   Summary

   Dirk was able to see past that thin veil. Like him John was just as lonely and untrusting as he was. John used jokes and pranks to hide the fact that out of everyone, he has the worst PTSD directly caused by the events of the game. Yeah sure everyone had a ruff time but they had someone to rely on. Rose to Kanaya, Dave to Karkat, Jane to Jake, Roxy to Calliope. Dirk had long ago accepted he is unstable, long before the game.
