Summary
Jeongguk and Taehyung are happily in a relationship but then Jeongguk starts to change, having occasional outbursts of anger. Taehyung knows it’s not him and knows something is wrong. When he finally convinces Jeongguk to seek a specialist, they find out that Jeongguk has Intermittent explosive disorder.
The life with the disorder is sometimes hard for both of them but Taehyung is always there by Jeongguk’s side, no matter how shitty things get. Jeongguk is constantly eaten by guilt because Taehyung is usually the one on the receiving end of his episodes. He loves Taehyung and wishes the best for him and he knows he’d be better off with someone who treats him nicely all the time. But Taehyung has none of that because he loves Jeongguk unconditionally.
A/N: This fic is based on a song Next to me by Imagine Dragons (basically JK's pov). I advise you to go listen to it before starting reading. It gives more emotions to the fic and it is a beautiful song worth of listening, trust me.
