Summary
Digitally-Equipped Kinesics Unit (or DEKU, for short) was the new communication device that took the world by storm. It could be folded several times, charged with body heat, and most importantly—in times of emergencies, DEKU users could use its messenger to connect with nearby users even if the signal was weak.
Midoriya Izuku, the nerd that he was, ate instant cup noodles for three months just so he could save money to buy a DEKU. His schedule for the next week was booked, and half the time would be spent bonding with his new phone.
Izuku’s plans were ruined when DEKU started beeping like crazy. Thinking it might be someone who needed help, he answered the call.
Izuku got A LOT more than he bargained for: An angry guy who woke up all tied up in a ‘disgusting, godawful’ room, had no memories of himself, and someone was out there to kill him.
It was now up to the nerdy, instant cup noodles-obsessed college student to help the angry guy survive. Oof.
