And I'll Always Be Yours, Always

Summary:

Park Jimin, a worldwide class idol and Korea's It Boy was holding a fanmeeting and was about to make a surprise announcement at the end of the session.

What he didn't expect was to meet with his highschool ex-boyfriend, Min Yoongi, who he left to pursue his dreams to be an idol. He was there to accompany his baby brother and his bestfriend's baby brother who were huge fans of Jimin.

And what made it worse was when the surprise announcement was made, having Park Jimin spend Christmas Holiday with one of his lucky fans for a tv show, only to end up drawing Min Yoongi's name during the lucky draw.

...Which also meant that Park Jimin would go back to a place he once called home years ago.

Work Text:

"You gotta fucking kidding me" Yoongi groaned while massaging his throbbing head the moment he saw the huge ass sign in front of the five star hotel's grand ballroom.

"Huh?" Jungkook frowned with a displeased twist on his pouting lips, tilting his head to look at his angry big brother.

"No bad words, Yoonie hyung!" Taehyung scolded, glaring at Yoongi with his huge puppy eyes.

"What did I say?- You know what? How about we go to the themepark, hmm? It's.. It's still early and.. and we can stay till night?" Yoongi almost whined, almost but he didn't. He, Min Yoongi is a very calm and reasonable 24 year old man who fucking got Dean's List for every semester back in university and now is a very excellent intern in his father's well established architectural firm.

By well established it means that the company is a thirty story building in the heart of Seoul and his family is very rich and that too is one of the reasons why they can easily fly to the USA to join the meet and greet for this very popular idol.

And that particular idol who is domestically and globally very popular and eventually was picked as Korea's It Boy was also Min Yoongi's highschool sweetheart - who ended up leaving him heartbroken six years ago just to pursue his dream to be a very well known celebrity.

Well, I just hope you won't remember me, Park Jimin.

And why the hell did TWO six year old munchkins want to go to an idol's fanmeeting?!

Wait, how did they even get to go to a fanmeeting in the first place?!!

"Tae, tell me again, please. How did we get to attend this fanmeeting in the first place?" Yoongi asked, offering his infamous bittersweet smile to the kid who was now absentmindedly playing with Jungkook's fingers.

Naaaahhh..

I already know; just wanted to double check just so that I won't kill Jin without any solid reasons.

Taehyung twisted his neck to look at Yoongi, excitedly beaming before he hopped on his spot like a very thrilled kangaroo, animatedly explaining to his brother's bestfriend how they ended up here, about to attend the Park Jimin's fanmeeting.

"Jin hyungie told me he begged Jimin hyungie for these fanmeeting tickets! It's was for my sixth birthday!" the boy exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Tae..." Yoongi sighed, eyeing the fans who were now entering the ballroom, mostly holding gifts to give to Jimin, before he shifted his gaze towards the two little boys.

"Why can't you ask to meet him like.. normal?"

"Normal- What does that mean? Does that mean we are not.. not normal?!" Jungkook shrieked, mouth slightly parted before he closed his lips the moment Yoongi stopped him with a long and sharp ssshhhh...!!!

"I want to.. to meet him as a celebrity! Not as my brother's friend!" Taehyung whined, his focus was now on the ballroom's entrance door.

Yeah, of course Tae.

Of course.

Say bye bye to your sweet brother once I get my hands on him!

Yoongi grunted for the second time in the span of five minutes, hands itching to dial Jin's number so he could scream at him.

I'm so gonna kill you, Jin!

Yoongi was about to open his mouth, wanting to say something, probably luring the two cute little boys out from this damn hotel but then he stopped when a staff member suddenly stood before them.

"Good afternoon. Sorry, but we have an event here. Are you part of the event?" she asked, trying to offer her friendliest smile before she turned around to look at some girls who were begging to enter the venue.

"No-"

"YES! We are going to meet Jiminie hyungie!" Taehyung beamed along with Jungkook, making the girl smile wider.

"Can I see your tickets, please?" the staff member replied, now looking at the clipboard to check their names.

I'm doomed.

I'm so doomed.

I should have checked the tickets first but no Yoongi.

Your damn self chose to work even when you were supposed to have a vacation here and didn't even bother to check the tickets!

Yoongi internally cussed his damn self, taking a deep breath before he handed her the tickets' envelope.

"It will be the three of us. Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook and Min Yoongi" Yoongi supplied, ignoring how his baby brother and Tae Tae were now squealing in excitement while dragging him towards the ballroom as soon as they got their pass.

I'm so gonna kill you, Jin.

-----MiniMini-----

"Jin! Why the fuck did you ask me to bring them here?!" Yoongi whispered hissing on his phone, eyeing the grand ballroom on his seat before he squirmed away when Jungkook was pinching his thigh.

"Oww! What was that for?!" he hissed, swatting his baby brother's small hand away when Jungkook tried to pinch his thigh again.

"No cursing! Momma said we don't curse!" Jungkook scolds, pouting when Yoongi just rolled his eyes in return.

Yoongi could hear how Jin had the audacity to snort at their conversation, squinting his eyes dangerously at his phone before he let out a sigh to explain some bullshit excuses to his little brother.

"I'm not cursing. I was.. was having a conversation with Jin. You can't curse when you are little like you but once you are at least twenty years old, you can curse all you want like a pirate!"

Jungkook didn't say anything, only scrunched his nose in disbelief at Yoongi's words, before he turned his body to continue talking with Taehyung about the latest Pokemon episodes they watched yesterday.

Yoongi let out a sigh, an exhausting one before he continued his conversation with Jin.

"Are you trying to make fun of me or what? You know about him. I told you about my sad love story to you and Joon four years ago-"

"And it's been like what? Six years now, right Yoongi?" Jin quickly interrupted. Yoongi was speechless by those words, opened and closed his mouth just to find the right words to talk back to his bestfriend.

He then just huffed, biting the cuticle around his thumb but stopped when he felt Jungkook's small fingers were wrapping around his wrist.

"Don't bite your thumb, hyungie. It will bleed like last time" the boy pouted, facial expression and voice tone laced with concern.

Yoongi just smiled, ruffling his baby brother's hair before he started to mumble his words to Jin.

