Unfittingly Perfect

Summary:

Qi Rong was mean and unreasonable. Hua Cheng was shameless and crazy. They only had one thing in common: Taizi Dianxia Xie Lian.

Notes:

Hello. This is my first work in this fandom.

It's such a crack pair, isn't it. This pairing is born out of the idea that both Hua Cheng and Qi Rong adore Xie Lian lots. But in this universe, their adoration doesn't become such unhealthy obsession, and more like an admiration from a fan to their idol.

Well, be warned of the tags, and enjoy the story.

Chapter 1: Taizi Dianxia Limited Edition

Chapter Text

[01] Taizi Dianxia Limited Edition

“Excuse me, is that Taizi Dianxia Limited Edition?”

Catching a sight of a phone strap, Hua Cheng asked in awe at the owner of said phone strap—a stranger whom Hua Cheng had rudely grabbed. He didn’t care if the stranger thought him creepy. It was Taizi Dianxia Limited Edition Merchandise!—he didn’t think he would encounter such a treasure while leisurely spending time in a park.

“What of it?” The stranger asked back, wrenching away his arm from Hua Cheng’s hold.

Hua Cheng could hear the irritation from the stranger’s snappiness. Didn’t really matter though. The important thing was that the stranger didn’t immediately run away and even responded back. Maybe Hua Cheng could convince him to sell the strap to him.

"I am sorry for being rude. But—" Hua Cheng said with an expression of a sad puppy. “I have filled hundreds of forms but didn’t get lucky.”

The stranger shot an eyebrow up, appraising Hua Cheng up and down with slight trepidation. Hm? Now that Hua Cheng looked at the stranger carefully, the face seemed familiar.

“Do you want this?” The stranger raised his phone and pointed at the strap with a flick of eyes.

“Yes!” Hua Cheng answered immediately.

The stranger nodded. “I will give it to you if you lick my shoes,” said in decisive manner.

Hua Cheng frowned. “What?” he said. At Hua Cheng’s expression of disbelief, there was a hint of smugness on the stranger face, but before the smug smile could fully emerged, Hua Cheng continued, “That’s all? Easy.” And he started to lower himself to the stranger’s feet.

However, just before Hua Cheng’s knees could even touch the ground, a firm kick landed on his shoulder, pushing him backward.

“PSYCHO!” The stranger shouted in disgust, running away.

“Wait! Taizi Dianxia Limited Edition!” Hua Cheng called at the running back with a hand stretched out.
