The noise that erupted out of Class 1-A's bus was almost deafening as the class drove to Musutafu's Trans Pride Parade. Kirishima was yelling over Bakugou's head at Sero while the blonde tried to apply pink and blue face paint to the others cheeks. Eventually, he dropped the paint with a annoyed sigh as his boyfriend jumped up and sat down next to Shinsou, who was tying an agender flag around their shoulders. Todoroki was sitting towards the back with a elated Midoryia, looking a little overwhelmed as Uraraka helped them put hair chalk on the white side of their hair in the colors of the nonbinary flag. Kaminari was loudly asking Shinsou about which headband would look best with her skirt.
To be honest, it was complete chaos and neither Aizawa or All Might really knew how to deal with around twenty excited children jumping around the bus. Iida even seemed to lax on his rules as his girlfriend smiled at him after doing Todoroki's hair. It seemed like they all would never go to the parade fast enough. It was the first year that Musutafu was having a pride parade as the Winged Hero Hawks sponsored the entire event. It shocked the nation when the No.2 hero came out as a trans man but it didn't even slightly slow him down as he continued his hero work and advocated for trans rights. Tokoyami was probably one of the proudest people to hear his mentor had finally came out.
"We're here," Aizawa's tired voice said over the wave of children. It was just loud enough everyone sat down and shut up, no one wanted to be sent home from the field trip. "Let me restate the rules: absolute no one is allowed to wonder off from the group. We want you to enjoy yourself but your safety is important." He sighed as he continued, "There might people who share...different opinions. You are not to engage with them. If anyone of them says or does anything to you notify All Might or me eminently."
The man nodded at the bus driver who opened the doors. All Might smiled to the students before he followed Aizawa out of the bus. Iida's voice declared that they should all leave one by one to which no one but Uraraka, Midoryia, Todoroki and Tsu listened to. Kaminari jumped around, smiling widely as she saw several thousand people already walking down the cleared road.
"There's so many people!" Kirishima said, gripping Bakugou's hand, dragging him around. Aizawa sighed one last time, "Alright, stick together. We will be behind you all, so try to refrain from doing something stupid."
And with that, the students walked into the amounting crowd. Iida hoisted Uraraka on to his shoulders so she could look around, a small trans flag clip in her hair. Todoroki smiled softly as Midoryia kissed his cheek softly. They were not out to many people and Midoryia knew better than anyone how much this meant to his partner that they were finally able to be open.
People laughed all around them, playing music and dancing as they walked. There was a medium sized stage at the end of the street where a few speakers would talk before the event "officially" ended for the day. The class, of course, broke off a little. A few small vendors were selling foods like cupcakes and ice cream to help combat the warm spring air.
The crowd erupted into cheers as they all got closer to stage. The students looked forward, not seeing anything until they looked up. Hawks had soaring above them, wings painted pink, white and blue. He landed onto the stage, waving at everyone with a bright smile. Midoryia, of course, took out his phone taking a picture, wondering about how the paint might effect the hero's feathers.
Shinsou felt happiness that rivaled being accepted into the hero course as another person with a agender flag high-fived him.
It was a peaceful sort of chaos as everyone stood around, hearing Hawks speech. The entire class felt a varying sort of buzz being around so many happy people. Aizawa let out a small huff of a laugh as Mina shoved a part of a rainbow cupcake into Kirishima's mouth. Yeah, this was worth taking a day off from hero training for.
