He had finally been assigned a psychic partner. It had been five long years since he joined the unit with the promise of working with someone gifted to solve homicide investigations. Somehow, he’d never been a match and he didn’t know if it was because his interpersonal skills were less than stellar or if his potential partners weren’t cut out for homicide investigations.
Turning to meet the retrocog, Pope almost stumbled; he knew his partner.
