The fight didn’t look good at all. All the pro heroes have been fighting for almost 12 hours without resting. This villain who claimed to be stain’s son. Most of the recent graduates,who graduated two years ago from Ua, are fighting here but this villain didn’t cut shit like Stain, he can compress whatever he touches. That’s why the pros are being so careful with him. If he touches you, the affected part would hurt so fcking bad and start to compress itself until it starts to bleed and eat your body. That’s what happened to one of the pros. Kirishima was taking care of this group of old lady’s. He carefully ensures that they do not suffer any damage. Taking care of each one of them.
Because that’s how Kirishima is. So humble, kind and warm-hearted that he would forget that this villain is really fast and smart. After making sure that 3 of the 4 old lady’s were safe, the last one slipped on the ground making kirishima to move himself of his defense position
Just to help her to cross the rest of the street by carrying her next to the destroyed walls. But he didn’t know that the villain was ready to attack him.
And thank good Bakugou was there to stop itIt happened really fast. Bakugou didn’t feel it, at least not at the exact instant
The villain was right behind kirishima and ready to use his quirk on him, when Bakugou made a really big explosion while pushing him really far away from Kirishima and the old lady’s. He didn’t want to imagine what would’ve happened if that fucker had touched Kirishima. With Kiri’s quirk activated he couldn’t move that much, so once the villain would put his hands on him,he was over. Bakugou knew his boyfriend’s quirk really good so he wasn’t going to let it happen, when he hit the villains face Kirishima saw what was happening now.
Bakugou and the villain were fighting, the villain was tired of dodging Bakugous explosions so once he couldn’t move anymore Bakugou gave the final hit. But not long after that he felt a hand on his left arm. He was already hurt when he felt the most horrible pain he’d ever felt in his life. Well that’s it. He thought. He felt his left arm compressing itself until breaking his bones. Falling on his knees and taking off his gauntlet really fast hoping it lessens the pain.
“KAT! KAT! KATSUKI OMG! It’s okay it’s okay!”good luck that Deku was looking for them at this moment, he saw an expression on Kacchan’s face that he never thought he would actually have seen.
It was pain, fear and sadness.
Tears of pain and desperation appeared on Bakugous face.
“KACCHAN! Kirishima-Kun is everything alr-
“Call a fucking ambulance Midoriya PLEASE! SHHHH ITS OKAY KAT! He has Bakugous head resting on his chest while Bakugou was drowning himself in pain on the floor.
Deku noticed Bakugou’s arm. That’s not looking good at all.
“Hey Katsuki listen to me okay!!? Is fine is fine! everything is going to be okay Midoriya just called an ambulance! You hear me!!??” Kirishima was sobbing at this point, it wasn’t easy to understand what he was saying. Bakugou tried to look at his arm, Kiri stopped him with a kiss, and a hand on his eyes.
“JUST WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! please don’t leave me Kats, please say something please” at that point Bakugou realized that he was only crying and letting out screams of pain that he forgot how to speak.
“I’m....nghhh fucking fine okay!!? No, FUCK DONT FUCKING CRY IM FINE !” he felt the pain expanding more and more through his body.
Kirishima couldn’t do this, watching the love of his life screaming in pain like he had never done before. “Why did he do that! Why would he protect a weak shit like me!”he thought
The ambulance came and Kiri was just kissing Bakugou as much as he could trying to calm him down, but it didn’t work. Bakugou tried to see his arm before everything faded to black but no one let him. The doctors were really stressed out they tried everything to stop the quirk from eating the rest of Bakugou’s body. By the time they arrived at the hospital Bakugou’s left wrist, elbow and hand were irreconcilable, it kinda looked like that meatball quirk they faced way back in the provisional license exam.
Kirishima was in shock he didn’t know what to do, his tears were falling down of his face nonstop he just held Bakugou’s right hand and remembered that all this was his fault for not being capable enough. He should’ve seen the villain
“there’s no way we can heal that, there’s just one solution, he’s an adult now but we need someone to make a decision, the parents are on their way right?” asked the doctor preparing himself for a surgery with his whole team.
“KATSUKI!” someone shouted from the corridor
Kirishima saw the Bakugou’s running towards the room ignoring the warnings of the doctor
“OH MY GOOD OH KATSUKI YOU BRAT DONT DIE!!!” Mitsuki started crying and hugging Bakugous head.
“honey..” Masaru was shaking and just hugged his wife and didn’t want to look at his soon, he didn’t want to look how Bakugous dream was falling apart.