"I.. I should get.. get some closure, r-right? We.. We didn't have any closure back then when he left for this. But.. If he doesn't recognize me, I'm gonna take it as a closure too" Yoongi whispered his words, raising his hand to bite at his thumb again but was stopped by Jungkook who quickly interlaced their fingers together while still talking with Taehyung who was now talking about their classmate's new car toys.

Oh how Yoongi loves his baby brother so so so much!

"Oh Yoongi-"

"Wait, why didn't you ask Joon or Hobi to go with these kids? Why you are not the one babysitting Kook and Tae and attending this fanmeeting right now?" Yoongi cut in, eyebrows pulling closer together.

It's bizarre,

How Jin never told him he already befriended with Jimin; never even mentioned about Jimin at all.

He heard a sigh coming from his bestfriend for five years, along with Joon and Hobi - these  people he got to know when Jimin left him for his dreams.

It's selfish.

What Jimin did back then was selfish but it's okay.

Yoongi already made peace with it and now understands that humans can be selfish.

Some will choose ambition and dreams over love.

It's just sad that Yoongi would always choose love despite anything - and even when Jimin never chose him over his dreams to become a famous superstar.

"Yoongi, okay, I'm sorry. I should have told you but I know if I did, you wouldn't agree. Tae and Kook.. They- They already asked me many times now after Tae knew I was working with Jimin on his upcoming MV-"

"What?!" Yoongi hissed, eyes wide opened at the unexpected news he got from Jin.

"What the hell, Jin-"

"It was a month ago, for fuck sake! I didn't tell you because Jimin and I are not that close. We are just acquaintances but Tae was begging me day and night, especially for his birthday, and I had to be shameless and asked Jimin whether it was possible to buy the fanmeeting tickets for Tae and Kook" Jin explained, before he shouted at someone - probably his manager to give him another five more minutes to be on the phone.

"How much?"

"Huh?"

"How much did you pay for the tickets?" Yoongi asked, voice sounded serious while his eyes were now observing the small stage where the idol would be seated soon.

"The tickets were free. I told him it was for my six year old baby brother and his bestfriend and probably someone who would babysit them and he just gave them for free" Jin explained, agitated with how cold and serious Yoongi was right now.

Yoongi exhaled loudly, smiling at his brother when Jungkook gently squeezed his hand.

If only you knew your favorite idol was my ex, Kookie.

"Jin-"

"I'm sorry, okay. I really am. My schedule for the photoshoot didn't allow me to do so. Joon is having a due date on his thesis about the new herbs they found last March and.. and Hobi already planned his Europe trip and will won't be back until next week" Jin added, sounding so desperate for Yoongi to understand him.

Yoongi was about to open his mouth, wanting to telling his bestfriend despite him being completely uncomfortable right now, it's okay.

It's okay as long as Tae and Kook are happy and they just have to get stuck in there for three hours or so.

But then a beautiful voice suddenly echoed from the stage, singing some song that Yoongi always refused to listen to whenever Jungkook decided to play with his speakers at home, or when he was driving his car from the radio station he often listened to.

With a quick and hushed bye, he ended the phone call, smiling at Jungkook and Taehyung who were jumping with excitement in their seats.

It was one hour later after Jimin sang, answering random questions from fans and playing a few games with some lucky Fairies, his fans' fandom name that the popular idol made in a surprise announcement.

"Okay Fairies. are you having fun today?" he asked, smiling brightly and bashfully giggling when a fan shouted 'our Park Jiminie is as beautiful as an Angel' from somewhere around the front seat.

The fans answered with a very loud and excited yes, telling him that they can't wait for the signing of the album and the meet and greet session which earned another happy giggle from Jimin.

"I know. I know. I can't wait to meet each one of you too. Let's remember each other's faces, okay? I want to carve it in my heart, all my beautiful Fairies' faces"

And that was enough to earn some squeals and cheers from the Fairies - and also an eye rolling from Yoongi who just wanted to get out from this suffocating place, goddamnit!

"He called us pretty! He called us pretty!" Taehyung whispered squealing, which made Jungkook also try to suppress his excitement by pressing his small hands over his already smiling mouth.

"You are the prettiest, hyungie. The most beautiful person I've ever met and I'm so lucky to have you like me back when I confessed my love to you last year"

Yoongi frowned, shaking his head a few times to forget those words, the lies Jimin told him six years ago before he turned his head to scowl at Jimin who was now busy talking with a good looking man, probably his manager or a staff member.

Jimin cleared his throat, already flirtily smirking while eyeing the audience, before he opened his beautiful plump lips to tell them the good news.

"Surprise surprise, Fairies! I'm going to film a show especially for this upcoming Christmas season. Guess what? We are going to have a lucky draw at the end of this fanmeeting to choose one lucky fan who I will spend my Christmas with! So everyone, let's be excited together!"

Everyone was screaming, a few almost looking hysterical, too excited to be that one lucky fan who gets the once in a life time chance to celebrate Christmas with Jimin.

Yoongi scowled when he heard a few girls whispering to each other, hoping that the lucky fan would be them because they are 'pretty' and deserve to get the chance to spend some quality time with Jimin.

Whatever. They can pray or wish or dream or whatever they want. I'm glad it won't be me or Kook or Tae.

But if it's Tae then it's alright. I just don't have to visit Jin's house during Christmas and just go to meet them after this jerk goes back home.

But judging from the plausibility...

Naaaahhhh...

Yoongi just shrugged, scrolling his phone to look at some new designs for his father's latest mega project just like what he did for the past one hour while waiting for his two beloved babies' turn to meet their most favorite idol.

Time went by so fast like that.

It feels like Yoongi just entered the ballroom with Jungkook and Taehyung holding hands a few minutes ago and now it's their turn to have meet and greet session with the Park Jimin.

"Number 78, 79, 80" one of the staff called, waving her hand to gesture the said fans to start moving towards the mini stage in front.

Park Jimin's fanmeeting was always like this. Sometimes they only accepted a lucky 50 fans to get the chance for the meet and greet, and sometimes it would be up to 200 fans to have the chance to meet him up close like this.

