"jimin? that's a beautiful name." jungkook said, hearing a soft giggle erupting from the other.
"yours aren't so bad too, jungkookie." jungkook could feel jimin nudging him and he managed a smile on his face.
jimin was on his way to get some food when he spotted jungkook sitting under a tree, his head seeming to look towards the sky. naturally, jimin being the friendly guy he is had approached the younger boy and now theyre casually talking together.
"oh i want to show you something." jungkook heard a rustling, as if jimin was rummaging through something. maybe it was his bag, and then the sound stopped.
"hey are you looking at it or not?" jimin felt a little hurt because it seemed like the boy beside him was ignoring him.
"um jimin, actually im blind."
"oh."
oh my god this is super awkward now, jungkook thought.
it was then that jimin noticed jungkook's walking stick lying on the grass beside the tree they were leaning against.
"jungkook, im sorry. i really didn't know that you can't see. im a little dumb, you see." jimin kept on ranting about how he was stupid and he must have been blind too to not notice jungkook's walking stick.
until jungkook burst out laughing.
jungkook couldn't help it, hearing jimin freak out over him being blind was funny. the boy next to him had a squeaky voice so it was entertaining.
although,
"its cute." jungkook, upon realizing what he thought had just slipped out of his mouth.
it left him feeling hot, his head filling up with blood as his cheeks and ears reddened.
now, its jimins turn to laugh.
"youre so cute, oh my god. do you know that you look like a tomato right now?" jimin said before smiling. his cheeks growing a tinge of red.
he too, got a little embarassed.
"well what if we go downtown to eat?" jimin asked.
"huh?"
"i mean, let's go on a date. i want to get to know you more." jungkook was left blushing before he stuttered out a yes.
"let's go!" jimin shouted, shocking little jungkook.
jimin took jungkook's hand in his, their cheeks both red from the contact.
so there they were, walking side to side, with each other's hands in their own and face smiling with red cheeks on their way to get some food.
