True Colors

"You're so useless that you couldn't even prevent your mother's murder!!!" Bakugou yelled at Izuku and all time just froze. Rage. That's all Izuku Midoriya felt right now. Rage at Kacchan for blaming his mother's death on him and years of bullying and abuse. Rage at his friends, except Todoroki, for thinking he's not tough enough. Rage at his teacher for not believing in him and his abilities. Rage at himself for not being able to save his mother.

The only thing he could hear was his growing heart beat. That's when he snapped. Izuku screeched loudly as he started levitating off the ground and covered himself in lightning and Gale force winds. "What's wrong with Deku?!" Uraraka asked, frightened by what happened to her friend. "He's mad at you guys for treating him like a baby and discouraged because he can't save everyone," Todoroki explained as he walked up to the thunderstorm enveloped teenager. "Mic-sensei, do you have a microphone?" he asked Present Mic. He received a nod and was given a microphone. Taking a deep breath, Shoto let his melodious tenor voice echo through the stadium.

You with the sad eyes

All of Class 1A stared at Shoto when he started singing. They've never heard him sing before. Izuku heard the voice of his beloved resonate over the thunderstorm he was enveloped in. He calmed down a little and focused on Shoto and his singing as the winds, thunder, and lightning died down the calmer he got. Don't be discouraged, oh I realize It's hard to take courage in a world full of people You can lose sight of it all The darkness inside you Can make you feel so small

Shoto's words had an enormous effect as Izuku floated towards the ground slowly, but he was still covered in storm clouds indicating that he was still mad. Shoto walked up and took Izuku's hands into his own. Shoto gave him a calming smile and continued singing to calm his love down.

Show me a smile then

Don't be unhappy

Can't remember when

I last saw you laughing

This world makes you crazy

And you've taken all you can bear

Just

Call me up, cause I will always be there

And I see your true colors shining through.

Shoto sat on his knees and gestures to the storm clouds that were slowly dissipating, meaning that Izuku was feeling happy and relaxed.

I see your true colors and that's why I love you

Todoroki sang his heart out as he held his hand out to Izuku. The song worked and Izuku finally calmed down. But, he passed out in Shoto's arms and that was the last thing he remembered.

Everyone else learned one thing: Never EVER make Izuku Midoriya angry or there will be consequences and watched as Shoto carried Izuku back to the dormitories.
