Work Text:
jungkook huffed a breath, fist suspended in mid air and ready to knock on the wooden door. he bit his bottom lip, contemplating if he should just run back into his room and tried to go to sleep but the reason he actually ended up here because he couldn’t shut his eyes and drift into sleep.
knock. knock.
in the end, he knocked, a soft one at that and resembling a slow tempo beat, not the usual loud rapping on the door when jungkook teased his hyungs. he swung back and forth on his heels with a hand shoved into his baggy pants sleepwear; constantly growing anxious as no one came to the door.
there was a door bell beside it but jungkook had no desire to press it; he seriously didn’t want to make it more obvious than ever. jungkook glanced left and right into the empty hallway. despite it looking empty, jungkook knew there were always bodyguards stationing themselves in each corner to ensure no one was trespassing into their hotel rooms, sneaking around their fully booked floor or installing hidden cameras around.
jungkook tried for another knock, betting on his luck, fist clenched and waiting for one manager to answer the door and kindly gave him what he needed. preferably hobeom or sejin and jungkook seriously started praying he had come to the right room.
he sighed, lips jutted unconsciously. jungkook turned on his heels, shoulders hunched down and already imagining forcing himself to sleep or maybe called a room service for a glass of warm milk; jungkook wasn’t exactly sure if they had that. and then, jungkook heard little noise of rustling from the door, followed by the doorknob being pushed down and pulled inside, revealing a grumpy and sleepy looking of hobeom, hair sticking into every possible direction. oh god, jungkook did feel so sorry but he couldn’t deny the happiness bubbling inside him realizing he could finally get what he needed.
“jeon jungkook, mind telling me why you’re not asleep yet at--,” hobeom lifted his wrist into eyes level, probably expecting to find the watch he usually wore on the daily basis except he had just been woken up from good sleep and no one was insane enough to wear watch to bed.
so, jungkook kindly told him the time, voice all small and awkward, “uhm.. two seventeen in the morning? perhaps, two thirty by now.”
hobeom sighed and asked away, “what do you need?”
jungkook grinned sheepishly and a little apologetic, hand scratching the back of his neck and muttered, “key card to yoongi hyung’s room.”
“i knew it. wait here.”
and hobeom came back with a key card shoved into jungkook and jungkook grinned widely, bunny teeth showing off and bouncing on his feet. “thanks hyung. please go back to sleep and i’m sorry for waking you up,” he bent his body a little to bow and made a mental note to treat him something delicious later.
jungkook skipped on his walk and he might be imagining it but he heard a soft chuckle that sounded like hobeom’s voice. jungkook passed by his room, passed another two before he stopped on the left door, scanned the key card and carefully slipped into the dark room.
the hallway lit up when it sensed jungkook’s presence and jungkook walked inside to find yoongi sleeping facing away from the door, covered in thick duvet and looking tiny. the room was dimly lit, curtain drawn closed just like how yoongi preferred it when he slept. his luggage was left opened on the carpeted floor, showing a pack of ramen he always brought along on tour and yoongi’s choice of clothes; always the same black, gray and white. well, jungkook would never judge on that. he put down the key card on the desk, together with yoongi’s music equipment that he packed from the studio and set up small working space to work on few tracks and mixing beats.
jungkook tiptoed quietly behind yoongi, reaching into the pocket for his phone and placed it beside yoongi’s. he froze when yoongi’s phone buzzed and lit up to reveal a message notification popped up on the screen from one of yoongi’s celebrity friends in seoul. he peeked a sight of yoongi and exhaled in relief when the man was still sleeping peacefully.
jungkook knew yoongi folded himself like a little prawn into sleep, one hand pillowed his head and another one tucked warmly between his thighs. jungkook lifted the end of the duvet, sat down on the mattress gently as it dipped down and he shuffled himself closer to yoongi until jungkook was behind him.
as jungkook settled comfortably, he noticed yoongi’s body scent had filled up his nostrils, the familiar smell of sandalwood, fresh pine, a hint of mint and wispy tangerine that must be from the perfume yoongi sprayed in the room this morning. the smell made him dizzy in a good way and jungkook realized at how much better he felt just by being here.
jungkook circled his arm around yoongi’s waist as gently as possible in order not to wake him up and nose unconsciously sniffed yoongi’s nape to seek for warmth. and that seemed to stir yoongi up. jungkook went stone still.
