired, student looked at him and asked, "Seven?"
Jimin smiled and nodded showing him his slip of paper with the number 7 printed on it. The student smiled a cute bunny smile and proceeded to introduce himself. "Hi, I'm Jungkook, I'm your mentee it seems," the student said and Jimin nodded.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Jimin!" Jimin responded.
"So, do you have any idea what we are going to do right now?" Jungkook asked Jimin. Jungkook had been looking forward to this day, yet he still didn't know exactly what they would be doing... weird he guesses, but that's his personality.
"Well, I believe we're supposed to spend the next five minutes getting to know each other before the Principal speaks again... so Jungkook right?" Jimin paused for confirmation and when he received a nod he continued, "are you excited to be a part of this program?"
Jungkook couldn't take his eyes off of Jimin as the elder spoke. "Yeah, I'm super excited!" Jungkook answered with happiness lacing his voice. "So... to get to know each other how about you ask a question and then I ask a question? That way we can learn about each other," Jungkook suggested. Jimin nodded, agreeing with the idea.
"Alright, um... how old are you?" Jimin asked knowing Jungkook would be younger but wondering just how much younger.
"Well, I'm eighteen" Jungkook answered truthfully. By looking at Jimin, Jungkook guessed the elder would be around.... 21? Maybe 22 at most. "And how about you?" Jungkook asked wanting to make sure his suspicions were correct.
Giving the younger an elusive smile Jimin said, "Let's just go with I'm much older than you. So what do you like to do during your free time?"
Jungkook thought for a moment about what to say, he went through all his hobbies and then said, "Well... I like dancing and singing. But I also like playing video games a lot, especially Overwatch!" He paused for a moment before continuing and asking the elder, "what kind of movies and series do you like?"
"Oh Overwatch? My best friend loves that game, he's constantly playing it day and night," Jimin said giggling and then hummed as he thought about how he'd answer the question the younger had posed. After a moment he finally said, "Well I love watching horror movies lately, I've been watching that new horror show on Netflix, it's pretty good in my opinion. What about you, what shows are you into?"
Oh my god, namjisoos christ, that giggle! Jungkook swore it just did something to him! His stomach started doing flips and butterflies appeared out of nowhere! But another thing, horror shows?! Jungkook was scared of that shit!
"Well, I'm more into comedy and romance. Sometimes I also watch some dramas. But I absolutely despise horror movies. They scare me every time! I'm not even sure how someone can like those! No offense though," Jungkook added at the end.
Jimin giggled again nodding along with what the younger said. "I get it, horror isn't for everyone. I also like romance and comedy actually so we've got some interests that match!" Jimin said happily just as the bell rings signaling it was almost time for the high schoolers classes to start. The principal called for everyone's attention again and began speaking once everyone was seated and looking at her.
"Ok, now that you've met each other let me explain what the program will be like. This week the mentors will be staying on our campus so that they can talk with the mentee and form a bond, I'm hoping by the end of the week you will all be closer and friends even," She paused to look over the crowd. "Mentees I would like you to ask questions to your mentors about the program you've signed up for and they'll help you as best they can," she continued.
"Next week, mentees will be visiting and staying with their mentors on the college campus so they can experience what college life is like. The following week will be different for each pair depending on if the mentee wants to continue or not so we'll talk about that part when it comes. Now mentees please return to your classes but remember you'll be meeting your mentor for lunch and after school for a couple of hours," the principal reminded the mentees and then dismissed them. As the mentees began filing out of the auditorium the Principal spoke again addressing the mentors, "Mentors stay here, we will be discussing a bit more about what you should be doing during the mentees campus visit."
Jungkook left the auditorium and went searching for his two best friends, Bambam and Mark. They had been friends for quite a long time since they were seven years old in fact. After making it through the crowd of people trying to get through the door, Jungkook finally found his friends and waved while yelling, but not too loud, at them to garner their attention. Once he made it through the crowd, he greeted his friends and said, "I finally made it through that crowd," while panting.
Bambam and Mark chuckled as they observed Jungkook. After the black haired male caught his breath, Bambam spoke up. "So how were your mentors?" he asked curiously while adding, "mine was a bit boring... he was always saying I was too hyper and stuff..."
"Mine was the opposite, he was so energetic, I think I was a little overwhelmed," Mark said with a sigh and rubbed his forehead as if he was having a headache. "Maybe we should switch mentors," he continued as a joke.
"Nah... 'The wand chooses the wizard, not the other way around,'" Bambam quotes Harry Potter since he always loved the books and the movies.