And they always used numbers to make the session smoother, just like today - which they had 80 lucky fans to have the meet and greet session with another additional 70 fans to join the exclusive fanmeeting session.

Yoongi took a deep breath, eyeing Jimin who was now busy taking a selca, probably to post it on his social media before he turned to look at Jungkook who was now pulling his fingers and asking him to stand up as quickly as he can.

"Whiny baby" he teased, brushing Jungkook's hair away from his forehead with a gummy smile on his face before he did the same to Taehyung who was also busy trying to fix Yoongi's slightly messy black dark hair.

"Your hair already reached your eyes, Yoongi hyungie" Taehyung slowly whispered, before he snapped his head to look at Jungkook who lightly slapped his arm.

"My hyung is looking very handsome and pretty like that. I like his hair long like that" Jungkook scolded with a pout on his face.

Yoongi just snorted, letting out a breathy laugh while holding the boys' hands towards the stage, completely unaware of the surprised look coming from the famous idol.

"Y-Yoong-"

"Hello. I'm Taehyung and this is Jungkook and that's our appa!" Taehyung cheekily teased, covering his smiling lips with his hands to suppress a laugh.

"O-oh. H-hello" Jimin greets, trying so hard to push away the frown that starts to form on his face.

He pingponging his eyes at Yoongi and the two boys with a thin line forming on his usual plush lips, suddenly feeling hurt yet happy to finally meet his ex with his sons after five years trying to search for him.

Yoongi gently flicked Taehyung's nose, which earned him a grunt but then the boy giggled and turned his head to look at the flustered Jimin again.

"Tae, what did we say between joking and lying?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow, scrunching his nose back at Taehyung who pouted and do the same.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That's Jungkook's handsome big brother. I'm Jin hyungie's dongsaeng! Hello again" Taehyung continued, formally bowing with his hand folded in front of his belly, which Jungkook followed as well too.

Jimin was frowning his face for a millisecond, before he started to laugh along when he finally grasped the joke.

"Ah! You got me there, Taehyungie. And.. This is Jungkookie?" the popular idol asked, flicked his eyes to look at Yoongi who unfortunately didn't look back at him.

"Yes! I'm Jungkookie!" Jungkook beamed, slightly bouncing on his spot giddily.

Jimin was smiling and laughing while signing their albums, entertaining all the little chitchat from the two boys.

And finally it was time for Yoongi to give the album which he didn't buy. Nope. He never bought Jimin's albums out of bitterness and his unhealed heartbreak. The album he was holding was the one that Taehyung just gave him thirty minutes ago, saying that his Jin hyung already prepared that album for Yoongi too.

"H-hello Yoongi... ssi?" Jimin greeted, offering his ever breathtaking smiling eyes along with his beautiful smile, which used to make Yoongi head over heals for years.

Used to.

Not anymore.

"Hello Jimin-ssi" he pressed a strained smile, eyes not looking directly at Jimin who was still smiling at him.

The audacity.

Pfft.

"So, what do you want me to write for you here?" he asked, even though he already planned on what to write.

"Nothing. Just sign the album" Yoongi shrugged, now busy helping Taehyung to take out the gift he planned to give Jimin from his backpack.

Jimin just frowned, lips twisting in displeasure but the frown melted away when he felt a gentle touch on his forearm.

"Please write happy things for my hyungie. And.. and wish him to get love. He.. He's lonely if I'm not around" Jungkook quietly whispered his words, cupping at both sides of his mouth just to avoid Yoongi from eavesdropping on his conversation with the idol.

"Love?" Jimin quietly asked, leaning closer to Jungkook who was shyly avoiding eye contact with Jimin.

Awwww...

Just like Yoonie.

"Hyungie needs love" Jungkook nodded his head, but then quickly busied himself when Yoongi was done helping Taehyung.

"Jimin-ssi-"

"Call me hyungie, hmm?" Jimin offered, almost doubled over when he saw the two cute boys were gaping at him.

"H-hyungie?" Taehyung cautiously tried, flashing his rectangular smile when Jimin responded with a smile.

Both Taehyung and Jungkook gave the gifts they had prepared for Jimin - a handmade card from Jungkook and some artistic handmade clay bowl Taehyung probably begged Jin to help with.

Jimin said his thanks, holding the two boys' hands when they were pouting the moment the staff told them that their time was up.

"Thank you for being so nice and pretty, Jiminie hyungie" Taehyung mumbled, smiling when Jimin waved his hand and told them it was a pleasure to finally meet them.

And Yoongi,

He just walked away without even sparing a glance even though he could feel Jimin was burning a hole into his skull.

Yoongi only opened the album to look at the signature; his brain already trying to decide whether to sell it online at a very high price or probably give it to someone he knows for Christmas.

The first option sounded better than the latter if he was being honest to himself.

Yoongi frowned, did a double take the moment he looked at the first page of the photobook.

There was Park Jimin's signature in the middle of the page - Yoongi suspecting he purposely made it extra large.

Okay, that's fine.

That's okay.

But the short note and a phone number under the signature made Yoongi frown so hard that Yoongi was so sure he would get wrinkles earlier than he had expected to.

I miss you, please call me and let's meet up.

Yoongi just scoffed and was about to curse the hell out of Park Jimin when suddenly an announcement was being made.

"Attention Fairies. Hello. Just wanted to inform you that we are going to draw the raffle in ten minutes from now. So please anticipate it and good luck!" a guy named Lee Minho, probably Jimin's manager, making the announcement, before he put down the microphone on the table and whispered something to Jimin. The singer nodded before he left the ballroom.

"I hope it will be one of us! It would be fun to have Jiminie hyungie celebrate Christmas with us, right?" Jungkook beamed, which made Taehyung excitedly nod his head.

"I hope not" Yoongi mumbled alone, shaking his head and saying nothing when both Jungkook and Taehyung turned their heads towards him.

The ballroom was loud with the fans talking to each other, some being louder than the rest - probably sharing their conversation with Jimin. Yoongi was entertaining Jungkook and Taehyung, smiling while listening to the two boys chit-chatting about their classmates.

It was then silent again when Jimin entered the hall with a smile plastered on his pretty face. He cheekily glanced behind him, glancing at a big box carried by a staff member.

