"Okay, but what if the team went to a planet that thrived off emotions. Like they lived off of them. The stronger the emotion, the stronger they became. Like emotions kept their planet alive, it was the fuel that kept the lights on and the whole planet running, it was like electricity. Now imagine that Allura and the team are forming an alliance with them, and the aliens show them how it works. There’s this little platform with a smoky white orb displayed. They simply explain that all you have to do is press your palm against the orb, and boom. You contribute whatever emotion you’re feeling to the planet.Now imagine Lance walking up to it, not saying a word, and just barely grazes the orb, and the entire planet just lights up. The lights get too bright to bear, some even exploding, and they can physically hear the hum of the energy in the air. The team looks in awe at the various blues that now light up the planet. One of the Paladins says “Wow Lance, I didn’t know you were /that/ excited about this mission.” Then one of the aliens just had the awed, grave look on their face and all they can say is “These colors do not mean happiness. They represent anguish.”"

Summary
Katsuki asks him one night in front of the fireplace after dinner why Izuku hasn’t left. They’ve added on to Katsuki’s small hut, made more yard space for herbs and vegetables. Before Katsuki realizes, his home has turned into their home.
The way Izuku looks at him has his blood simmering. Izuku doesn’t lie to him.
“If it had been any other Alpha, I would have." But he says something about Katsuki has him wanting to stay. Like he should know him. Like he smells familiar, even though they had never met until a year prior.
Izuku nervously twiddles his fingers, bunches the fabric of his pant leg then releases it. “My… my season starts again soon,” he admits shyly. When their eyes meet, it has Katsuki holding his breath at the longing he finds there.
“I don’t want to spend it alone again,” Izuku declares between them. It’s soft, a simple breath like he’s scared it’ll upset the entire delicate balance they’ve built. “Not… not when I always feel you so deep in my bones already.”

Summary
When Katsuki released his wrist, Izuku slowly withdrew his touch but couldn’t look away from the green handprint now circling the other alpha’s throat. It was an unmistakable mark of claiming. Blood roared in his ears.
Mine, his thoughts snarled, violent, insistent. At his back, he could hear his ram stomping his hooves and tossing his head in a show of dominance. Similarly, Katsuki’s wolf had gone still, and he stood tall, tail rigid, teeth bared, and eyes glowing.
Despite accepting Izuku’s mark on his skin, despite welcoming it on the most vulnerable part of his body, Katsuki was still an alpha staring down another alpha. For the first time, though, the thought didn’t worry Izuku. Instead, it exhilarated him.

All Izuku could manage was a weak, "Kacchan?"
"Izuku," Katsuki said, eyes not faltering, "I really hope that this doesn't ruin your birthday, but this is how I feel."
Izuku didn't dare even think of breathing.

“Well, that man clearly doesn’t know his fucking lettuce!” Katsuki snapped, and she raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t think I’ve ever met a Hero so passionate about…lettuce.”
Katsuki’s face heated up, and he quickly ducked into his high collar to hide it.
“I don’t think I’ve met a Hero with such a dirty mouth either,” she continued with a growing smile, and Katsuki blushed harder.
“Listen, lady, as long as I save people, my language doesn’t matter,” he said, but it sounded a bit petulant.
She laughed, a light, tinkling sound. “I guess not.”
