Chapter Text
Green curls danced upon the breeze as the lone figure gazed in wonder at the city before him, it would be the last time he would ever see this city. The sky was slowly turning from blue to dusty pink with tinges of orange here and there as the sun slowly began to set. Sliver tears flowed down freckled cheeks as the boy clutched a charred note book to his chest. He took one last look behind him to make sure that his bag and the note he left behind was secure. There was no point in denying it anymore after all he was a failure a useless Deku with no quirk and no hope for the future. Because in a world where Quirks rein supreme there simply wasn't a place for someone without a quirk.
Ever since he could remember all he ever wanted was to become a hero, to save people with a smile upon his face just like the Hero All Might. But unlike his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugou a.k.a Kachan gained a powerful quirk shortly after his 4th birthday however Izuku Midoriya a.k.a Deku remained quirkless. But this never stopped him from believing that someday he could become a hero even if he didn't have a quirk he could still try right.
However the world was unkind to this pure hearted soul for in a cruel twist of fate his heart and soul would be crushed along with his dreams of becoming a hero someday. For on this day the life of Izuku Midoriya would be no more than a distant memory left behind.
"Hey if you want a quirk that badly then should go jump off the roof and pray for quirk in your next life" These cruel and harrowing words struck deep into the young boys heart causing it to break into pieces.
Katsuki Bakugou had once been his best friend, they were always together but the moment he found out that the greenette was quirkless he quickly turned from friend to bully. It was though he was a toy that had been cast aside for the newer and better model that had just come out. And so just like he was all alone not only did he have to contend with the bullying from Kachan but he had to deal with the torment and abuse from his father.
"You're worthless without a quirk........why were even born......................"
"You're nothing but a useless waste of space........."
"I don't need a son like you............"
These words came from his father once the man found out that his son was quirkless all of the love the man had for him disappeared in an instant. And his mother could ever do was apologise over and over again for Izuku being quirkless. It was no wonder why the greenette always kept himself covered up in even in the summer months when most people wore T shirts and shorts Izuku would be covered up. Most of the people knew what was happening to the boy but they just pretended like nothing was wrong because simply put why should they care about a quirkless kid any way.
Then there came the incident where he met All Might and found out about the Hero's true form even though the greenette freaked out at first he accepted it. With tears in his eyes and with all the courage he could muster he asked the hero if he could become a hero and save people even though he didn't have a quirk. But the hero did give him the answer he wanted to hear instead he shattered what little hope he had left in his dwindling dream.
"Without a quirk you'll never become a hero you should just forget it! dreams are nice an all but you should dream more realistically, become a police officer or something kid!" And with those final words the hero left the green haired young teen all alone on the roof of the building.
All of these words echoed in his head like they were playing from a broken record that was stuck on repeat. Those cruel words kept on playing over and over again like they were a constant reminder that his a quirkless, useless Deku that no one wanted.
As Izuku gazed at the city scape before him he wondered if he really would get a quirk in his next life, he hoped that this time around he wouldn't be useless. Izuku closed his eyes took a deep breath and jumped the life he once had would no more it would come to an end and he hoped that maybe it would lead him to a new beginning.

Katsuki Bakugou had been on his way home when he realised that he had forgotten his English text book which he needed to finish his home work. There was no way he was gonna let that green haired nerd beat him in the English test they had coming up. For some reason that damn Deku was always in second place when it came to their grades and one time he beat out Katsuki for the top spot when it came the history exam they had which really pissed off the ash blonde.
"That damn Deku needs to learn where his place is and that's in the background while I become the No.1 Hero of Japan" Katsuki mumbled to himself as walked back to the school grounds.
As Katsuki walked onto the schools premises he saw a figure standing on the roof, at first he thought that it might just be a teacher up their having a smoke. And so the boy shrugged it off after it was none of his business what his teachers did after school hours. Just as he was about to walk on by he saw a flash of green curls as the figure jumped from the roof. In a flash the realization hit the ash blonde as he recalled the words he had spoken earlier that day. Those hurtful, cruel , wicked words which had flowed out of his mouth like water, god he even smiled while he had said them. Oh god what had he done? He never meant for this to happen, sure he may have told the greenette to kill himself but he never thought that Deku would actually go through with it.
Katsuki screamed as he ran towards the falling figure but before the green haired boy even hit the ground below something strange happened. The greenette's body began to glow with a warm soft green light and the boy slowly began to fade away into nothingness. All that remained where a few specks of green light but they too slowly faded away leaving nothing behind. The only thing that remained was the boys bag and note that was left on the roof.
