He finds Ray out on the fire escape, sucking in deep breaths of early-morning air. The city below them is twinkling with light, the sky above just beginning to shade toward predawn grey. Barry thinks it’s beautiful. It’s also the prime time for nightmares.
“Do you want to talk about it?” he asks eventually.
Ray scoffs. “How can I?”
