Flower girl Eri

Summary:

Eri discovers pictures of her two daddies without her in them. She's curious of why.

Notes:

I really been loving writing cute fanfiction with Eri, It's real relaxing after doing a whole week of school work. This is another Au with Eri born from a Teen mom gave up for adoption to Deku and Todoroki.

Work Text:

It was a beautiful summer day in the apartment complex of where the family lived. Eri was coloring a picture of her and her dads Shouto and Izuku Todoroki, while the TV had the news on about one of her dads Shouto as he was fighting criminals robbing a popular store.

Izuku comes by with laundry in his arm to put away "That's a beautiful picture Eri. What's it suppose to be?"

Eri giggles looking up at her dad "It's a picture of me, you and daddy. With lots of hearts because we love each other a lot."

Her dad couldn't help but give a big smile before kissing her cheek "Me and daddy love you more than anything Eri. I'm going to take his laundry and put it away, think you will be okay by yourself for a few minutes."

Nodding looking up at her dad Eri replies "yeah, I'll be fine Dad." Izuku giggles patting her head "okay, call me if you need anything." walking off with the laundry to the rooms of where they belong to.

Eri continues to draw but her red crayon got to small for her to use "no.. that's the only red one.." she whines but a idea came to her. In her Dad's office when he did work from home he had a lot of markers, and pencils maybe he had crayons.

Getting up from her spot on the couch she goes over to Izuku's office the door closed in front of her. She reaches up to the handle on her tiptoes the tips of her fingers barely reaching it she pouts her feet back on the ground not able to reach it. Though Eri wasn't the one to give up if there was one thing she learned from her dads was "go beyond, plus ultra."

She clenches her fists together reaching up trying again doing a jump and grabbing the handle! Her face now full of joy she turns the handle opening the door as it creaked opening. Eri walked in looking around seeing a very clean office nothing was out of place.

"Where does dad keep the crayons?" she questions

Spying a cabinet she walks over to it, the cabinet looked like the one daddy tells her to put her art supplies in. So maybe this was were dad keeps his. Taking a hold of the knob in her hand Eri pulls the cabinet door open she blinks looking inside no markers, crayons, or colored pencils.

Though there was a big book. Taking the book out Eri tries to read the cover not recognizing and words she knew only her daddies names, so this must be theirs'. The little girl knew not to look at any of her dads personal things but curiosity was getting the best of her and she turned over the cover.

Her eyes widen seeing a picture of her dads in fancy suits holding hands with each other and smiling. She turned the page seeing more pictures of them together being happy "when did this happen?" she asks herself "I don't remember any of this.." continuing turning pages she recognizes a few more people "Auntie Ochako, Auntie Tsuyu, Nana Inko.." she says pointing to the people in the pictures she knows.

Another page turn "Uncle Tenya, uncle Kiri, uncle Katsuki…" her lips start to quiver and tears start to form in her eyes "Where am I? Why aren't I here with dad and daddy? Was I a bad girl and wasn't aloud to come?" closing her eyes she closes the book.

Picking the book up she closes the cabinet, walking out of the room once out she places the book down and closes the door. Before picking the book up again she takes it to her room and stays in there all day.

~*~*Timeskip~*~

Todoroki opens the door coming into his apartment "Izuku, Eri I'm home." he looks around not seeing his partner or daughter anywhere. He goes over to the dinning room table putting his stuff down hearing Izuku down the hall "Eri honey, please come out! Whatever it was I didn't mean to hurt you!"

"No!" a shout comes from the other side of the door.

Shouto walks down the hallway to where his husband was "What's going on Izuku?" a small gasp comes from Izuku before he turns around hugging his husband "Shouto!" they pull apart kissing each other on the lips quickly.

"Eri's been in her room for most of the day. And I don't know why, she was just drawing then just went into her room! I thought she'd come out so I waited but it started to become longer and longer, for the past few minutes I've been trying to have her come out!" Shouto puts a finger on Izuku's lips "Izuku you're starting to ramble. I'll take care of this."

Shouto lightly knocks on the door "Eri… It's daddy, from what I got from dad you're a bit upset about something. That right?"

"yes." he smiles hearing a reply

"Can we talk about it? So you can feel better."

