    None of that was supposed to happen. I promised myself I wouldn't make the same mistakes as last year. I promised myself I wouldn't 'fall in love' like I did last year. But then, Mikey Way walked through the classroom doors on the second day. People fell in love, people got angry, people fell for someone else, people failed, people got cheated on, people got lied to, people almost died, people got bullied, people got beat up, people got sent to the principal and most things didn't make it to the finish line.

    "I'll hate you and you'll hate me?" he repeated.

    He thought about the offer for a minute, then nodded. "Goodbye, stranger," he waved as he walked away. Everything was so heartfelt.
