“Kacchan, you’ll be sure to get a cool quirk! You’ll save a lot of people! ..but you’ll annoy them too”, the boy behind him giggled, facing the sea as they walked along the coast.
“What are you saying, idiot? You’ll get yours too you know! We can be a hero team! I’ll drag you up if I have to!” Katsuki replied, facing the boy. “We’ll be legends!”, he says as he runs ahead.
The boy stopped in his tracks as he solemnly smiled, “I wonder about that”, he whispers to himself, and started walking again. Katsuki was moving further and further away, but the boy never changed his pace, or took his eyes off of his friend.
“I’ll be called a Lord! Or maybe a king!!”, Katsuki shouts and points at the stars, “Stars will be named after us!!”
They walked along the coast long enough for the tides to leave his footprints alone. Katsuki came back to where the boy was, encouraged him to walk faster beside him, but the boy took his hands.
“You’ll get a really cool quirk and be a fantastic hero, Kacchan,” the boy said as he held their hands together. “But I probably wont be there.”
The boy let him go, and without moving, Katsuki can feel the boy fade, slowly, slowly disappearing.
