taehyung huffs, squeezing at yoongi’s creamy-soft thigh. the heat from his hands radiates into the skin there, fireplace warm pleasant. the skin whitens around the imprints of his fingers. “i should just fuck you on stream.”

“No.” Yoongi shakes his head. “I -” He cuts off, eyes trained on where blood trails from his finger. The same finger that Taehyung just cut open.
Taehyung knows what this means, even if Yoongi says no. He knows how it works. Everyone knows how it works.“You’re my soulmate.”
Yoongi’s gaze slowly moves to where Taehyung is still kneeling on the floor. He stares down at him, expression completely blank. There is no happiness, no smile of recognition and relief. None of the things that Taehyung expected to see when he found his soulmate. Just a cold stare.

Taehyung has waited anxiously for the day he would finally meet his soulmate. Each bump and bruise that appeared on his skin over the years was just a reminder that his other half was out there. “It sounds like you think Min Yoongi is going to murder me.” When Namjoon only stares at him, Seokjin huffs. “Namjoon-ah, you know Yoongi.”

“Yoongi is my best friend.” Was, Seokjin’s traitorous brain whispers. “Everything will be great.”

Seokjin never meant to lose touch with his best friend. When he receives an email from Yoongi out of the blue, Seokjin impulsively books them a fishing trip to reconnect. It feels like there’s so much unsaid between them, maybe more than Seokjin even realized.

Summary
In an act of pure desperation, Yoongi grabs the nearest stranger and proclaims him to be his new boyfriend in an effort to prove his ex that he’s moved on. He realizes too late that said stranger turns out to be an ingenious marine biology major who surfs and looks to be sculpted by the gods.
