He's sweet like candy in my veins
when shinsou first met kaminari, his first thought was “oh shit, he’s so pretty”
Baby, I'm dying for another taste
but when he started to know kaminari as someone more than a pretty face, his first thought was “oh shit, im in love”
And every night my mind is running around him
after their first date, shinsous mouth was stuck in a permanent grin, his heart beating wildly as he recalled the events of that day. of how kaminari seemed to smile with his whole face, how his nose scrunched up and eyes lifted up at the corners. his lame jokes, and how kaminaris pretty eyes widened every time shinsou laughed at said jokes.
that night, shinsou couldnt sleep. but for the first time, his mind wasn’t plagued with vicious nightmares, but instead filled with the echo of kaminaris melodic laughter.
Thunder's getting louder and louder
sometimes, shinsou didn’t know what to make of his feelings for kaminari. he was filled with so much affection and love for that boy that it scared him. kaminari was something precious, something dear, so how could someone like shinsou ever have him?

but all it took was for kaminaris loud laughter to draw him back to the present. as shinsou sat in the common room with his classmates, fixated on kaminaris face illuminated by the tv screen, he realised that this was denki kaminari. the boy could expel lightning bolts out of his hands, for goodness sake. he could probably shock the whole room into oblivion, let alone protect himself. why was shinsou putting himself on a pedestal, thinking he could hurt denki with his quirk? this boy was so full of life, so full of passion and love for everyone else that he-
wait, did shinsou just call him denki?

All I need is to be struck
shinsou loved denki. how could he not? how could anyone see how denki was so caring - how he always included everyone in the conversation so they wouldn’t feel left out (even mineta .) and not fall for the boy? that was a mystery to him.
how did they not feel their heart skip a beat whenever denki would place a hand on their shoulder when he noticed they were upset?
how did they not feel their cheeks burning whenever denki would shoot them one of his signature grins and wink at them?
….maybe shinsou was just… Very Gay….
but still! denki was just so sweet, so friendly and always willing to help others out. he always tried his best in everything, no matter what others might say. he was surprisingly perceptive when it came to his friends, scarily so, despite calling himself “stupid” half of the time. (shinsou vehemently disagreed and was trying to drill into denkis head that he was, in fact, smart.)

shinsou would admit that although denki had his flaws, he was still a lovable idiot.

his lovable idiot. and no matter how many times denki might strike him with something more than his quirk, when their arguments barralled past boundaries, when words aimed to strike spewed out of denkis mouth like poisoned arrows, he still loved denki.

and shinsou wouldnt change that for the world.