“we aren’t sure if he can survive this if you don’t make a decision now. We already lost a pro hero because of this villain and he just touched his thumb. So we need you to breath, your soon is really strong his body is fighting even when he’s unconscious but he’s loosing lots of blood, and his muscle mass is more weak, we need to stop the quirk effect now, before it expands to his whole body Mr and Ms Bakugou we need you to make a decision right now, we can save him but there’s just one way, We need the young man out of here now and I’ll tell you” Mitsuki stared at Kirishima with a sad smile “please I need to stay with him too, please let me be by his side” cried kiri
“you’ll be with him honey but.... please” begged Mitsuki. Kirishima understood and left the room immediately. He doesn’t remember how much did he wait, he just remembered Mitsuki’s cries.
He zoned out, maybe this is a dream, his boyfriend isn’t dying at all he just needs to wake up. He started smacking his head and slapping his cheeks. The nurses passing by noticed and offered him help and he just said he needed to wake up Kirishima was slowly panicking, Bakugou was definitely going to break up with him, he was the reason why he can’t use his arm anymore, he’s the reason... he’s why he’s dying!!!
“KACCHAN!” shouted Deku he had just arrived it looks like he ran.
“Kirishima-kun!! What’s going on! Stop hitting yourself. Deku held Kirishima’s fists
-hey hey Kirishima-kun look at me S-STOP!- kirishima Just looked at Deku and said that it was all his fault for being so weak, and then he cried harder with tears his body didn’t even had anymore.
Bakugou’s parents left the room and he saw how the doctors were ran to the surgery room with Bakugou.
Mitsuki saw Kiri crying on Midoriya’s shoulder and sit next to him.
“he’s going to be fine Kiri, he promised me that” she cleaned Kirishimas face and he just cried harder
“SORRY! I’m so sorry it’s all my fault he saved me, he saw I was in danger! I’m so so so Sorry!! I’m so weak, I hate me so much, so I understand if you hate me too!!” he just hugged Mitsuki’s hand, Deku just stared at him sadly he didn’t know what to say.
“Oh darling.... this isn’t your fault. Ei you’ve been the support that Katsuki always wanted, he is so happy when he’s with you, so thank you so much honey, you’re not weak okay? Katsuki knew this was serious I know him, he loves you so much Kiri so don’t say such a thing!” she said crying
“uhh...what are they gonna do to him?”asked Deku. Mitsuki looked at him sadly and then looked at his husband who was crying too.
“They’ll amputate his left arm, they say that he’ll conserve his bicep but the rest it’s gone” clarified Masaru
Kirishima passed out, he never cried more than that night.
When Bakugou woke up everything felt like he’d been sleeping for years, everything was blurry,his eyes looked at that bunch of red hair next to him.His right hand was trapped between kirishimas head and the hospital bed.His nose itches so he lifted his left hand,but it never touched his nose.
Oh he realized that he didn’t have a left hand and forearm anymore. Oh He saved Kirishima.
Then he fell asleep again. Okay it’s okay he saved Eijirou. Now he had to deal with using his quirk with one hand, he can do it. He doesn’t regret anything.
Kirishima woke up to see Bakugou’s peaceful face sleeping. Would it stay like that once he sees it? Would he still love him for taking part of his life away for being an idiot!??!
Kirishima has been there for one week now hearing the beeps of the machine that was connected to Bakugou. And crying in every opportunity he had just the thought of Bakugou hating him broke his heart. What is he going to do without the love of his life!??
Then he heard a soft mumble. He looked at Bakugou and saw his eyes opening slowly.
“KATSUKI!!!” Kirishima’s heart almost stopped because of happiness.
“Hey” Bakugou said with his morning voice.
“How are you feeling..?” Kiri was so scared, once Bakugou sees his left arm he-“
“ well like I just waked up from the worst hangover I’ve ever had” he said, why aren’t you breaking up me? Kirishima’s eyes couldn’t handle it anymore and started crying
“Kat...I’m so sorry it’s my fault” he hugged his right arm.
“What? Ei-“ Bakugou sat up so he could talk to him.
“NO it is my fault if only I was a better hero and saw that villain coming, this would’ve never happened to you I ruined your life” he was sobbing
“Eijirou stop now, just what the fuck are you saying?!! Your fault!?? Are you insane? You were saving a life, you did your job right idiot. You’re a good hero! tell me idiot, how many times did we save each other’s lives!!?”
“Too many to remember... but”
“But nothing Ei what would’ve happened if this had been the other way around huh? I know that I would never forgive myself, but you would say that it wasn’t my fault right?”
“Kat you lost your arm I can’t forgive myself for that..... your dream!! Your career I-“
“Yeah...I still have another one so what?”
