Featuring several implied pailings, moirallegiances of both the functional and laughably incompetent type, two failed romances, three betrayals, many instances of underage substance abuse, one duel, and, just possibly, a happy ending. Beautiful fic. Done nicely addresses the main problem and apparent wrongness of this sort of situation, and handles's KArkat vulnerability with class, and retaining his character. It's sweet, intelligible and classy, and definitely not what I expected when I clicked on it, and plays out like one of those sappy tragic books, that change your life.
