    The mysterious sword that Sizhui seemed to know how to wield was gone. So was Jingyi’s. The creature came closer and Sizhui instinctively bent over Jingyi as if he could just shield him, just a bit. He squeezed Jingyi and Jingyi squeezed his wrist and then, when Sizhui was expecting to feel pain, he felt nothing.

    In fact, it felt like he was falling.

    Or: One night hunt goes terribly, horribly wrong, and with Jin Ling caught in a mysterious coma no one has answers to how Jingyi and Sizhui disappeared before their very eyes, nor any idea how to get them back.