“This ain’t the moment to joke Katsuki, how can you not even be mad at me??” He said crying again
“Because you’re fucking fine Ei, because I did my job right, and you’re here with me” he said grabbing Ei’s face with his now only hand.
“Still babe how are you gonna work without something so important” he cried
“Kirishima we live in a world full of quirks I’m sure there’s something okay?” Kat kissed the shorter boy and kirishima just felt terrible he was supposed to be calming Katsuki, not the other way around.
“Uhhh Sorry if we interrupt” said Masaru
“Pops...”Bakugou said
“Son...”he went to hug him, Bakugou knew his family would be worried specially his dad.
“I’m fine” he said
“You better be brat” Mitsuki entered the room with the Doc.
“Hello mr. Bakugou I’m Doctor Inoff I would like to talk you alone.”
Kirishima looked at his boyfriend one last time and went outside with the Bakugou’s
“So as you may have seen, now you don’t have a left forearm and hand.”
Bakugou took a moment to see again his left arm. It feels awkward as hell he swears that he can still feel his now gone hand.
“Is it over? Or is there a solution?”
“Well there is one...since you have a top hero Insurance, your company decided to search the best solution. But it’s sadly extremely painful, if you decide to do it, they’ll bring a person from South America with a regeneration quirk. But you need to wait two months”
Fucking hell those are definitely good news to Bakugou he ignored the fact that the Doc said it was extremely painful.
“I’ll do it.”
“What that fast?” The doctor was surprised.
“Yes tell me when I can leave and when will that person come I’ll wait”
“Well okay then I’ll contact your company right now, you can leave the hospital tomorrow I’ll talk to your parents now, my name is Jack call me if you need me.”
“Yeah whatever thanks”
The doctor exited the room and Kirishima entered immediately
“Kat is everything okay!??” He hugged him again
“Yeah calm down Ei I’m fine, hey guess what the doctor’s name is Jack Inoff.” Kiri just laughed softly
“How can you be so calm Kat..?”
“Because there is nothing much that i can do in this situation, I won’t sit here and cry. He said there’s a solution”
“What!? Really!”
“Yeah our company will bring a person with a regeneration quirk but I need to wait two months.”
“Omg babe that’s awesome!!”Kiri smiled for real now
“Yeah he said that it’s extremely painful tho but I don’t give a f-“
“What but how much is extremely painful? is there a risk to it? You’ll be safe?”
“Well it’s the only solution...”
“Babe I don’t know do you really..”
“Yes Ei I want to give it a try”
“Okay”
Once the hospital said that it was safe to let Bakugou go home, Kirishima decided to take a break from work as well so he can be with Bakugou, even though Bakugou was complaining about it he eventually gave in.
So for those 2 months the Doctor gave Kirishima a prosthesis for Bakugou. But he decided to not use it.
Bakugou could easily describe these 2 months as the most stressful thing he has ever experienced. Always getting frustrated for trying to use his left arm and throwing things because he’s exasperated. Getting used to not having his left arm was the most difficult thing.
Kirishima would observe him and broke in tears saying things like “I’m sorry” or “it’s my fault” but it always ended with Bakugou assuring him that it’s not his fault. That all this is just fucking new to him.
Because it’s true Bakugou knows that it’s not Kiri’s fault at all, he saved the life of two people, and Bakugou saved kirishima. So he’s more than convinced that he would do it again. So he hugs him with his right arm until Kiri stops crying on his chest. Bakugou hates the fact that he can’t work and that now his quirk is limited to one arm. If that regeneration quirk doesn’t work at all, his career is screwed up not only he can’t use his left arm anymore but his quirk would be half as powerful than it was before
Fuck he even had to be the one in the passengers seat, when he loves driving! And kiri ain’t the best driver, he himself said it but the fact that Kirishima is doing everything for him now it’s bittersweet to him.
Why? It’s bitter Because Kirishima is doing everything for him, like helping him eat, shower, change his clothes, drive for him, be the one who carries the groceries bags, etc so he feels like he is useless, when he can’t help.
But it’s sweet because Kiri is so damn cute and affectionate whe he does it.
He didn’t want the prosthesis because he knew that he would be able to bear with everythin, but it’s so fcking hard. He doesn’t want to cry of frustration in front of Kiri because he knows how would that end up but even though he tries so hard to act tough in front of everyone, he can’t help but cry sometimes and think if his career is really over.
The moment he was waiting for finally came. He was hugging his mom and kirishima before entering to the surgery room. Even though he really doesn’t know how is the process of this. Kirishima is crying again and saying that everything is going to be perfect.
