Summary
Parts of the castle were unstable, crumbling even as the living searched for survivors and the dead. It was a long night, dust barely settling before walls crumbled. The injured and the young remained in the Great Hall, tended to by Madam Pomfrey as more and more dead were brought in to be identified and claimed.
Harry is asked back to Hogwarts and, despite the pain and tragedy, he agrees to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor only to find everything he needs in Snape
