Summary
Bobby died and Eddie left. Bobby died and Eddie left. It was like those words repeated in his mind over and over. Nothing was the same any longer. The thought of working at the 118 made Buck feel like his chest was caving in and he couldn’t breathe. Sure Hen, Ravi and Chim were there but the feeling of home was gone. Buck didn’t even know if he wanted to be a fire fighter anymore. He didn’t feel the joy or purpose any longer. The fire had burned out, no pun intended.

What if Bobby really did die and Eddie did leave to go back to El Paso? What does Buck do when everyone leaves??? He packs up and runs away only to come back 3 years later.