The doctor came in and introduced him to the person with the quirk it was a short old man. Bakugou said thanks and this little man tried to shake his left hand, and Bakugou just stared.
“Oh sorry the other hand!” then it worked he actually shook his hand. The doctor told him to lay down on the bed and that’s the last thing he remembers.
When the doctor told him about this solution he actually did say it would be extremely painful but Bakugou didn’t expect it to be that painful, feeling how your arm starts growing again while you bleed and your bones grow too ain’t cute at all. He thought the anesthesia would help him a bit but he started screaming as soon as the doctor opened his arm and that man with the quirk started doing his job he felt like he was dying again.
Kirishima and the Bakugou’s could hear Katsuki’s screams of pain (curse words)
Kirishima was so worried he didn’t like hearing his boyfriend cry and scream like that, he started crying too. But Mitsuki hugged him. Then after 5 hours the screams of agony finally stopped.
When Kirishima was allowed to enter the room, Bakugou was still asleep, with his face looking exhausted and peaceful at the same time, his new arm was bandaged but it looked perfect like it could work. Kiri would be so happy if this worked out.
The news about Ground Zero losing his left arm were everywhere, their old classmates were so worried, as well as all the Ground Zero fans and supporters, news saying things like “is this the end for GZ?!” Pissed him off, they all needed to know that his boyfriend was going to come back even stronger.
He asked the doctor how things will go from now on, and he explained that Bakugou’s new arm needs to learn how to feel again, practicing slowly, things like grabbing light things and then heavier things. His fingers should “work out” every hour. He even gave Kiri a gum ball saying Bakugou will need it later, and that the last thing Bakugou should do is start trying to use his quirk again. Once it’s everything done Bakugou could be back on field after 4 months.
“4 MONTHS!? Oh god he won’t like that” Kiri was sure about it
“Well it depends on how much Bakugou practices and of course he shouldn’t overuse his new arm, he needs to take his time”
“Okay...thank you so much doctor”
“Sure he should be awake in one hour or less”

After waiting 2 hours Bakugou was waking up, his parents came back from shopping food. Kiri never letting go of Bakugou’s new left hand.
“Babe good night...how are you feeling?”
“Like trash” mumbled Bakugou
“You were so brave my son” Masaru petted Bakugou’s hair and Mitsuki just held his other hand.
“It was about time to wake up Brat I was getting worried”
“Uhmmm” Bakugou’s voice was so weak and choppy
“Babe look at it” Kiri squeezed his new hand really softly
“Wha— I felt that“ Bakugou tried to lift his arm but he couldn’t do it so fast
“Slowly Babe, now is all bandaged you need to be careful”
“Holy fuck yes” he smiled feeling his arm and hand again
This wasn’t going to stop Ground Zero

After being discharged Kiri and Bakugou were aware of how this new entire process would go, Kiri was right when he knew that Bakugou would be pissed off because of the time it would take to be back on field but he ended up accepting it.
Kiri took vacations to help him, but it wasn’t something Bakugou liked.
“Wtf Ei they need you”
“Yeah but my boyfriend needs me too! Bakugou I’m not going to discuss this anymore okay? Deku just came back from his vacations so everything is fine. That’s it no more discussion about this”
Bakugou just growled in disgust he knew Kiri wouldn’t change his mind so he started practicing how to grab something, he looked ridiculous but at least he’s progressing. In the first check in the hospital he was able to see his new arm without the bandage.
It was disgusting, it looked like Deku’s arms when he used OFA excessively, it was purple and green but the doctor said that with the time it would be matching his skin tone.
And that’s how the months passed by, with Bakugou practicing 24/7 and getting really frustrated sometimes at the point where he would throw things and cry. Thank god Ei stayed with him, so he can help him calm down, before he destroys their home. But of course they used their
free time to love each other in all senses. Kirishima was using his not so professional cooking skills to make Bakugou a proper meal every day, but once Bakugou ended with the practice he started cooking again, it felt amazing his new arm was totally matched to his skin tone now
The only thing that was missing was using his quirk with it. The amount of sweat or nitroglycerin was even bigger now in his new arm. He was ready. Kiri was so happy after they end with this last part they can fight again! So they went to a quirk training room
But the first attempt didn’t work at all, Bakugou was so disappointed, Kiri just cuddled him and told him that it was okay maybe tomorrow
Days passed by and finally worked but it hurt a bit at the beginning and his explosiones weren’t as big as before. It was like a title fire work in the air, with more days of practice he progressed more and his explosions now were bigger but still not as powerful
It wasn’t until the end of his medical rest that he could work again next to Kiri who started working again some weeks before him.