"It's time, Fairies!" Jimin beamed, giggling when someone screamed to pick her name.

Everyone was excited. Some were holding each other's hands, squealing while Lee Minho was explaining about their plan for the upcoming Christmas and the further discussion will be done privately with the lucky Fairy who gets the chance to spend the holiday with Jimin.

"But we have to get permission and consent from your family because the production crews will be filming all the activities planned by us and even by your family. Again, further discussion will be made privately. Thank you" said Minho, before he passed the microphone to Jimin.

It was nerve wracking to almost everyone in the room, everyone, except for Yoongi who prayed so hard that it wouldn't be his name or Jungkook's but knowing that the possibilities were low, he decided to not be too worried about it.

Yoongi was about to put the albums inside Jungkook's backpack after his baby brother finished admiring it, when suddenly he froze the moment he heard Jimin's voice call his name.

"Min.. Yoongi-ssi?"

-----MiniMini-----

"I can't believe you won, hyungie! We are lucky! We are soooo lucky!" Jungkook was hopping on his feet but stopped when Yoongi crouched down to tie his shoelaces.

Yoongi just ignored his little brother, feeling too grumpy to entertain the idea of having his ex-boyfriend for Christmas after six long years.

Yoongi was about to decline, feeling very uncomfortable about having Jimin spend his holiday with his family but then decided to go against it when he saw how happy Jungkook and Taehyung were when Jimin called his name as the 'lucky' winner.

Lucky my ass!

Taehyung will be there too, along with Jin, Namjoon and Hoseok to celebrate Christmas with Yoongi and his family in Seoul.

It was surprising to be honest, when Jin suddenly called him two weeks ago and told him that they already booked the flight to Korea and were planning to spend Chrismas with his family.

"Just be honest and say you guys just want to spend time with a superstar and go" he mumbled, narrowing his eyes at Jungkook when the little baby was asking their parents if Jimin could stay with them instead of sleeping at the hotel.

"Yes! Thank you for making my job easier. So... Your huge ass house has a lot of guest rooms, right? Tae can sleep with Kookie. So can we have two rooms for me, Joon and Hobi?" Jin sweetly asked, before he was yelling at someone, possibly Hoseok who was screaming over something.

"Fine. I'll let my mom know about it. You parents are okay you're not spending Christmas with them? Joon's? Seok's?" Yoongi grumbled, searching for his plan drawing for his latest project and was about to get a heart attack when Jungkook was about to color it with his colored pencils.

"It should be colorful!" his baby brother pouted before Yoongi quickly brings those papers into his office.

"Is Kookie okay? Anyway, naaahh.. My parents are okay with it. Joon's parents will go for a holiday in Morocco and Hoseok said his sister will bring his parents to Japan. So yes! They are all okay!"

Yoongi was letting out an exasperating sigh when suddenly he heard his mother call him from downstairs.

"Yoongi! Kookie! The guests are here!"

Yoongi was now massaging his temples with his fingers, staring at Jungkook who was now squealing excitedly while running down the stairs. He then followed soon after, dragging his feet towards the stairs.

Yoongi was scowling, digging a hole into the floor when suddenly he snapped his head towards Jimin when the idol had the audacity to greet him.

"Hello, hyung" Jimin greeted, voice gentle like honey, as always.

Yoongi was about to mumble his reply but then stopped the moment his eyes landed on Jimin.

There, before him was Park Jimin, wearing the baby blue sweater that Yoongi gave him for his birthday exactly six years ago, which was a month before Jimin decided to leave him to pursue his dream.

-----MiniMini-----

Yoongi felt so uncomfortable.

Extremely uncomfortable.

They were eating lunch together, with Yoongi's mom sitting at the head of the table because Yoongi's dad was still not home yet, Jungkook and Minho sat opposite of him while Jimin...

Oh God, Jimin..

He was nonchalantly sitting beside Yoongi, even daring to smile and offer to fill Yoongi's plate with food.

"I missed you, hyung" Jimin leaned in, slowly whispering his words when Minho was not looking. He knew his manager would ask him questions if he started to smell something fishy.

Yoongi just scowled, pulling his chair away from Jimin and acted like he didn't hear his words.

What the fuck is wrong with him?!

"Jimin-ah, it's been awhile, right?" Min Yoona, Yoongi's and Jungkook's mother suddenly spoke, offering her warm smile at Jimin who was busy staring at Yoongi.

"Ah, yes Min Yoona-ssi-"

"Aish, Jimin-ah, I already thought of you as my son. I literally helped your mom raise you. Call me mom like you used to-"

"Mom!" Yoongi hissed, frowning his face at his mom who just winked before she shoved a spoonful of rice and meat into his mouth.

"You two know each other?" Minho asked, face suspicious yet curious at the same time.

"No"

"Yes"

Yoongi and Jimin answered at the same time, gaping at each other after they heard each other's answer.

"Why did you say no?" Jimin scowled, glaring at Yoongi who was mirroring his facial expression.

"Because we really don't know each other" Yoongi replied, voice laced with anger.

Jimin just blinked, hands clenched to form fists. He almost, almost screamed at Yoongi if it wasn't for Yoongi's mom and Jungkook carefully observing them.

He didn't care about Minho.

Minho was his manager and that guy would always try to protect him as best as he could. Jimin always felt lucky to have a good manager who was eventually becoming his bestfriend throughout the years working together.

"Yoongi," his mom gently called, squeezing his hand to calm him down.

She knows why Yoongi is acting like this, being the person who was there when her son was struggling with his life after Jimin left to pursue his dream.

Yoongi was depressed for one whole year, delaying a year from studying before he enrolled as an architectural student.

He was moping and sulking, opting to just stay on his bed and do nothing; didn't even bother to go and bond with Jungkook although he was the happiest person on earth when he held Jungkook for the first time.

His mom also understood so well why Yoongi was acting like this. Jimin was his bestfriend since forever and eventually both became boyfriends when they were both 13 and 15 years old, but then ended things awfully the moment Jimin stopped replying to Yoongi's texts or even answering his calls.