it was silence for long seconds until yoongi’s raspy voice stretched into the dark room, “kook-ah? is that you?” as he twisted in jungkook’s arm and jungkook hummed back, no use of being sneaky anymore since jungkook had definitely woke him up.
jungkook studied yoongi’s face, head sunk into the pillow, making a shape out of it, ashy brown hair pressed flat on the sides and bangs definitely messy but a bunch of it stuck upward like a tiny roof and it was honestly way too adorable and an endearing sight. the black roots had grown too long and jungkook knew any of these days he would ask the hair stylist to retouch it. the pretty eyelashes moved as yoongi tried to lift his heavy eyelids. his cute button nose, the teeny tiny mole on his right cheek that he used to cover with a brush of foundation but now he loved showing it off. the corner of his lips that quirk upward prettily and jungkook couldn’t help but to press a kiss on it.
yoongi’s soft chuckle tickled its way into his ears. yoongi wiggled his arms out of jungkook’s grip and immediately embraced jungkook, pushing his head gently into yoongi’s neck crook because he knew jungkook loved being tucked there and slowly started patting his head and dropped few soft kisses on his hair.
“why are you not asleep yet, bun?”
jungkook murmured incoherently, voice muffled by yoongi’s pajamas and yoongi continued on patting him, sometimes massaging his scalp and it felt so good jungkook could only sighed in content, constantly seeking yoongi’s body heat.
“you okay?” yoongi pulled away to make some space and looked into jungkook’s eyes. the stare yoongi gave him was achingly sweet with so much fondness and love that it made jungkook’s toes curled and almost burst.
jungkook surged forward and kissed him, taking yoongi by surprise with a yelp in the tip of his tongue but jungkook swallowed it all over in between kisses. they kissed slowly and lazily, a little bit clumsy with sleepiness but it felt perfect just like it had always been.
kissing yoongi had always been like this; sluggish, savoring and giving himself wholly. yoongi had always told him “slow down, baby. we have time,” because yoongi knew how their time always elapsed in a swift. it was always the rushing of footsteps at backstages, quick touch up of hair and make up, peeling themselves from one cloth to another. it always happened with the snapping fingers of quick quick and quick.
and kissing yoongi was always about taking their time. they had grown tired of dashing and sprinting for the next schedule. and kissing yoongi grounded jungkook.
but sometimes it was hungry, craving and devouring when they decided just fuck the time. they just wanted each other, lips against lips, skin against skin. sometimes it was the uncontained feelings when they hadn’t seen each other in days, yearning for touches and kisses. sometimes it was the distraction jungkook used against yoongi; when the said man had locked himself long enough in the studio, stuck his ass on the seat and jungkook would slowly peeled him off from the desk and led him to the couch.
they pulled away. lips red slicked and swollen. eyes hazy and pupils blown. jungkook took pride for making yoongi looked like that.
“you taste like sleep,” jungkook mumbled.
yoongi scoffed, “darling, i woke up like five minutes ago incase you don’t recall.”
and that immediately had jungkook felt sorry for disturbing his sleep, gaze turning apologetic. “sorry, hyung. i woke you up.”
“don’t give me that look, bun. it is fine. it’s not like you sneaked in here once or twice. i love having you here,” yoongi said when he noticed jungkook started feeling bad when he wasn’t supposed to be. “you are so warm and cozy,” he added and slipped a leg between jungkook’s, pulling him impossibly closer.
“how did you get in?” yoongi grazed his knuckles against jungkook’s cheeks.
“hobeom hyung,” jungkook uttered with stifled laugh and followed by yoongi’s wide grin.
“how was he?”
“damn grumpy. looked like about to skin me alive when i told him it was past 2.”
each of them held one key card of their respective room and another one was kept by their managers because their clumsy asses loved storming out of their room and locked themselves outside afterwards. jungkook and yoongi always had their own room whenever they travelled overseas for tours and despite their desire of wanting to stay in a room together, it wasn’t exactly possible and risky.
most of the nights in hotel, yoongi would hand over his key card to jungkook before he went to sleep incase jungkook wanted to come in the middle of the night and when yoongi didn’t give him, he would go out to hobeom or sejin and asked for key card like tonight.
yoongi brushed the hair out of jungkook’s eyes and yawned. jungkook laughed at that and said, “you slept a lot today.”
“yeah, i did. felt like i needed it,” yoongi couldn’t deny it because he indeed slept a lot. once they wrapped up the rehearsal and soundcheck, he caught on some sleep, woke up for light meals and slept in between hair do and make up.