Mark nodded, "I was joking anyways," he responded and then looked to Jungkook, "so how was your mentor?"
"Yeah, he was hot" SHIT! That just slipped right out of his mouth! How could his mouth betray him like that?! Jungkook lightly hit his mouth as if to scold it. "What I meant was, that I would totally fuck him if I could. GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME TODAY?!" Jungkook screamed at himself.
Mark and Bambam looked at each other then back at Jungkook before they burst out laughing. They laughed so hard they had to clutch their stomachs. "Wow Kookie looks like you've already developed a major crush, but we support you. So what's his name? And do you have a picture?" Bambam asked raising an eyebrow.
Jungkook blushed a bit as he said, "well... his name is Jimin and no I don't have a picture... Hey Bambam, since you always like to stalk people on Instagram can you try to find him?" Jungkook asked Bambam knowing full well he would do it anyways.
With a devious grin, Bambam said, "Of course, leave it to me! I'll send you his Insta, twitter, and any other social media platform he has by next class!"
Mark rolled his eyes at Bambam's response but was smiling as well. "Speaking of class, let's get going!" he continued and then pushed his two friends along with him so they'd make it before the bell rang.
Jungkook followed them till they got to their class, wondering which class they were having at the moment anyway. He unlocked his phone for a second and looked at his timetable. YAY Maths! Math was actually one of Jungkook's favorite subjects because the teacher almost never shows up on time. She'd usually be at least 30 minutes late to class.
"So... Mark, Bambam, what should we do while we wait for the 'we all know you ain't gonna get here until half the class time is gone' teacher arrives?" Jungkook asked.
"We could talk more about this Jimin you seem so fond of?" Bambam immediately answered and Mark nodded while turning around in his seat to look at Jungkook. "So describe him, what's he look like?" Mark asked.
"Well..." Jungkook though for a second as he began to recall Jimin's image in his mind. "He has the most beautiful violet colored hair and his eyes, oh damn his eyes...." Jungkook paused and let out a sigh, "he has the most beautiful tone of red eyes, not a really common color, yet so beautiful. Oh and those lips! They're so full and plump, I swear I had never seen such amazing lips before! And one of the best parts of his body? His ass! It was fineee AF! It was so round and squishy!" Jungkook finished his description and could have sworn that he felt like he almost had heart eyes.
Mark narrowed his eyes at Jungkook, "are you seriously already whipped for him? You know you just barely met him right?" Mark asked. Meanwhile, Bambam was on his phone typing furiously and shaking his head every few seconds. Jungkook blushed as he nodded his head.
"Well, I didn't think I would get this whipped for him... I guess it just happened," Jungkook responded and then looked at Bambam. "Hey Bambam are you ok?" Jungkook asked as he looked towards Bambam who had a preoccupied look in his eyes.
Mark glanced over at Bambam upon hearing Jungkook's question and parroted the question. Bambam didn't respond for twenty seconds before he exclaimed, "Found him!" The whole class ended up hearing him and glanced over towards the three males. Bambam's cheeks colored at the attention as he quickly muttered out an apology and then handed his phone over to Jungkook. "This him?" Bambam asked.
Jungkook looked at the phone and then at Bambam, then the phone and then Bambam again. "Bruh, how the hell did you just do that?! Hardly 10 minutes passed and you already found him! You know what? I won't even question it. I know you can do literally anything you want if you put your mind to it," he said as he then passed the phone to Mark so the brown haired male could see what Jimin looked like.
Mark took the phone and gazed at the photo for a few seconds before nodding and handing it back to Bambam. "He's cute, I approve of your choice," Mark said as Bambam sent the link to Jungkook's phone. "Yea, I can see why you fell for him. How old is he by the way? Is he like almost done with college or a freshman?" Bambam asked.
"Well, he didn't tell me how old he was, he just told me he was 'way older than me'," Jungkook replied while remembering the previous conversation he had with Jimin. "All I know about his age is that he is older than me and that he is old enough to be my mentor for the program," Jungkook continued and sighed.
"I didn't learn too much about him, I just learned what kind of movies he likes and that his giggles are absolutely adorable," Jungkook continued.
"Whipped" Mark whispered as Bambam broke out into laughter. "Well, we're happy for you Kook, if you need any help getting your man, we're here for you!" Bambam stated as he punched Mark's shoulder to get him to agree.