"I think I'm full now. Thanks for the food, mom" Yoongi mumbled before he quickly stormed out towards his room.

"Oooookaaaayyy..." said Jungkook after a moment of silence, eyes pingponging between his mom, Jimin and the handsome man beside him.

"I'm sorry Yoona-ssi-"

"What did I say just now, Jimin-ah? Hmm?" Yoona playfully glared, making Jimin hang his head low with both regrets and embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, mom" he slowly whispered, trying his best to smile back at Yoona who already was smiling at him.

"It's okay Jimin-ah. Just.." Yoona sighed, trying her best to find the right words, before she huffed an air. "I don't know what happened back then but.. I'm sure you have your own reasons, right? Just try and talk with him, hmm? I'm sure he will listen"

"What are they talking about?" Jungkook slowly whispered his words after continuously poking Minho's abs.

"I don't know" the man replied with the same whisper, eyebrows knitting closer together while observing Jimin and the elder.

"Ask them"

"What?"

"Ask them!" Jungkook hissed, small finger kept on poking the man's tummy.

"Okay! Okay! But stop poking my tummy! It's ticklish" Minho hissed his words back, trying his best to gently swat Jungkook's hand away.

"It's hard. Something's different from Yoongi hyung's tummy. His is like.. marshmallow! So squishy!" Jungkook was already giggling, arms raising upwards before he turned his head to look at his mom.

"Mommy, can we have hot chocolate with marshmallows tonight? Tonight is Christmas Eve so we should drink something yummy!" the little boy was still grinning, letting out another happy giggle when Yoona pinched his cheek before his attention shifted towards the sound of the house bell.

"It's Tae Tae!" Jungkook gasped, quickly standing up from his chair before he tugged his mom to accompany him to the door.

Both Minho and Jimin were quiet for awhile, waiting for Yoona and Jungkook to walk a little bit further away from the dining hall before Minho carefully leaning closer towards Jimin.

"Can you please explain to me what happened between you and Yoongi-ssi? I'm.. I'm kinda lost right now. Are you two okay?" he asked with a frown, obviously concerned about the artist.

"I want to be. I've been searching for him for five years" Jimin sighed, clearly sulking by the way his bottom lip jutting out.

"Huh?"

Jimin exhaled loudly, rolling his eyes before he flicked his manager's forehead - it's rude because Minho is clearly older than Jimin but oh well, they already reached that level of friendship anyway.

"He was my boyfriend who I've been searching for years, dummy. We lost contact after I became a trainee. I told you that many times already, remember?" Jimin explained, narrowing his eyes at Minho who was idiotically gaping at him.

"No way"

"Yes way" Jimin pouted, resting his chin on the dining table, ignoring how Minho's jaw was still hanging.

"What do we do now? The production crew will come tomorrow for the filming and after the filming ends at night, we have to go back to the States, Jimin" Minho carefully uttered his words, eyes observing the way Jimin's shoulders slouched down.

"Can I not go?"

"Jimin, be realistic"

Jimin just exhaled some more, slowly knocking his head against the table before he mumbled his words, just to tease his manager as always.

"You know Lee Minho-ssi, you can be a very successful model, or even an actor.. If you aren't this annoying and stupid"

Jimin then giggled the moment Minho tried to kick his shin under the table before muttering how rude he was towards someone who helped him to be a superstar.

-----MiniMini-----

"Squishy.. Squishy.. So so squishy..." Jungkook sing-songed those words happily, cheek pressed hard against Yoongi's tummy.

"Marshmallow. Aummmm!!!" Taehyung added, blowing a raspberry at the milky skinned stomach, giggled along with Jungkook when Yoongi just sleepily mumbled some incoherent words.

"Tae, Kookie, don't disturb that squishy marshmallow. Let him sleep" Jin warned, grinning cheekily at Jimin who was staring at Yoongi.

"Stop staring. We know he's cute but you almost drooled now" Hoseok teased the moment he appeared from the kitchen, holding a tray of cakes and cookies while Minho followed behind while holding the same type of tray filled with cups of coffee and tea.

"'I'm not staring" Jimin mumbled, glaring at Minho who was snickering at him.

Jimin then pouted, glaring at the three guys who were silently mocking him - he knew because they were all exchanging glances while trying so hard not to laugh.

"You guys are evil!" Jimin whined before he bit his mouth, eyes wide when he looked at Yoongi when he started to hug both Jungkook and Taehyung; telling those boys to stop biting his tummy.

"He's cute! I want.. I want to squish his cheeks and.. and give him kisses" Jimin silently whined, kicking his foot in the air before he took a deep breath, trying to stay as calm as possible.

"Okay, I'm out. Gonna help momma Min with dinner. We don't want to starve on Christmas Eve, do we?" Jin announced, squeezing Jimin's shoulder once before he made a beeline towards the kitchen.

"Did you prepare any gifts for hyung?" Hoseok suddenly asked in a hushed voice, eyeing Yoongi who was already half-awake because the two little boys kept on blowing raspberries onto his skin.

"I did.. I.. I don't know if he will like it" Jimin shrugged, gnawing his bottom lip while taking a peek at Yoongi.

He really misses Yoongi, so so so much.

And getting to see him now, to finally meet him when he almost lost hope feels like a miracle.

"We don't know much about you and hyung," Namjoon's voice came out of nowhere, but Jimin could see how Hoseok tried to stop himself from laughing at Namjoon who was now almost covered with flour, but then he shifted his gaze back at the guy when he started to continue his words.

"But we know hyung loved you so much. Probably he's hurt but if you try to talk to him whenever you have the chance, maybe he'll listen and.. and give you the second chance?"

"But we don't promise that he will give you the second chance," Hoseok cuts in, pointing a tea spoon he was holding to alter his tea with sugar towards Jimin just to make his point clearer, "But then again, if you really want to fix things, it's always worth a try"

"I.. I want to make things right again.." Jimin whispered his words, more to himself to hear, before he took another glance at Yoongi who was already staring at him.

"Jimin-ah" Minho suddenly called, making the idol quickly turn his head towards him.