“the track is finished?” asked jungkook.
yoongi had been working days and nights producing this particular track. it took a long process especially since they were on tours, communication was quite tricky and slow. there were lots of emails and texts exchanged between yoongi and the producers in house. yoongi was especially keen on this track after receiving good feedback from everyone in the company.
yoongi hummed, “the final version was decided late in the morning. changed my part quite a handful of times but i think i got it okay. namjoon is probably in the middle of burning his head off writing the lyrics.”
“or he could be finished already an hour after you handed him the track,” jungkook shrugged casually and both of them laughed knowing how true that was. namjoon was exceptionally good in writing lyrics but sometimes his words came out after a block or maybe just thirty minutes to an hour of time when he was feeling great.
“as soon as the track was done, i was hit by all the drowsiness straight away.”
“yeah and you didn’t give me any kisses,” jungkook couldn’t help the little pout on his lips, finger tracing yoongi’s pajamas shapelessly.
“oh i’m sorry, baby. i knocked off as soon as i came out of the shower,” yoongi tried to explain.
jungkook nudged yoongi’s chin with his nose, inhaling the body smell and moaned a little as he found a comfortable position around yoongi, forehead resting lightly against his shoulder.
yoongi rubbed soothing circles on jungkook’s back, running his hand up and down just like how jungkook loved it. “kook-ah,” yoongi called softy.
“mhm,” jungkook mumbled as best as he could, sleepiness quickly overtook him. he didn’t know he was this sleepy.
“something bothers you?” and jungkook’s breath hitched, too loud in the quiet room. he slowly opened his eyes, staring right into yoongi’s sleepwear gray fabric.
“you’re not usually this.. antsy?” yoongi seemed to be struggling for words to describe jungkook. “what keeps you awake, baby? hm?” asked yoongi, hand that was hovering over jungkook’s back had moved upward, stroking his hair gently.
jungkook stayed silent in yoongi’s hold, contemplating what to say, how much he should say and how could he express it without being seen as pathetic. “wanna talk about it? or should we sleep it off?” yoongi tried again on him after the long stretched silence.
jungkook couldn’t help the small smile that appeared on his face knowing yoongi was always so gentle with him. it was endearing to hear yoongi always giving options for jungkook to choose on his own, wouldn’t force jungkook to talk about anything he didn’t want to. yoongi had always been like this; open, giving and considerate.
yoongi was almost convinced that jungkook had fallen asleep in his embrace and maybe the younger didn’t really want to talk about it right now until the long silence was broken by small voice, almost too afraid to speak it out as if some monster would chase after him “empty,” jungkook said.
jungkook pressed his face harder into yoongi’s chest, trying to bury himself into it. “hyung, i feel so empty,” jungkook said again and yoongi let jungkook took his time.
“we were up there for hours with loud cheers, ear piercing screams. we saw fifty thousand of people and possibly more every time we go on stage, singing and constantly dancing until we couldn’t really feel our body and then we came down to contrast silence and emptiness. the gap feels too big,” jungkook finally admitted. “hyung, it is scary.”
yoongi kept patting him and jungkook couldn’t really help feeling emotional, voice started to crack and turn hoarse, “sorry. this is stupid.”
yoongi sighed loudly, “baby, look at me,” asked yoongi, cupping jungkook’s cheeks but the younger seemed reluctant. “jungkook-ah, i said look at me,” yoongi asked for the second time and this time firmer and jungkook finally met his eyes.
“there you go, my little bun.” yoongi flashed a content smile.
“listen. it is not stupid. it is normal. it is okay,” yoongi said. “i know how scary it can be. you don’t have to keep it all alone,” he whispered.
yoongi perfectly understood what jungkook was feeling. the atmosphere on and off stage was intensely different that anyone could lose their grounding. jungkook was right. they were surrounded by a sea of people for hours and to step down from all of it would make one big hollow inside.
he had experienced it before as well. he understood the shifting from the endless screams on stage into a dead silence once they got into their hotel room. it was like going from having no time to think at all into too much time and space to think. it could get bad into the head and yoongi was so glad they had each other to depend on, not just one but he had six he could rely. across time, yoongi figured out they just need to find a way to balance themselves and push unnecessary thoughts away.