"H..HEY!!" Jungkook shouted while stuttering a bit. This time no one paid attention to them since they knew it was bound to happen. "And for your information, I am NOT that whipped, all I said was that he has cute giggles!" Jungkook defended himself.
"And nice hair, and eyes, oh and I believe you said a fineee ass," Mark made sure to add while Bambam burst out laughing again but nodded along
"I... I... well... ok you win," Jungkook said as he gave up. "I didn't know you could be this cruel!" He pouted to Mark. "And why are you laughing so much?!" he asked as he turned to Bambam and began pouting more. Jungkook looked like a little kid who had let their ice cream cone fall because he'd gotten scared.
Bambam broke out into a new fit of laughter seeing Jungkook's expression while Mark chuckled. After a minute the two quieted down and Bambam reached over to ruffle Jungkook's hair as he said, "You're so cute, I can't believe our little Kook has a crush. Jimin better treat you right!"
Jungkook blushed again and mumbles something along the lines of "I hope he does too."
At that exact moment, the door slammed open and a woman in her mid-thirties came rushing in while sprouting out an excuse for being late. "Sorry, I'm late! I had some important things to deal with," she said.
Jungkook looked at the clock and saw there were only 15 minutes left till class ended; and since he knew the woman would be too caught up in trying to find excuses for being late, he started daydreaming about Jimin. About how everything would be if they were together.
The teacher fumbled around for an excuse for a whole five minutes, leaving only ten minutes for class. So as usual, she just assigned them homework and told them to look online after school for a video she would post where she would go over the lesson she was supposed to have done in class today.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the school in the auditorium, Jimin was sitting across from Namjoon and Taehyung, his two closest friends. They had just finished listening to a presentation the Principal had gone over and was now going over the packet they'd been given with instructions of what they'd be doing as mentors.
Namjoon finished reading the packet in a flash while Taehyung took a few minutes more but finished it quite quickly. Jimin finished about the same time as Taehyung and when Taehyung noticed they were all done with the reading, he decided to speak up.
"So guys, how were your mentees?" Taehyung asks both Jimin and Namjoon.
"My mentee seems excited to be a part of the program, he's also really cute... He's also got the most adorable bunny smile I've ever seen," Jimin states with a small smile of his own on his face
"Ohhhhh someone is smiling!" Taehyung teased Jimin who promptly ignored him and focused on Namjoon who began to speak up at the same time.
"Well, my mentee was a bit on the crazy side. He kept talking about finding people's Instagram accounts easily and fashion brands. I actually think he would match Taehyung better but... I guess 'the wand picks the wizard, not the other way around'," Namjoon said quoting Harry Potter.
Jimin laughed at Namjoon's response and then asked, "What are you mentee's names?"
"Mine's is Bambam," Namjoon answered.
"And mine is named Mark," Taehyung answered right after Namjoon. "Mark was kind of quiet at first but I think he's the kind of person that once he starts getting comfortable with you he turns into a crazy person." Taehyung continued. Jimin and Namjoon nodded in acknowledgment of what Taehyung had said.
"And what is your mentee's name?" Namjoon asked Jimin, suddenly curious.
"Jungkook," Jimin answered.
"Do you have a picture?" Taehyung asked while weirdly wiggling his eyebrows.
"Don't do that, you look like a pervert!" Namjoon commented on Taehyung's actions while laughing a bit. Because who wouldn't laugh at that?
Jimin shook his head while chuckling lightly. "Stop it Tae, I ignored your comment of me smiling for a reason! It's not like what you're thinking... he's much too young for me," Jimin responded ending his sentence with a sigh.
"I agree with Jimin on this one," Namjoon said with a sympathetic nod.
"Well, I don't! If you love someone, then follow them to death and make sure they fall for you!" Taehyung exclaimed and ended up scaring Namjoon a little.
"Tae... we've been through this already... we live too long to fall for humans," Jimin said with a sad sigh. He began to remember his last love, who was human, and how that had ended. His heart clenched at the memory.
"You've been through it too, so why do you keep saying things like that?" Namjoon asked.
"Because I truly believe that when you find true love you have to grab the chance because you only get it once," Taehyung said and then looked at Jimin. "And I know for a fact that you also believe in true love. You're just scared to get hurt again," Taehyung accused.
Jimin stayed silent at that because he knew deep inside that he agreed with the younger. There was a moment of silence which was then broken by the bell ringing signaling that it was lunchtime. The principal appeared again and said, "Ok mentors, you'll be joining your mentees for lunch. I'll lead the way so just follow me," she instructed them and all the mentors got up and began to do as instructed.