"It's been six long years, Jiminie. It won't be easy but you have to try. We probably won't have time tomorrow because we will all be busy with the shooting, so... you know what you have to do, right?" the guy offered Jimin a warm smile, silently mouthing 'you can do it' to the superstar.

Jimin..

He always tried his best to surpass everyone's expectations, trying so hard to give his all to his fans who always support and give love to him.

Minho has seen how the idol has grown from a very innocent and shy rookie to a superstar who has sold out stadiums for his concert tours.

The It Boy of South Korea.

But behind all the smiles and laughter, he always knew that deep down, probably at the base of Park Jimin's heart, he is still the young trainee he met six years ago.

Someone who tried his best and worked hard so that he could debut and be a well-known idol, making his mom and a boy named Min Yoongi to be so proud of him.

Jimin was about to open his mouth, wanting to ask something to Minho but then he froze, looking at Yoongi from his peripheral view when the boy was standing beside him, grabbing a cup of coffee and a few biscuits before he started to walk towards the door.

"What are you waiting for?" Namjoon asked, already lightly tapping Jimin's knee a few times before he stopped, bashfully apologizing to Jimin when he realized they were basically still strangers.

"It's okay. Hopefully I can be a good friend with all of you if Yoongi hyung wants to give me a second chance"

"It's not okay. Jin hyung will be all jealous because Joonie suddenly is being touchy" Hoseok teased, avoiding the remaining cookie that Namjoon threw at him.

"I'm telling mom if you don't clean that up, Joon hyungie" Jungkook frowned, small finger pointing at the crumbs on the floor.

"I'll tell Jin hyungie then!" Taehyung chirped from behind Jungkook, already dragging the boy towards the kitchen and called for his brother.

"This is all your fault!" Namjoon whined, already wiping the floor with the tissue before he quickly ran towards the kitchen.

"So Jiminie. What say you?" Hoseok asked, stretching his limbs before he rested his head on the sofa, heart hammering fast while anticipating for Jimin's decision.

Jimin gulped, fingers playing with the hem of his sweater, glancing at his manager who was already looking at him.

"Hyung," he started, gulping once before he continued.

"If.. If I decided to talk to him tonight, and.. and things go well, is it okay if I stay here longer?"

Minho was quiet for a while, sipping his coffee after he took a bite of the delicious butter cake, raising an eyebrow when Jimin started to bounce his knees.

"Well, as a manager... I can't let you do that," he stopped when he heard Jimin's infamous whine, but as usual, he was good at ignoring it.

"But as your friend and also your hyung, I'll try to make it work. After all, you haven't had any proper holiday this year and it's Christmas after all. I'll try to call the company now and ask about it" Minho grinned, winking his eye at Jimin before he quickly left the room.

Jimin was still grinning, sipping his coffee with a smile still plastered on his face, before he turned his head to look at Hoseok who was beaming at him.

"I hope it works out for you and hyung, Jiminie. Tell Santa all you want for Christmas is for Yoongi hyung to still be head over heels for you" Hoseok teased, smiling wider when Jimin started to pout, before he wished him good luck.

"I really wish to have Yoongi hyung back in my life as my Christmas present" Jimin whispered alone, glancing upward once, before he looked back at Hoseok who was now busy munching the cookies.

-----MiniMini-----

"Okay, tomorrow we will start with unwrapping the Christmas presents that we've agree with at.. 9 a.m in the morning? Yes! 9 a.m in the morning which means the crew will arrive at 7 to set up some things here" Minho explained right after dinner, eyes focusing on his tablet while the others paid attention to the filming schedule.

"So we have to wake up early, honey" Yoongi's dad, Min Daeri who came back just right before the dinner started slowly informing his wife, who was already planning to do so the moment she knew about it from Minho when he helped her prepared the tea.

"I'll wake up early too" Yoongi nods, trying his best to squirm away from Jimin when the boy tried to sit closer to him on the couch.

"And us too!" Jin added, smiling at both Namjoon and Hoseok when they both nodded their heads.

"Me and Kookie too!-"

"No. You will be all whiny and grumpy when you don't sleep enough. Hyung will wake you up when its time, okay?" Jin warns, voice sounding serious to match his face.

"'Okay" both Taehyung and Jungkook nodded their heads, pouting their lips in hopes that it would at least change Jin's mind - which obviously didn't work at all.

"Okay, and then we will record the breakfast and play some games prepared by the production crews. And anyone who wants to join doing outdoors activities, feel free to join too. They probably want to record something fun that the family would do together during Christmas" Minho explained, scrolling the tablet screen to read other details.

Everyone was talking about what to do or wear during the filming, being all excited about Christmas tomorrow.

"We're going to show off our magnificent ginger bread house, right momma Min?" Jin wriggled his eyebrows, laughing when Jimin protested that he helped too.

It was all loud and cheerful but then they paid attention at Minho once the guy asked them to give him a minute to add more information about tomorrow.

"Oh! And Yoongi-ssi and Jimin will have some one-on-one recording. They stated here it will be like a fan with idol session where you get to talk and do activities together"

"Can Kookie and Tae do the filming instead?" Yoongi asked with a frown on his face.

Jimin just sighed, harshly rubbing his face, feeling extremely frustrated after he heard Yoongi's words.

Yoongi was about to open his mouth but it only ended with a gasp when he realized Jimin was already dragging him towards the door.

"We need to talk" Jimin said, lips twisted in displeasure.

"It's cold" Yoongi mumbled, tugging his hand away from Jimin's grip.

"I don't care if it's cold or not!"

"Of course you don't! You never care!"

Yoongi shouted, almost, because he never raised his voice but it was enough to make Jimin gape at him.

It was quiet for a while, Yoongi breathing rapid and hard while trying to stop himself from shedding any tears, to Jimin who was just staring at the floor.

It was still quiet even after five minutes later, even when both of them started to shiver because it was still snowing and the weather was too fucking cold.

Yoongi was about to drag himself towards the door but stopped when he felt Jimin's chubby fingers wrapped around his thin wrist.

"I cared.. I still care about you..." Jimin whispered, too hushed to hear even though Yoongi still heard him.

Jimin took a long, deep breath, heart thumping hard against his ribs but he still tightened his hold on Yoongi's wrist before he lifted his head to make eye contact with Yoongi.

