I don't even know, I just really want for Rocket and Groot to have already been in a relationship for a while before the movie, but the rest of the team doesn't realize it because they don't do the "coupley" things any of them expect from their own cultures/experiences/etc.
What kind of relationship is up to you - romantic, queerplatonic, basically anything. Can have a sexual component or not but I'd prefer no smut.
OR: the team does know, and other people they meet end up finding out because of things like idk Groot and Rocket sharing accommodations or bringing each other as a date to some function the group has somehow gotten invited to, etc. Maybe someone gets weirded out and the rest of the Guardians defend them (before Rocket can do it himself and get arrested)
OR a combination of the two prompts.
Basically I just want Groot and Rocket being a long-established couple and people finding out."
