Tiny footsteps quickly padded into Dabi and Keigo's bedroom, quiet huffs and puffs coming from the toddler below the bed as Hino tried climbing onto the mattress, his teeny-tiny wings flapping swiftly to try and help him get up there.
Hino giggled triumphantly as he made his way on top of the bed and he looked up to find his mommy and daddy still sleeping, their arms wrapped around one another.
The pup smiled and crawled his way towards them, his tuffs of dark blue hair bouncing as he did so. "Mama," He chirped as he wiggled his way under their arms, snuggling into their warmth. "Dada. Dada!"
"Hmm?" Dabi's sleepy hum echoed throughout the room, his bright blue eyes slowly opening, and as soon as they landed on Hino, they softened and he smiled, running a hand through his son's head of blue hair. "Ah, morning bud. What're you doing up so early, huh?"
Hino chirped at him again and his wings fluttered. Dabi chuckled and heated his hand up, rubbing the space between his wings and making Hino purr contently.
"Mm," Keigo groaned as he awoke, blinking a bit to get used to the lighting before he smiled at Hino, reaching down to grab him and put him on his chest, Hino snuggling into him. "Good morning, sweetie. Did you sleep well?"
"Mama," Hino hummed and wrapped his tiny arms around his neck, beginning to suck on one of his thumbs as Keigo sighed contently and rubbed his back.
Dabi watched them with half-lidded eyes and couldn't keep the smile off his face even if he wanted to as he leaned forward and kissed his son on the forehead, causing Hino to giggle and put a tiny hand on his face, trying to push him away.
"Don't push me away, mister-man," He teased, still kiss him and succeeding mostly. "I just wanna love you!"
"No, dada!" Hino shouted, shrieking as each kiss tickled his face, his little wings flapping in place. "Noo!" Keigo chuckled.
"Be nice," He said sarcastically as he slapped Dabi on the shoulder gently. Dabi huffed.
"Whaddya say we get up and make some chocolate chip pancakes, bud?" He proposed and Hino sat up quickly, almost hitting Keigo in the chin before looking at his father and chirping with joy, his wings fluttering even faster now.
"Yea!" He shouts. "I want pancakes! Pancakes!"
Keigo giggled again and kissed his plump cheeks as he also sat up, letting Dabi take him once his Alpha reached over and grabbed him from under his armpits and gently threw him in the air before catching him, Hino squealing and screaming with joy the entire time as the group began to walk out the door.
"You're wish is my command, my prince!" Dabi says as he grins with glee and leads him and his family towards the kitchen, ready to make the messy disaster that is his son's pancakes.