"I'm sorry for leaving. I.. You know it was my dream, right? To be able to perform on stage?" Jimin started, feeling his lips started to tremble when Yoongi tried to pull his hand away again.

"I was busy practicing-"

"Stop making excuses, Park Jimin. You know I was okay with you leaving even though I was sad about it. But you know I'm not selfish like that. I'm not mad about you leaving to become a trainee" Yoongi replied, voice sounding harsh yet bitter.

They both know so well the reason why Yoongi was hurt.

Why he got heartbroken and only managed to pull himself together after a year.

And it's definitely not because Jimin wanted to chase his dream as an idol - a very famous and popular idol like he is right now.

Jimin was shaking, feeling his chest tighten when Yoongi roughly tugged his hand away, but he ignored those feelings and quickly hugged Yoongi despite the boy desperately trying to push him away.

"Jimin-"

"I'm sorry I didn't reply to your texts or answer your phone calls. I'm sorry for not writing to you back. I'm sorry for pretending I didn't see you when you waved your hands at me back then when you waited in front of the company" Jimin spluttered his words, repeating those words in between sobs, hugging Yoongi tighter when he chanted those words.

He was crying so hard right now, regretting every single thing he did back then when he was a trainee.

He had to do that.

He had to follow all the rules and regulations set by the company based on the contract he signed - and having any relationship with anyone is strictly prohibited for trainees and rookies.

Yoongi was now idly standing in front of the entrance door, having Jimin wrap his arms around Yoongi with tears wetting his sweater.

He stopped pushing the boy away, hands now weakly resting on his sides instead of hugging Jimin back.

"I.. It's on the contract, Yoongi.. They didn't allow us to contact anyone during our trainee days. And.. and I got lucky when they decided to debut me after three months of training-"

"You could have told me about it you know?!" Yoongi interrupted, biting his lips to stop himself from sobbing too.

"I was an idiot, Yoongi. And.. and scared. I was scared if I messed up they would kick me out.. I.. I wanted to help my mom with our finances after dad died, you know? I know you know this, Yoongi. I told you before, r-right?" Jimin whispered, wiping the tears and snot with the back of his hand before he interlaced his fingers again to hug Yoongi's waist.

Yoongi was quiet, arms slowly wrapping around Jimin's waist the moment Jimin mentioned about his late father.

He remembers how hard Jimin cried for a whole month, mourning about his dad's sudden death because of a heart attack before he started to get a grip to help his mom the moment his dad's business went bankrupt because of treachery of his business partner.

It was awfully hard.

They had to survive with their savings while his mom started to work in the mall as a salesperson to avoid from spending too much money from the remaining money she had in her bank account - the only money they didn't touch because it didn't belong to his late husband or the ruined company.

And Jimin...

He could only think of one thing to help his mother to lessen the burden - using his talents in singing and dancing and starting to audition to be a trainee.

His mom wouldn't have to worry too much about him - having the company to provide him with food, places to live and school.

It would be easier for both of them; his mother and himself.

Yoongi's family wanted to help but they politely declined after Yoongi's parents helped them financially to still keep the house.

And Yoongi, knowing so well that Jimin always dreamed to perform on those big stages, along with his intention to help his mother, half-heartedly let him go.

Yoongi let out a sigh, tightening his hug once before he interlaced their fingers and pulled Jimin towards the outdoor sofa.

He let Jimin lean closer, resting his head on Yoongi's shoulder before Jimin hesitantly took Yoongi's hand to interlace their fingers again.

"After a year I debuted.. I.. I came back home, you know? I.. I didn't even go straight to my house, I went to yours instead. B-but, someone else opened the door and the next thing I knew, two girls were screaming right in front of my face"

Yoongi snorted, trying so hard not to laugh when he could imagine how pale Jimin's face was, most probably suprised because of the girls' screaming back then.

"Are you laughing at me, Min Yoongi?" Jimin pouted, poking Yoongi's chubby cheek thrice which finally make the milky skinned boy burst in laughter.

"You must have been so shocked when you saw your fangirls screaming at you!" Yoongi giggled, shoulders shaking vigorously, making Jimin lift his head to pout harder at him.

"They were my fans and I had to run away the moment they started to take a step forward towards me" Jimin whined, trying to suppress his smile when he saw Yoongi was smiling at him with his adorable gummy smile.

"Then what happened?" Yoongi asked, sounding more relaxed than ever.

Jimin silently prayed that their talk would end up well; would maybe  give him the second chance to have Yoongi back into his life.

"I cried when my mom told me your family moved to another city and she accidentally lost your mom's contact number and your new address. She told me she left the paper inside her pants' pocket and accidentally washed it away"

"You cried?" Yoongi asked in a hushed voice, staring at their interlacing fingers.

"I cried. Every single night for months. I tried to call you but you already changed your phone number. Tried to ask your classmates in highschool but they told me you didn't keep in touch with them" Jimin shrugged, wiping his tears with his fingers, before he added, "You can ask Minho hyung if you don't believe me"

"He knows?"

"He knows. He probably knows a lot about us. I told him many things about you, about our memories together. It made me feel that I still had hopes to meet you one day"

Yoongi nodded, wiping Jimin's tears away with his hand, before he hugged the boy as tight as he could.

They were silent a few minutes, quietly reminiscing their memories together; both good and bad.

Jimin took a deep breath, inhaling Yoongi's scent when he pressed his face at the crook of Yoongi's neck, before he mumbled something against the skin.

"What?" Yoongi asked, clearly couldn't decipher the words spoke by Jimin.

"You smell different. You didn't smell like this before" Jimin repeated, lifting his head to make eye contact while resting his chin on Yoongi's shoulder.

Yoongi scoffed, bopping Jimin's nose before he opened his mouth to reply something that was obviously obvious.

"It's been six years. Of course I smell different. We are different than we were six years ago. You too probably have changed a lot, just like I have," said Yoongi, words sounding more hushed at the end of the sentence.

They sounded sad, and probably regretful.

How they wasted six years apart from each other.

Six years of growing up to be someone better, someone more mature than before.

It's sad that they couldn't experience it together.