“there is nothing much i could do for you, love. i wish i could make you feel better but i don’t really have the right to advice anyone because sometimes i still get that feeling and the fear that came along with it,” said yoongi.
jungkook reached out, clutching onto yoongi’s pajamas weakly and shook his head, “hyung, i’m not asking you of anything.”
yoongi smiled faintly, “i know, baby,” continued to brush jungkook’s soft cheeks. “the least i could do is being here for you. tell me what you need and want to do. i could run you a bath. i have a bathbomb in my luggage although it’s not advisable to take a bath at this hour,” said yoongi and jungkook chuckled seeing yoongi’s effort to make him feel better. “we can go out for some food as well but we might get an earful of scolding from the managers hyung if we’re being spontaneous at three am.”
jungkook giggled loudly when he noticed yoongi started rambling on his own, offering solution and realizing it wasn’t possible at the moment. the group often wandered around on their free time, sometimes whole team or split into smaller groups accompanied by their managers. thinking about it, they hadn’t gone out together in awhile. jungkook guessed he could plan for a night out tomorrow after their concert with yoongi. jungkook hadn’t had hotpot in awhile. he needed to talk to the managers in the morning.
“what?” yoongi asked with a scrunched nose and squinted eyes eyeing jungkook suspiciously.
jungkook smiled ear to ear and circled an arm around yoongi’s waist, pulling him closer aggressively and it took yoongi off guard, “i’m happy like this with you.”
yoongi flushed furiously. jungkook bumped their noses, muttering lowly, “thankyou, hyung,” and placed soft peck on yoongi’s lips. when yoongi pulled away first, he gasped inaudibly at the gaze jungkook had for him. round eyes and shining so bright yoongi could literally see his reflection in jungkook.
it had been almost eight years since they met, almost five years since the day yoongi realized his feeling for the younger and almost three years into this relationship and yoongi still couldn’t get enough of jungkook. he was way too breathtakingly beautiful.
“don’t keep it for yourself, okay? you have six of us,” yoongi said.
“i mean we’re in this shit together and will be for a long long time. we’re in the same band and being so gay to each other if you haven’t noticed yet and our friends sleeping next door are probably so sick of us already. we ride and die together, babe,” he added with the smug on his face, cracking jungkook up into loud laugh and yoongi couldn’t help but to mirror him.
yoongi hoped whoever were sleeping next to his room weren’t light sleeper. yoongi almost started to believe that it was only around eleven pm in the night, the time usually they arrived back to the hotel and had taken a bath, with how they were still talking and cuddling on the bed cozily until yoongi caught the sight of jungkook trying to stifle a yawn and realized it was actually almost four in the morning.
“shall we go to sleep, baby?” yoongi chuckled lightly seeing jungkook fighting to have his eyelids stayed open. “what time do we have to wake up?” asked jungkook in the middle of his sleepiness.
yoongi narrowed his eyes, mind trying to recall the message their manager shared in the group chat, “mhm.. out of the door by eleven.”
“okay,” jungkook mumbled. “wake me up at seven and i will go back to my room.”
“you can stay,” said yoongi, the same one he always utter whenever jungkook came to his room.
and always the same reply, “it is safer to go back.”
the reminder; sometimes it hit harder than what yoongi allowed it to be. he was reminded all over again that they were hiding, a secret and sneaking behind billions of eyes. they couldn’t hold hands in public without raising a question. they couldn’t go on dates and kisses like any other couples. it had always been the small space only for themselves, dinner in the hotel room, stolen kisses and touches in the dressing room, back of the car or sometimes unused storage room and dark back stage when they felt frisky and bold.
it was hard in the beginning, the frustration of not being able to love loudly and instead they had to sneak around. it was a bumpy ride but they managed to come this far. but they had been like this for years and yoongi would willingly do this for the rest of his life if this was what jungkook wanted and what it took to keep him safe and happy.
yoongi pushed any unnecessary thoughts into the far back of his head and sighed inaudibly.
and it had always been what yoongi promised, “alright. whatever you want, darling.”
jungkook shuffled closer and found his best position, breathing turned even and in between of almost drifting into deep sleep jungkook murmured, “love you so much, hyung.”
yoongi kissed his forehead and said, “love you too, bun.”
