MiyukiKazuya: I’m watching ACEOFGAMING’s stream right now. Is he always that loud?
shslcheetah: sawamura? Yeah, he’s always loud. Part of the reason why he’s so damn popular. there never seems to be a dull moment when he streams.
MiyukiKazuya: So I’ve noticed. How did you happen to become friends with someone like him?
shslcheetah: well, we’re not really friends? he gets on my nerves
MiyukiKazuya: Oh.
shslcheetah: to answer your question, i met him through ryosuke’s (betterthanyoux) younger brother (stwabewwydevil) Haruichi
shslcheetah: i actually didn't want him to join our group in the beginning but ryosuke was getting mad at me for refusing to interact with somebody with such large numbers when i was your friend
MiyukiKazuya: You didn't want him in your group because he has a large audience?
shslcheetah: that's only one of the reasons. The other is because he’s loud and can wear you out very quickly
MiyukiKazuya: Harsh.
MiyukiKazuya: Even for me.
shslcheetah: hey now
shslcheetah: i’ll admit that i was wrong about him
shslcheetah: but we still aren't friends. I think it would be weird to call him my friend. Its a love hate relationship, yknow?
MiyukiKazuya: I see.
MiyukiKazuya: So why did you invite me to join your group?
shslcheetah: didn't i tell you already? we wanted another person for a while but didn't want to pick somebody none of us knew. since i'm one of the cofounders, everybody agreed when i mentioned you.
shslcheetah: i’m still surprised you agreed to join us so quickly
shslcheetah: especially when you don’t know anything about the others
MiyukiKazuya: I trust your judgement. Besides, streaming alone can be boring. I would like to keep me and my audience entertained.
shslcheetah: was that a compliment, kazuya?
MiyukiKazuya: Take it as you will.
shslcheetah: ill take it as a compliment
MiyukiKazuya: Good choice.
shslcheetah: so…
MiyukiKazuya: So?
shslcheetah: will you be joining us for our next group stream? We’re planning on playing minecraft. Ryosuke and Furuya can’t make it so it would be a good time for you to get to know Sawamura nd Haruichi better
MiyukiKazuya: When? What time?
shslcheetah: well, we’re starting at 6 on tuesday. you can join at any time though. There isn't a set time.
MiyukiKazuya: Sounds good. Let’s keep it a surprise though, yeah? Our audience doesn't need to know anything until we go live.
shslcheetah: that all depends on if sawamura can keep his mouth shut
shslcheetah: he’s been hinting at a new friend since i told him about you
MiyukiKazuya: Oh?
shslcheetah: do you not follow him on twitter?
MiyukiKazuya: I don’t think I do?
shslcheetah: you should do that
shslcheetah: and follow everyone else while you're at it
MiyukiKazuya: Ok. I’ll follow everyone. But, what is there to see on twitter?
shslcheetah: stop messaging me and find out yourself, loser!!
Kazuya chuckled to himself as he read the message. Closing out of Discord, he opened up Twitter. He rarely ever went on social media, even as a streamer. There was something special about playing video games in front of a live audience. The only reason he got twitter was so he could tell his audience when he wouldnt be able to go LIVE. There was a strict schedule Kazuya streamed on. Sunday and Monday were his off days. Every other day he was streaming. Now, he wondered, since he’s in a streaming group, would that schedule change? Ah, there was still so much for him to ask and figure out. He hadn't expected Kuramochi to ask him to join his friends in their streaming endeavours. When he read his message asking him to join he was still waking up from a midday nap. Before Kazuya knew it, he had agreed to join. No questions asked, just a simple yes. That was a little over a week ago now. Still, Kazuya refrained from asking too many questions about Kuramochi’s friends and what sort of things they talked about. He assumed that was something he would have to find out himself. Kazuya had always been a popular streamer, but things really took off when he had his face revealed to honor reaching a specific sub goal. Within days he had been tagged in fanart and edits of him in real life. Even though it creeped him out in the beginning, he had become used to it. His numbers would scare off any small streamer so there weren't many people in the community he would consider himself friends with.
Within seconds of scrolling through Sawamura’s incredibly active twitter page, he came across what Kuramochi had been referring to. The obvious hint of his arrival into their streaming group.
Kazuya had to smile. Sawamura’s audience had been requesting him to play with me? Funny how things worked out. I suppose my audience has been requesting for me to play with somebody else, too. Ah well, this is sure to make our fans happy. That was one of the joys of being a part time streamer. It was good money, and you made people happy. Oh, it was also enjoyable. Takes my mind off of university. If I really wanted to, I could drop out and become a full time streamer. Though, my father wouldn't like that.
Kazuya slid back to the top of Sawamura’s page and followed him back. Quickly, he began to follow all of his new streaming friends. The similarity in numbers between him and Sawamura was astonishing. Sawamura was popular. Very popular in the gaming community. Kazuya was amazed at how he had never heard of him until Kuramochi had talked about him. None of them lived near each other. The only people in Kazuya’s new group that had met in person were Haruichi and Ryosuke, and that was only because they were brothers. Kuramochi and Kazuya had been long time internet friends who met through an online Modern Warfare lobby. That was some time ago, though. Yet still, they remained friends. Kazuya, while he would never admit it, would call Kuramochi his best friend in a heartbeat. He often found himself wondering what Kuramochi was like in person. Was he still the annoying prick he knew online? Or was he soft and insecure? It would be nice to meet up with everybody in person. Scary, but nice. Maybe someday. After he had gotten to know everybody better. For now, he was content with knowing them over the internet.

shslcheetah: you would have to ask him that, i don’t typically watch his streams or read his chat. If he’s not playing with us he ends up streaming at odd times in the night. His sleep schedule has to whack
MiyukiKazuya: Who are we to judge? We played Animal Crossing a couple of days ago until 4 am on a school night.
shslcheetah: tsk tsk

MiyukiKazuya: No, I streamed earlier.
shslcheetah: an early stream??? How unlike you!
shslcheetah: i’m streaming some horror games tomorrow. I reached my sub goal and people wanted me to play fnaf again.
MiyukiKazuya: Five Nights at Freddys? Again? Are you going to bring out your purple bunny costume again?
shslcheetah: NO!
shslcheetah: never again will that ugly ass costume see the light of day
shslcheetah: i would have thrown it away already if it didn't cost me a damn fortune
MiyukiKazuya: I think you should bring back the purple bunny costume.
shslcheetah: please for the love of GOD will you stop talking about the bunny costume? I will never bring that horrible thing back!
MiyukiKazuya: Ohhh, what a shame. I found it to be quite humorous watching you roleplay on stream as a robot bunny when you played the corresponding game.
MiyukiKazuya: I’m sure your subscribers would like to see it return, too!

Kazuya choked back his laughter as he re-read Eijun’s message. Sawamura Eijun was going to do an ASMR stream? That’s… that’s interesting.