Couldn't see how the person they love so much grew up to be a cool adult - when they promised to witness each other to be those cool adults together.

"We lost those regretful six years, but can we anticipate more years together from now on?" Jimin carefully asked, lifting his head away from Yoongi's shoulder when he felt Yoongi shift his body.

"You.. You want that?" Yoongi responded with a question, carefully looking at Jimin's hopeful eyes.

Jimin took Yoongi's hands and gently placed soft kisses on his knuckles, resting their hands against his chest, right on top of his heart.

"Remember you told me back then, when I was four, that if I want something for Christmas, I should tell what I want to Santa right before I sleep?" Jimin whispered, another fresh set of tears already slipping down his cheeks.

Yoongi nodded, wanting to pull his hand away to wipe those tears away, but Jimin shook his head and tightly holding his hopeful future lover's hands.

"I did that the night before the fanmeeting. It's ridiculous, I know. But.. But I told Santa I wished you would be at the fanmeeting so that I could at least have the chance to beg you for second chance. I never even asked Santa for anything since I was twelve, you know?"

Yoongi snorted, laughing right in front of Jimin's crying face, gasping for air before he started to reply to Jimin's whine.

"You know the reason why you stopped believing in Santa because you heard your parents' conversations having your dad wear a Santa's costume while putting the presents under the Christmas tree, right?"

Jimin just huffed, gently slapping Yoongi's chest while complaining how Yoongi was still mean to him.

"Sorry, sorry" Yoongi winked, offering Jimin's most favorite gummy smile for him to see.

"So..." Jimin started, biting his lips while looking at Yoongi through his lashes, before he continued, "Do you want us to be boyfriends again?"

And Yoongi let out another laugh, making Jimin displeasure twist his already pouting lips.

"You don't want to?" Jimin asked again, eyebrows pulling closer together to form a scowl.

Yoongi just shook his head, before he gently patted Jimin's smooth chubby cheek.

"We have to go on a date first"

"Date?"

"Yes, date" Yoongi replied, rolling his eyes when Jimin crossed his arms against his chest while huffing in disapproval.

"Why do we have to go on a date when we can just straight away become boyfriends again?" Jimin whined, jutting his bottom lip further away to make a deep pout.

"No date? Alright. Guess we don't have to have the chance to start over-"

"Okay! Okay! Date! Let's have a date! You know what? Let's have lots and lots and lots of dates! Happy?" Jimin mocked, whining again when Yoongi flicked his forehead while complaining about how unromantic his future boyfriend was.

Jimin was rubbing his forehead, threatening Yoongi that he would have to kiss his forehead tomorrow if the flick left some mark on it - which only made Yoongi roll his eyes again, but stopped when he saw something above them.

It was mistletoe, hanging right above him and Yoongi.

Jimin bit his bottom lip, before he eyed Yoongi who was already squinting his eyes at him.

"Yoongi, look! We are under the mistletoe!" Jimin beamed excitedly, pointing at the mistletoe before he looked back at Yoongi, who just scoffed and looked unimpressed.

"I don't kiss random people, Jimin"

"But I'm not random people, hyung!"

"We haven't gone on any dates yet. I don't kiss my friends either. Imagine if I kissed Hobi, or Jin, or Joon" Yoongi deadpanned, which only made Jimin huff another air and mumble how ridiculous he was right now.

"If I told anyone that you just denied a kiss from me, they would say how unbelievable you are"

"I have kissed you many times before. No big deal" Yoongi retorted, trying to hide his grin when Jimin just frowned deeper than before.

Jimin just let out another loud air, glaring at the hem of his shirt with a cute pout on his lips.

"Jiminie-"

"It's fine. I can wait for next Christmas then"

"Park Jiminie-"

"We can kiss under the mistletoe next year. I can wait that long. It's okay-"

And the moment Jimin wanted to lift his face to look at Yoongi, he could feel Yoongi's hands were cupping his cheeks, soft lips peppering all over his face.

Yoongi kissed his forehead, his squishy cheeks, his cute little nose, his eyes, his chin, the area in between his eyes, at the corner of his lips, and back again to his forehead.

Jimin was giggling, wrapping his hands around Yoongi's wrists, enjoying those little kisses all over his face.

Yoongi then let go of his face after one last peck on his forehead, leaving only the lips as the only spot he didn't kiss.

Jimin was about to lean closer towards Yoongi, wanting to kiss those lips he missed for six long years, before Yoongi pinched his nose to stop him from doing so.

"Stop being cheeky! I won't let you kiss me until we have our date!" Yoongi playfully scolded Jimin, already standing up and making a beeline towards the door.

"Yoongi, don't act like a virgin" Jimin whined, stomping his feet while dragging his body to follow Yoongi before he stopped only to see Yoongi's tense body standing before him.

Jimin gasped, closing his gaping mouth with his hands.

"You are a virgin, too?"

"What do you mean am I a virgin too?" Yoongi asked, face already blushing red.

"I'm a virgin too!" Jimin exclaimed, excitedly throwing his arms upwards just to make it more dramatic.

"I'm glad because I was hoping to have my first time with you-"

"Me too!" Jimin shrieked, making Yoongi snap his head to look at the overly excited and happy Jimin.

"Yoongi! It's Christmas-"

"Nope"

"We should give each other gifts, right?"

"Nope"

"How about we.. we give ourselves to each other as a present. I can.. can find some ribbons and tie a bow around me- Wait, I should tie it around my waist, right?"

"Oh my God, stop Jiminie!" Yoongi exhaled, squeezing Jimin's cheeks who was now cheekily grinning at him.

"You are lucky I still love you, you know?" Yoongi whined, scrunching his nose when Jimin gave him continuous flying kisses despite his cheeks still being pressed by Yoongi's hands.

"I know, Yoongi. And I love you too. I still love you just as much as I loved you back then, and I know even more in the future"

At that, Yoongi beamed widely, gummy smile adorning his happy face.

"Thank you for being here with me for this Christmas, Jiminie"

"Thank you for agreeing to be my most precious Christmas gift, hyung"

And Yoongi leaned in to give another kiss on Jimin's forehead, before they entered inside with fingers interlaced together.
