Mineta Knew most people didn't like him for different reason's so he had very few friends. In middle school he had hung out with another guy in class who was just as big of a pervert as he was and was probably even more creepier than he was if he was being honest. There were a lot of reasons people didn't like him for.
The first and most obvious was his biology. Being a short ugly purple migit with a pathetic quirk like his would make him a easy target for bullies. Even his own parents were disappointed. Though they would never say it out loud but he could see it in there faces. The second was his pervert behavior that caused many of the female population to dislike him or completely despise him. He couldn't help it he loved boobs.
When he was accepted into U.A he made his first real friend.
Kaminari Denki was a bit of a pervert like him. The blonde was the first to approach him at the intimating gates at the front entrance of the school. Those gates were huge ! they had walked together to class together, Mineta thought after awhile the blonde would get bored of him or find a reason to dislike him like everyone else but he didn't. Even after weeks of classes together the other was still hanging around him.
Mineta made it a point to learn everything about his friends hence he only had one. He would hang out with the others but he wouldn't call them friends.
So after nearly a year of school together mineta could tell when something was wrong with Denki.
It started with the blonde becoming quieter in class and barely paying attention. In training he looked like he could fall over without Sero help as they were paired up to battle each other. When someone would come up to him he would snap out of daze and force a smile He was eating less and would make a show of eating if someone was watching. No one noticed but him. He could see the dullness in his friends golden orbs and he hated it. He always admired kaminari eyes, they were so gold. There were so many signs.
The grape boy planned to find out what was bothering the lightning user.
