Work Text:
It was a normal day at UA High School in Musutafu, Japan. The most prestigious hero school in Japan with some of the world’s most famous heroes being alumni. Of course, since this was a hero school, what constituted as “normal” usually meant the students would be spending the better part of the day on the training grounds honing their quirks. They didn’t have much room to complain, after all. They basically signed up for this as soon as they walked through those gates.
Currently, Class 1-A was in the middle of a tournament-style sparring exercise where the winner would be exempt from the next English test. In actuality, most of them didn’t care at all for the exemption. Their main motivation was to establish themselves as the cream of the crop at UA’s strongest first year class. A class that included quirk monsters like the stoic Shouto Todoroki, the hot-headed Katsuki Bakugou, and the strong-willed ninth user of One For All, Izuku Midoriya.
Since this was a sparring exercise, no quirks were to be allowed and students had to face each other in hand-to-hand combat until one student either yielded, or were knocked out of the circle boundary.
Ochako Uraraka, unsurprisingly did very well. Aizawa knew her training with Gunhead did her good and she showed that by defeating her competition in convincing fashion. She lost to Todoroki in the end, but was more than satisfied with her results.
Speaking of Todoroki, he narrowly lost to Bakugou, much to the other boy’s chagrin, since he was expecting to dominate every single one of his opponents. Deku pretty much ran through his competition. His hardest fight was with Ojiro and that was to be expected since the tail user grew up as a martial artist.
This in turn set up a finals match between Bakugou and Midoriya.
Childhood friends, Rivals, and pretty much anything could be used to describe them. The two knew the other more than anybody else and in turn, would set up a pretty interesting match.
“Get ready to lose to me again, nerd!” Bakugou taunted as he got into his stance.
“I doubt it, Kacchan.” Deku replied, getting into his own stance.
Over the course of his short time at UA, Deku’s confidence level skyrocketed. To the point where he was no longer afraid of the explosive boy like he was in Middle School.
Unfortunately for them, before Aizawa could blow the whistle to signify the start of the match, they were interrupted by the sudden appearance of a large green vortex coming from above.
Immediately, Aizawa called for his students, including Deku and Bakugou, to stay behind him. With his red eyes at the ready, Aizawa prepared for whatever would be coming out of that strange looking green portal.
Suddenly, a man came falling out of the portal before he used his quick thinking to remember that he had a quirk that enabled him to float. He did just that and in turn, was able to break his fall by slowly floating down onto the ground.
As he regained his bearings, he looked around and noticed the large class staring at him with wide eyed, open mouthed expressions.
“Hi?”
That did it. Suddenly, a large collective cry came out of the mouths of Class-1A.
“Midoriya?!”
“Deku?!”
“Me?!”
That’s right, because over there standing only fifteen yards away from them, was a young man that closely resembled their favorite green haired classmate. Only, much taller with way more defined muscles. A fact that a certain round faced brunette took notice of.
“Well, this is strange.” The young man replied.
“YA THINK?!”
Then, Aizawa used his teacherly influence to settle the kids down.
“Everyone, shut up.” Aizawa ordered, which immediately caused the class to comply.
“Who are you?” Aizawa asked carefully.
“I’m Izuku Midoriya, sensei!” The green haired man, now revealed as Midoriya, confirmed.
“EHHHH?!”
…
“So, you’re telling me that a villain with a time quirk sent you back here?” Aizawa asked.
“Mhm.” The young man nodded as he took a sip of the water Aizawa had given him.
Currently, he was in Class 1-A’s homeroom surrounded by younger versions of his colleagues and of course, himself.
His former teachers were also present, including All-Might.
“MIDORIYA MY BOY! HOW YOU’VE GROWN!” The now retired former number hero stated in glee. He was very interested in learning how his successor has fared over the next couple of years.
Izuku only laughed in response. He missed his mentor’s laugh.
“How long should the quirk’s effect last?”
“About an hour or so.”
“How do we know you’re not lying?” Aizawa asked, as cautious as ever.
Meanwhile, Izuku stood starstruck as he gazed at his older self. He looked so cool!
Uraraka rubbed his shoulder reassuringly and the boy gave her a smile as thanks.
“Midoriya turned into a hunk, don’t ya think?” Ashido asked Hagakure, as the invisible girl agreed. She said this a little too loud however, as Izuku turned red in response while Ochako glared at her a little.
Ashido cackled at their response. She was only saying the truth!
Future Midoriya responded.
“Well, you can always blood test me.” He proposed.
Principal Nezu agreed with the idea and called Recovery Girl over to bring the equipment needed.
“Ok, Midoriya. While Recovery Girl here takes a sample of your blood, we need you to answer a few questions while she does so. Do you consent?” Nezu asked.
Midoriya only nodded.
“What’s your birthday?”
“July 15.”
“How old are you?”
“Twenty-two.”
“What are your parent’s names?”
“Inko and Hisashi Midoriya.”
“WILL YOU MARRY ME?!”
“Midnight.” Aizawa sighed.
Izuku only laughed in response.
“Sorry Midnight-sensei, I’m a married man.”
He held up his hand to showcase the diamond ring that somehow no one seemed to notice.
Present Izuku blushed, and so did Uraraka.
He actually had someone fall in love with him?!
“HAH?! MY ASS! NO WAY ANYONE WOULD EVER FALL FOR SHITTY DEKU!”
Future Deku, offered a witty comment in response.
“This is why you’re still single in our time, Kacchan.” The young man nonchalantly stated.
Of course, this pissed the blonde boy off. Especially when the whole class laughed.
“THE FUCK YOU SA-”
Bakugou was unfortunately cut off by Aizawa, who entangled the boy in his threads.
“Bakugou, knock it off.”
All he got in response was a series of angry sounding noises.
“Who’s the lucky girl?” Ashido asked with a wink.
“Sorry, these lips are sealed.” He winked back as he symbolically zipped his mouth shut.
Ashido pouted. Though, she had a hunch as to who the mystery girl was.
“Positive ID: Izuku Midoriya” Recovery Girl read aloud after the blood results came in.
Future Izuku then gave Aizawa a “what did I tell you?” look.
‘Tch. Problem Child.’ Aizawa thought.
…
An hour seemingly came and went in moments, as a large portal suddenly appeared next to the door.
As he bid everyone farewell, he called his present self over to whisper a few words of advice in his ear.
For some reason, during that, present Izuku blushed a bright red and immediately looked over to a confused Uraraka, before looking away again.
Ashido squealed on the inside as Future Deku gave her a little wink.
With that, the Pro Hero walked into the portal and capped off one of the strangest days UA has ever seen.