The door clicks indicating now unlocked and opens Eri comes out with the book in her arms a few tears still in her eyes "Why isn't there any pictures of me in this book?"

Their eyes widened looking down at the book that she was holding from their wedding day. "Oh, Eri were you in my office today? You know I can't have you in there." Izuku scolds a little

"I'm sorry dad, but I ran out of the color red on my crayon and I was looking for one in your cabinet and I found this book. I only recognized your names and wanted to see."

She sniffs "And there wasn't any pictures in the book if me. Was I a bad girl and not aloud to go to when these pictures were taken?"

"No, no Eri you're never a bad girl for dad and me. This book was of our wedding, you didn't exist yet when these were taken." Todoroki comforts her petting her head Izuku nods "yeah, we got you a year later. You remember that picture of me, daddy and the young woman we showed you?"

Eri nods

"Well, that was your birth mommy who didn't have what she needed to take care of you so. After you were born she gave you to us to take care of."

"But why didn't you wait for me? I would have liked to be apart of your wedding daddies. It's not fair!" she hands the book to Izuku as more tears came down before going back into her room locking the door.

Izuku's heart dropped as his own tears started to form in his eyes "Our baby hates us.."

Shouto comforts his husband rubbing his back "Don't worry Izuku I have any idea."

~*~*~*~

Eri was on her bed holding onto one of her cat plushies uncle Aizawa gave her. Meanie Dad and Meanie Daddy. They could have waited for her before having the wedding. "If dad and daddy don't want to have me at their wedding then I'm not going to invite them to any of my ballerina lessons or school plays!" she told her cat plushie.

A knock came from her door again "Eri. Can Dad come in?"

"No."

Then she heard a muffled "Turn the violin music on." and heard the sound of a violin getting up from her bed she unlocked the door seeing Izuku dressed up in a tuxedo "Dad what's going on?"

"I need you to do something for me Eri. Think you can get your pastel kitty dress? The one uncle Aizawa gave you."

"um.. okay.."

They walk over to her closet together Izuku takes out her dress knowing that it was her favorite and dresses always cheered her up. He helped her into the dress and takes her hair out from the dress that got caught in it while she was putting it on.

"You look beautiful sweetie. Can you do a little spin for me?"

Eri does as told and spins slowly Izuku doing a little clap. Once done Eri looks back at her bed seeing a basket on top of it she goes over to it picking it up noticing that it had flower petals in it. The little girl was still very confused "dad, what's going on? What do I do with this?"

Izuku only smiles "I'll tell you. When we walk out think you can throw the flowers down on the ground?"

She nods again. Izuku puts a hand on her back leading her out into the living room Eri was amazed it looked so beautiful like how it did in the pictures in her daddies book. "Okay honey, start throwing the petals on the ground." Izuku whispers

Eri smiles and starts throwing the flower petals on the white carpet having her dad step on them. She was their flower girl!

Izuku was holding a bouquet in his hands as he did. Once getting up to where Todoroki was standing the two husbands held hands with each other, she understood what was happening they were getting married and she was there with them! Her dad and daddy were the best!

"Ready for the vows, I-if you remember?"

Shouto chuckles "I'd never forget my darling."

Clearing his throat Todoroki starts his vows "Izuku Midoriya, from the moment you told me that I my power is mine and not my father's I knew that I couldn't live without you. You make me feel like I'm a different person and all I can say is I hope to forever be by your side now matter what."

Izuku sniffs starting to feel emotional like on their actual wedding "Shouto Todoroki, I also vow to never leave your side. You're the one who's always there for me even when I say I don't feel well, you stay with me and it makes me so happy! I can't wait to start this new life with you."

With that they hand each other their rings before kissing. Eri claps and cheers "congratulations daddies!"

They both laugh at how adorable their daughter was Izuku gets an idea "hold on, let me get something." he leaves Shouto and Eri before coming back with a camera and camera stand placing the camera on top of it setting the timer.

"There we go."

Hurrying back up to his husband and daughter he counts down "three.. two.. one.. say Cheese!"

"Cheese!"

The camera clicked as the picture was taken of the family.

From that day on they created a new photo album for their whole family.
