muzan, your husband, had been out on a business trip for the past few days. whenever he got back from business trips, it was always late at night, so you tried your best to stay up as lat as you could to welcome him when he got home. this had led to you falling asleep on the couch in your house numerous times. of course, that wasn’t ideal, but seeing your husband always makes it worth it.
today was no exception, you had fallen asleep on the couch once again, waiting on your lover, but sadly by the time you had fallen asleep, he still hadn’t arrived at home. when muzan had finally arrived at home, he couldn’t say he was surprised to see you not in your shared bed. he had found you asleep in different places before, so he knew the drill.
he tried his best to pick you up without jolting you awake, but when he felt you stir in his arms, he looked down at you and gave you a soft smile. “i’m home,” he said.
“welcome home,” you mumbled, burying you face in his neck. he let out a small laugh at your actions before gently setting you down on the bed. after setting you down and tucking you in, he moves away to get ready to join you in bed. you stare at him as he changes into more comfortable clothes, so when he notices, he makes a face.
“is something wrong, dear?”
“come cuddle, please.”
“i’ll come in a second, i just need to get ready for bed first.”
“but i missed you.”
“fine,” he said, climbing into the bed and wrapping his arms around you and placing his chin on top of your head. “i missed you too, my love.”
“how was your trip?” he makes another face. “if you don’t want to talk about it, just shut up and kiss me.” he smiles and follows through with what you said, softly pressing his lips against your own before pulling you even closer to him.
