    Summary

The bookshop was hidden away, sewn into the pastoral hills on the very outskirts of Tadfield. One would never know it was there, if they didn’t go intentionally searching, and that suited the old bookseller perfectly. Aziraphale, Guardian of the Eastern Gate, had vanished off the face of the Earth—rather, vanished somewhere on the face of the Earth. Neither Heaven nor Hell, nor even the demon Crowley, who had known the angel in Eden, held out any hope of finding him.