-.-- --- ..- / -.- -. --- .-- / .. / .-.. --- ...- . / -.-- --- ..- --..-- / .-. .. --. .... - ..--..
the first thing jungkook registered once he woke up was there was a doorbell and followed by a knock on the door. the water in the bathroom was running and then the faucet was snapped shut. jungkook was still trying to gain his consciousness. he knew someone came to the door, answered and briefly exchanged hushed conversation. what jungkook heard next didn’t really make sense, he heard some struggling, one and two grunts and wheeling cart. jungkook’s face twitched at the noise and sunk deeper into the bed.
later, he slowly blinked at the surrounding, wrinkled pillow, closed curtain, thick duvet covering him. he hummed lightly, waking up wasn’t really one of his options right now. it was way too cozy, soft and a fading warmth. jungkook loved the scent on the bed, familiar and it smelled a lot like his bedding back in seoul but jungkook was awake enough to know they were currently on tour. they weren’t going back for at least another month, jungkook knew that much. jungkook buried his nose into the pillow and frowned a little. it really smelt like home and oh.
it smelt like yoongi.
and that jungkook rose up abruptly, sat up straight with a wild bed hair and slanted eyes trying to spot where yoongi was. “hyung? yoongi?” he called.
“i’m here,” yoongi retorted from the bathroom and seconds later he walked out, closed the door behind him and approached jungkook closer. he chuckled watching jungkook’s confused face, messy hair and lips pursed.
“good morning, baby,” yoongi said as he stood at the foot end of the bed. “did you sleep well?”
jungkook yawned widely as he nodded, stretching his neck and scratching the itchy spot on his back. he glanced at the night stand where there was a digital clock showing four minutes until nine and yoongi said, “i already told hobeom hyung you’re still sleeping here.”
and jungkook’s gaze trailed into something behind yoongi and he followed it, “i ordered room service. thought you might love some breakfast and i’m about to die without my morning coffee.”
jungkook grinned lazily at realizing yoongi was being yoongi again, always letting jungkook sleeping in later than what they promised the night before, ordering breakfast and being sweet and loving so early in the morning jungkook thought he almost melted into a puddle and of course, yoongi’s undying love for his coffee.
he laughed lightly, held out a hand to yoongi, waiting for him to grasp on it and then he pulled yoongi strong, transferring him back into the bed and on top of jungkook. jungkook hugged yoongi tightly like a pillow.
yoongi smelt freshly showered and warm, hair still slightly damp and he was already wearing that t-shirt he wore everywhere and everyone teased him to death, including jungkook. “took a shower already, i see,” jungkook said as he sniffed on yoongi’s hair.
yoongi looked up from under jungkook’s chin and crawled upward until he was face to face with him. jungkook greeted, “good morning, love of my life,” before locking their lips together, soft and warm, melting into each other’s embrace, stealing short time of their morning basking in love. they kept it short and sweet but it affected just in the same way, always the rosy cheeks and out of breath.
“you taste like sleep,” jungkook almost flashed a smile when he remembered that was what he said to yoongi last night and then yoongi added, “and you smell,” so jungkook flew a hand to hit him on the chest.
jungkook pushed yoongi away by force into the side but yoongi just laughed it off and made his way into jungkook and proceed to lie on top of him again comfortably. they shared many kisses more, pecking on the forehead, nose, cheeks and lips all over again and again, something they usually did back home when they had extra hours to cuddle in the bed and not be storming out of the door running for schedule. once, when they had three days of break, they chose to stay inside the house, cuddling on the bed, munching on snacks and watching movies until jungkook had to complain his face turned round.
yoongi rolled to the side but stayed in jungkook’s embrace and played with his hair. “you prepared me breakfast,” jungkook said.
yoongi hummed.
jungkook’s smile turned into a naughty smirk, signaling he was about to tease yoongi and up to no good, “you prepared me breakfast,” he repeated.
yoongi frowned, “yes? i mean i didn’t get into the kitchen and grilled the asparagus for you but yeah i ordered one.”
jungkook’s smirk only widen, “being domestic sappy boyfriend i see.”
yoongi instantly blushed, cheeks were tinted in red pinkish shade. “shut up! you love shit like that.”
“that’s true. but i love you more,” said jungkook in the most sincere tone possible until he had to wiggle his eyebrows up and down and yoongi wanted to punch him in the face.
“what has gotten into you?”
jungkook laughed when yoongi’s face scrunched up cutely in disbelief and jungkook tried to suppress his laugh down and gently mumurred, “thankyou.. for last night.”
“i didn’t do anything for you though,” yoongi said. jungkook draped the duvet over them when he noticed yoongi started to shiver from the room temperature. yoongi got cold easily and jungkook tightened the hug.