This time they had to fight a villain with a grenade quirk it was like Mineta’s quirk but with grenades. The villain was disturbing a public area and has been causing real serious damages
His colleagues including Eijirou went before him to avoid a big attack towards him, which pissed him off
“I don’t need y’all to protect me I’m freaking fine now” Ei looked at him saying
“Babe we know what are you capable of okay? But you still can’t do a Big explosion like before you have to star slowly and not destroy your new arm” auch Ei didn’t trust him,
“No Katsuki don’t make that face okay? I know what you are thinking now but this is not because we think your weak okay? It’s just to make sure there’s nothing that will require you to overuse your arm” damn Eijirou knew him so well, but still he doesn’t like this feeling.
“Okay is now or never the target is right there”
Bakugou took a look to the villain he was really tall even taller than him. They started the plan and divided the team into rescue and fight, Bakugou went for fight and Eijirou too.
The rest of the team rushed to help the victims and injured people
The fight was intense since this villain was bigger than both of them, kirishima did the defense and Bakugou the attack like always but Bakugou’s right arm was getting tired and he had to use his new arm
But he was frustrated cuz Kiri had to take a lot of hits and grenades explosions because the attack percentage wasn’t the same
“Fuck it” he stood before Kiri and tried, making and explosion to confuse the villain. But still Kiri had to resist more hits
He succeeded at making bigger explosions than before but still not as big as his right arm. The villain punched Kiri sending him kilometers away letting Bakugou alone to fight
Kiri tried to stand up but his skin hurts after using unbreakable for too long.
“Ei wait for me okay!”
“Fuck Kat Sorry Sorry...” Kirishima has to be saved again for Bakugou and even when he’s still in medical observation, he felt useless his body not helping after receiving non ending hits, punches and explosions and still He saw that Bakugou was still looking awesome while fighting even in conditions like that, Bakugou was overusing his right arm but he felt how some kind of energy was growing in the new arm, like it wanted to be released the villain punched him and pinned him to the ground Bakugou tried to make a explosion with his new arm but no explosion cane out
What did came was a super punch that sent the villain to the sky
“What the hell...?” Bakugou stared at his hand did he just do that? The villain was falling down so he tried again this time the biggest one-handed explosion he has ever made came out making the villain crash against
a building, but then this energy was there again as if his previous explosion energy was accumulated in his new arm. His hand kinda sparkling and waiting for this energy to be released. He went running towards Kiri until the red head screamed
“KATS BEHIND YOU”
He saw how the villain came towards his direction really fast
“Fuck... this better work” he prepared his arm to release that energy accumulated in one punch
So when the villain was about to attack he punched him, and the villains body crashed against a building wall With such a extreme force
“What in the world...” he looked at Kirishima’s shocked expression
“FUCK YEAHHHH THERE IT IS BABY! DID YOU SEE THAT IM BACK AT IT AGAIN FUCKERS” Bakugou kissed his new hand and started jumping of happiness
“BABE HOLY SHIT WHAT WAS THAT?!? IT WAS AWESOME” Kiri shouted while he tried to walk towards Katsuki, but trembling a little
Bakugou caught him before he fell down.
“Bakugou is that a new power!??” Kiri hugged him while he was in his arms.
“Shit i don’t know I think that once I release an explosion the energy stays on my arm to throw a punch after” he used his right arm to hold Eijirou and his new hand to create a little explosion, confirming his theory when his arm saved the impact energy for a punch later. They just looked at each other smiling. Kirishima couldn’t be happier that Katsuki not only has gained more power in his explosions but also evolved his quirk!

The news that Ground Zero defeated a villain on his first day of work after such a long medical rest, the obtaining of his new arm and his quirk new power were everywhere.
Bakugou didn’t just received a new arm but a new power as well.
Everyone was happy for him specially Kiri. Who couldn’t believe that his boyfriend could be more powerful and hot than he was now. That’s why he congratulated the blond with the best sex session ever. They’re cuddling and analyzing the recent discoveries
“See? Everything went fine” Katsuki whispered on his ear
“I’m glad it was....I was afraid of you not being able to use your quirk because a sacrifice you did because of me and-“
“And I’d do it again...Eijirou please understand that I would’ve never thought about hating you in any moment because the only thing I refuse to loose is you” Kirishima was a mess already, he hugged Bakugo with tears falling down of his face
“Wahhhhh babe I love you so much” sobbed the smaller one
“Me too Ei and I still have 3 more extremities to prove it to you” he gave Ei a smirk.
“DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, I FORBID YOU!” He punched him
