the one time that the two of you decided to leave your house for a date, it started pouring. at this point, is that even a shock? nonetheless, he invited you over to his house so that the two of you could dry off and spend some more time together. of course you had been to his home before, you had been dating for a while, so when he unlocked the door, he just let you go to the bathroom to dry off as he started to make food in the kitchen.
you knew you had clothes at his house. it was innocent, really. the amount of times that neither of you were paying attention to the time while hanging out and it ended up being too late for you to want to go back home, caused him to just tell you to always have a few pairs of clothes over. you could have picked one of those out to wear after drying off, but there’s no fun in that. plus it had been a while since you had seen him, due to him constantly being on missions. so you made the logical decision and picked one of his shirts to wear over your shorts.
it was pure bliss compared to the clothes you had on prior. to start off it was dry, but it smelled like him which made it pure heaven. after grinning to yourself over your choice, you made your way to his kitchen to assist him with making food, or just take over because he hadn’t had the chance to go dry off yet. when you got his attention, he turned around to give you a soft kiss before turning back to the food in front of him.
about a second later he looked back at you. “is that my shirt?”
“it smells like you, and it’s comfortable. plus i missed you”
“stop being so cute.”
“aw... i love you, too.”