“you, being here, helped a whole lot,” said jungkook. he chewed on his bottom lip and yoongi waited for him to finish. and then jungkook continued, “don’t go anywhere, hyung.”
yoongi searched for jungkook’s hand blindly under the duvet, intertwined and brought it to yoongi’s lips. he pressed a soft kiss on the back of jungkook’s hand, “told you, we ride and die together.”
and jungkook’s smile brighten, almost blinding and yoongi knew everything was fine. everything was always going to be fine if jungkook smiled.
yoongi patted him on the hips, sat up to rest on his elbow and said, “get up. let’s eat.”
jungkook whined and grunted, “no,” stretching it long to act cutely. yoongi sighed when he knew the hardest part of the morning was always dragging jungkook out of the bed. “let’s stay here,” he put another whine for yoongi.
“i can eat alone,” yoongi said nonchalantly and slid across the bed, letting his feet hanging off the end of the bed and searched for the hotel slippers he wore earlier. jungkook puffed a breath upward and made his hair flew for awhile.
he mouthed mean behind yoongi and twisted around yoongi to push him back into the bed for the second time in the morning. he pressed yoongi down against it, straddling him and smirked in victory. “jeon jungkook,” yoongi yelled in surprise. it was so loud that jungkook wondered if it had travelled to next door and might be thinking they were up to something naughty.
someone rammed their knuckles on the wall loudly as if the person was afraid no one heard it. they froze to listen. they knew the walls were thin but not that thin. seokjin shouted from the other side, “hey, lovebirds. i don’t want to hear more ‘things that i can’t unhear’ especially when i’m trying to eat my goddamn breakfast here.”
jungkook giggled inches from yoongi’s face, so bright and dazzling and it was all yoongi could see in his periphery. yoongi loved him so much but he was supposed to be mad at jungkook for yanking him back into the bed. they needed to eat. they had schedule to do. they had the second day of the concert and they needed to head for the venue.
they were supposed to rush and yoongi was supposed to be responsible as the elder in the group and dragged his own boyfriend out of the bed but instead he giggled together with jungkook and complied to him because what jungkook wanted, jungkook got. and also because yoongi couldn’t really say no to him, “my coffee has gone cold, baby.”
jungkook leaned down and whispered, “i can always make more for you later.”
jungkook pecked yoongi’s cupid bow and slid down lower to pull on his bottom lip. yoongi gasped into jungkook’s mouth but it was all muffled by their loud harsh breath. yoongi clutched on jungkook’s collar, holding the younger closer and melted under jungkook, letting the other to manhandle him.
yoongi hissed loudly and arched his back when jungkook slipped a hand into yoongi’s t-shirt, cold fingers against warm skin. “baby,” yoongi said in the kisses but jungkook hummed mindlessly, always listening.
“we need to eat,” yoongi said.
a kiss on the lips.
“we are going out by eleven.”
a kiss on the jaw.
“we have concert today.”
a kiss on the neck.
and yoongi gasped loudly.
“fuck. that better not leave a mark. we don’t have time, bun.”
jungkook pulled away and tilted his head to the side, staring intently into yoongi that it intimidated him and wondered if he had made jungkook mad for rejecting him.
jungkook put out his smirk, a predatory this time and yoongi knew what it meant. yoongi shuddered as he felt the chill, sending shiver down to his spine. “yoongi,” jungkook called, tone especially lower than usual and deep. yoongi gulped.
“what was it that you ever said?” jungkook asked.
yoongi narrowed his brows, not understanding what jungkook was referring to. yoongi’s confusion seemed to be additional pleasure for jungkook.
“slow down, baby. we have time,” said jungkook dangerously low.
and that was the last words exchanged between them before it all turned into more kisses, more love, skin on skin, craving for more. they didn’t have time but they could always make time for it.
it had always been like this with jungkook; unpredictable, spontaneous, adventurous and yoongi loved every single bit of it, willing to go along jungkook anywhere and anyhow as long as jungkook was happy.
it had always been like this, jungkook tugging on yoongi’s hand, slender and delicate fingers intertwined with yoongi’s calloused fingers and it fit perfectly like puzzle pieces. yoongi would always let jungkook led him, trusting his whole life to jungkook and never questioned anything because jungkook loved him. and he loved jungkook unbelievably so much.
and when jungkook grew tired, filled with anxiety, too afraid to make another step forward, yoongi would always be there to wrap him around into his embrace, blocking everything around. yoongi wouldn’t mind being the one to take that step in place for jungkook.
they worked their way around each other like this, taking turns, protecting each other, kissed each other’s pain away and loved. yoongi couldn’t see any future without jungkook.
it had been like this for awhile and yoongi planned to continue it for the rest of his life.
